A cozy getaway with all the necessities such as a microwave, stove , refridgerator, coffee maker, and 3 queen beds . Sleeps 5 only .
Internet and Cable T.V. Beautiful deck with glass table and 4 swivel chairs. This is a duplex and bottom floor is all yours to enjoy. Fishing and swimming is right at your footsteps. Most beautiful sunrise and sunsets you can imagine. Cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night, you'll be happy you stayed with us. A cozy 1950's fishing cabin that your gonna enjoy staying in. Paddle Board, Kayak, Golf Cart, Paddle Boat

Better than advertised

Loved the location.Traveled solo and loved the peace and quiet. Boaters didn’t show up until 4pm and it seemed like I had the lake all to myself. Plan on coming back with my husband next spring.Vicki Kelly

This was my first time renting a short term property.The experience was not at all what i was expecting. First of all VRBO commercials say no host on site, and this is their claim to be better than Air B&B.While the hosts were very nice people, I was not expecting them to be living upstairs. I was expecting an empty home.Then the add says 3 bedrooms, 2 of which only have enough space for the bed, side table and your bag. The other bedroom doesn't even have a door.The only AC in the unit is in one bedroom, so that door will have to stay open in order to keep the place cool. This AC is controlled by the owner upstairs, so you as the guest have no control of it.There is no furniture inside, beds and that is it.The patio has a spectacular view and is large and comfortable, with plenty of furniture outside. But the owner has patio directly above and has a dog that tends to urinate on the patio, which runs down and ends up on the rented patio. And if you are outside at the same time as the owner, it is uncomfortable, and naturally we tried to stay quiete so that our conversations were overheard. At several points of our 2 night stay, there was a sewage smell that lasted for at least a couple of hours each time.I don't like complaining, and i don't like highlighting negative things of anyone. But i feel it is important to let future renters know what to expect. All in all myself and my family made the best of the stay, we made some great memories and were able to relax.

Relaxing time with family

Our stay was exactly as we expected. The property and view was beautiful and clean. It was the perfect weekend getaway. Ray and Angela were the perfect hosts. They couldn't have been nicer. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.

Avoid if you want clean or like AC/moving air

My wife and 3 month old travelled down from Tennessee for a wedding and upon arrival we knew there was no way we could stay there. As soon as you walk in the door we were hit with hot stagnant air that unfortunately smelled like BO and pasta that had been left out for a week. On top of that there is no thermostat access to turn any air on. We had to leave in the middle of the night and scramble to find a hotel which was not ideal with a 3 month old. The owners response was “I went down there and it was fine, smelled like a freshly clean cabin” which is far from the truth and not very helpful

Our Family of 4 had so much fun kayaking and fishing. A great place to relax and we were able to relax and recharge! Ray and Angela were accessible and accommodating. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Stay on lake Jordan

House very small cramped. Had sewer gas smell at night and no indoor seating area. No privacy host has about ten cameras watching your every move annd live right above you not list in the Vrbo ad. About 30 mins away from any stores or restaurants.

Hidden Lakeside Cabin Gem

My husband and I truly enjoyed this remote and relaxing lakeside cabin! We came for the Talladega race, and good Southern food, and were absolutely taken with the beautiful lake and deck to enjoy coffee & sunrises. Ray is a gracious host and we loved taking the paddle boat out to goat island! We want to come back to this idyllic spot! We love Alabama!

July 4th Vacay

Very quiet on secluded cove. Terrific deck with two docks. Lots of furniture. Good fishing swimming or boating. We had a great time.

Awesome lake stay!

We had a small family vacation here and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with all the essentials. The deck is a hot spot for grilling, relaxing, and taking in the views. The pier and all the toys are the best part of the trip! We spent two days in the water and playing with everything. Goat island is just a few paddles away and the kids loved seeing them. We will be back for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The view is so beautiful in the morning and the sunset is breathtaking. Close to the boat ramp and right in front of your view is soon to be famous Goat Island ! Your can feed or just visit our 4 goats 😁
My property has 2 piers to park your boat if needed and power on big pier. It's not the Hilton but it's a laid back 1950's fishing cabin that's been converted into a cozy Abnb.
