A short walk to take a dip in the middle fork of the Black River. Four miles from Lesterville. 7 miles from Johnson shut ins.
Mark Twain National Forest a few miles away.
New carpet. New deck. Washer and dryer. Refrigerator and a new dishwasher.
Come relax and enjoy the country life. ❤️

This is a modular home, doublewide 28X60 = over 1500 sq feet of plush new carpet and relaxing space.

Excellent stay!

Our family had a wonderful experience! Wendy is very responsive, and Black River outfitter will come pick you up for her place and bring you back! We had a little trouble figuring out which place was ours since the photo of the property is of the old barn out front. Host is very responsive. Place was clean and smelled fresh! We had plenty of space for our group of 8. Bring your own crock pot or hot plates if you’re needing them. Kitchen has basics, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and stove top. This was a perfect break from camping and was great to have AC and HOT showers! River with a cute swim hole is about a 5 min walk or 1 min drive away!

This is a really clean and comfortable place to stay with the most welcoming, thoughtful host. We enjoyed the nearby swimming hole as well as the Shut-Ins.

Wonderful getaway

We had a great stay. Super cute country property. It was close to everything we needed. Our favorite part was the short walk to river from the property. It was exactly what we needed for our float trip getaway. The owner made everything easy and was very helpful. We will definitely be back!

Amazing

I dont even know how to describe how our stay was,but awesome and amazing! They were so nice and helped with anything that we needed and places to see. They were our tour guides answered any questions we had. The place is very clean,comfortable, inviting. We loved every minute there. Will definitely stay here again. The good mornings from Wendy made my day even better! Thank you for making us feel like family!

Fun times out doors.

Great location for an outdoor adventure We were able to hike in Johnson shut ins, fish /play in the black river, 4 wheel in Suttons Bluff and end the day around a campfire. House was as described. Owner was the next house over. So was available for any questions. Enjoyed meeting her dogs.

Wonderful place

Wendy and her son Stu were wonderful hosts. They gave use recommendations of what to see and do while on our stay. The house was central to everything we did. We will definitely go back.

Family trip to the shut inns

Wendy and Rick were absolutely amazing host the house was great and the property was outstanding the walk to the river and the swimming hole made the place that much better couldn’t ask for any better host they built us a fire so the kids could make s’mores we got some fresh vegetables from the garden we are so blessed we DEFINITELY will be back thanks for EVERYTHING And the hospitality

Had the Best time! Great location!

Wendy and Rick were amazing hosts! They were there for us from the moment we checked in throughout each day and helped us when we got stuck on the river. Their hospitality went above and beyond! The place was so roomy. The beds were so comfortable. We had so much space for the six of us to move about. We love the location and will definitely be back next year!

It was perfect for us. There was 6 of us. The host is very sweet. It was a very short drive to the company we float with. The location was perfect for what we were there for. Can’t wait for next years girls trip!

Amazing place close to the river

We had an amazing two night stay here with friends while in Lesterville for a float trip. The place was exactly as described, comfortable, had everything we needed, and very close to the river. We enjoyed spending time at the river prior to and after our float trip. The owner was quick to respond to all of our inquires and was very accommodating. We all already agreed that we would love to stay here next time we are down that way to float.

Great place to stay!

Property was clean and comfortable, location was perfect, owner was more than accommodating. The entire family was so appreciative of the kindness of the owner, we didn’t want to leave and certainly would stay again for our next annual float trip. ❤️

Great alternative to camping

Property was very clean and everything in working order exactly as described. Will definitely be here again if available next year for our annual float. Wendy was great and responded to our inquiries almost immediately. Extremely happy with the choice to stay with her property!

Labor day Side by Side riding

Owner was very communicative. Place was clean and as advertised, beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked and plenty of towels. would definitely stay here again
