The host was excellent, as was the condo. It was like being home with all the conveniences and amenities. Great balcony and views. My sister and I stayed a week and loved every minute. It was certainly convenient to have the best restaurant on the island right on the property. Dukes! I think we ate every meal there.Our host communicated with us every step of the way from booking to follow up.You will love renting this property.We did. Don't make this mistake we did in overpacking because the unit has a great washer and dryer.Enjoy your stay.Diane and Joy

Honua Kai is a great resort and this listing had everything we needed while traveling with a toddler. The extra bedroom and full kitchen were great perks. We would definitely stay here again

Amazing unit!

The unit is excellent for a family. Very spacious and comfortable. The large balcony is a fantastic addition to this unit. Traveling with a family is wonderful; however, a unit with a kitchen and laundry is essential, which this unit provides. For sure, we will come back!

Wonderful stay!

My family had a wonderful stay at the property - it was a perfect set up for us and a great location within the resort. Pool and beach were fun places to hang out, and there was easy access along the beach path to explore the other resorts along the beach.

Fabulous stay at Honua Kai

This was our first time staying in this part of Maui, and first time at this resort property. We loved it! We are a family of 3 that enjoy having our own living space and full kitchen - which this unit more than adequately provided. Huge bathroom, loads of towels, comfortable beds, large lanai to watch the sunset and whale activity, and all of the amenities of home that you could wish for. The suite came equipped with beach chairs, toys, an umbrella and boogie boards, which were used daily! The location is a 10 minute drive from numerous incredible beaches. The host was excellent to deal with and quickly resolved a maintenance issue on our first day. We would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo :)

Great Vacation!

This condo was beautiful. Great views, nicer than anticipated in the pictures on VRBO. Comfortable rooms and beds. Great bathroom. Large patio which is great for relaxing or having a meal outside. We used the pullout couch that turns into a bed and our child loved that set up. It was a great stay and would recommend to anyone. It was a nice touch having washer and dryers, dishwasher, coffee maker, and beach supplies (chair, boogie boards, and umbrella) to use. The resort is very very nice as well!!!

Absolutely perfect

Communication with property manager was excellent. The unit itself was more spacious than expected. The second bedroom was perfect as was the large bathroom. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. There is not one negative thing to say regarding our stay here. We were there probably at peak travel season yet the grounds were never too busy. Duke's is incredible. We walked to the Westin for shave ice. We loved the close proximity to the beach but you definitely need water shoes as the bottom is pretty rocky. You can snorkel here as well. The food trucks in the parking lot right next to the property were very convenient and delicious. Would highly recommend this unit!

MUST STAY! As a top elite member of countless travel programs, this review goes against everything I know. This condo and facility surrounding it is beyond expectations. It is first class perfection with a slice of amazing. Clean, spacious, quite with amazing views from your very own extra large family balcony.

Loved it…

We’ve stayed at the Honua Kai and love the property and location. There is nothing better in Kaanapali. The property manager, Tiffany, was outstanding. She helped me make changes to the reservation and responded to all my requests. Our only criticism was that a few of the towels had holes in them, the sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain and the unit is looking a little tired and could use a minor refresh. Overall, an excellent stay. We will be back.

Great place

The location was amazing. Easy access to the beach with lots of room for people in pools. Easy access to places to eat and loved the food truck set up in walking distance from room. Would recommend going down the beach to left to swim as rocks and coral are abundant in front of our place and will cut you up. Happy with everything would stay again. Try out slappy cakes for breakfast
