Home with Amazing Screened in Patio and Back Yard

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is the perfect place for anyone looking for a get-a-way. Our place is in a secluded area but also within walking distance to Old Stone Fort Park which has a museum, trails for exercise, and water for kayak, canoeing, and fishing. Also our home is close to Historic Downtown Manchester, Lynchburg and the Jack Daniel's Distillery, Rock City, George Dickel Distillery, and Tim's Ford Lake. Or if you want to stay home we have a beautiful, large screened in porch, outdoor fire pit, grills and a koi fish pond with several sitting areas in the yard. There is a big screen TV in a large sitting room and wood burning fireplace in the living room. Very cozy and plenty of room to spread out and a fenced in yard for your pets.

We enjoyed our stay; the house was great. The dogs liked exploring in the back yard. Everything was just as described or pictured unlike some of the places I have rented. Everything was clean and in good shape.

Tennessee Charm

This is a wonderful house to really explore Tennessee hospitality. It’s extremely cozy and feels like you’re at home. It has a huge backyard and just walking distance to the Stone Fort Park. There are also many other attractions nearby. We have been traveling through Tennessee for about 30 years and wished we had found this home earlier.

Such a Wonderful Stay !

Amazing hosts ! Myself, mother and two adult sons were came from South Carolina for my brother’s wedding. Such an easy booking, check-in, house was clean, yard was so beautiful, Koi pond was my favorite. The house was overly stocked with all kinds of amenities. Our family had such an amazing time in town for the wedding and visiting with family we haven’t seen since before COVID. Thank you again for hosting us in your wonderful home ! ☺️

Beautiful & spotless home

We had a wonderful stay in this home. It is beautiful inside and out. The cleanliness is much better than any VRBO that I have stayed in. There were so many extra touches as well. Towels were laid out for us and there was an amenities basket with items just in case we had forgotten anything. It even included a sewing kit. The koi pond is amazing! I would give this rental more than a 5 star if I could and would definitely rent again. Well done to the property owners!

Older style home generally clean except for a few surprises in kitchen. microwave not clean and a bag of rotting potatoes in a drawer. Except for those, we loved the place.

Misleading layout of beds

House was on a busy highway - would not have booked if I had received the address in time to cancel. The layout stated there was a king bed and double bed in one room. There was only a king bed. Had to also book a hotel to accommodate two of the granddaughters. The heating system was not consistent throughout the house. Bedrooms were warm and TV room and 2nd bathroom was cold. TV was not working. After the second day, unpulled everything and it finally started working.

Great house

The host was very responsive. The house has a number of cool paintings and antique furniture. Porch is perfect for hanging. Koi pond is amazing. Clean, spacious and very close to town.

Coming Home

Our multi-generation family enjoyed our stay here. My 86 year old mother got to share her hometown and distant relatives with her grown grandchildren. This house made a great home base for everything we wanted to do in the area including Old Stone Fort and Rutledge Falls. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Greatly enjoyed the back patio and other beautiful gathering areas for relaxing places to visit with family. One extra that was appreciated was that the couple of areas in the house that had a step up included a sturdy hand pull. Owner very responsive and friendly. She genuinely cared that we had a great trip.

Just like visiting great grandma’s house

The screened in back porch is amazing and huge! Staying here was a lovely trip down memory lane of summers visiting grandparents and great grandparents. Everything from the beautiful authentic hardwood floors to the artwork and collectibles to the sturdy furniture! We could feel the love in this house and were reminded of the love of family. We also enjoyed the touchless toilet flusher and fast wifi!

We loved our stay at this wonderful home! It is so tastefully decorated and very charming. Our host made us feel very comfortable and added many personal touches to welcome us that were very much appreciated. She was also very responsive to any requests we had. Very homey and we have a great screened in patio and fenced in yard to hang out and relax with just you, your family and friends, and pets if included in your party. Also an inside wood burning fireplace. Does not get much more comfortable than this!
