Le Chalet des Cœurs - Avec vue montagne

In Xonrupt-Longemer, we offer you this charming 3-star-rated chalet with mountain views, less than a kilometre from the Xonrupt Longemer lake. It has a surface area of 110 m² and can accommodate up to 10 guests. It comprises a 33 m² living room, a semi-open, a fully-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms, a shower room and a 664 m² garden. Wifi (fibre optic) included, we're waiting for you!

The chalet is composed as follows:
Ground floor:
- A 33 m² living room with corner sofa, armchair, footstool, TV and pellet stove.
- A dining area with a large wooden table (2 extensions) seating 10 people and 10 wooden chairs for a good meal.
- A semi-open kitchen equipped with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- Bedroom 1: a 160cm double bed, storage cupboards, two bedside tables and a safe.
- A large cellar containing a washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge, coat rack, cleaning equipment and various raclette, crêpe and fondue machines... Skis can be stored in this area.
- A bathroom with a walk-in shower with different types of jets, a towel dryer, a changing table, a baby bath and a hairdryer.
- Separate WC

1st floor:
- Bedroom 2: a double bed (160cm), a cot, two bedside tables and storage units.
- Bedroom 3: a double bed (140cm), two bedside tables, an umbrella bed and a wardrobe.
- Bedroom 4: two single bunk beds and a single bed, for a total of 5 individual beds. Each bed has individual lighting.
- There is a wardrobe and a large cabinet filled with children's games, Lego and children's books.
- Separate WC

Outside:
- A beautiful south-east facing, private garden of 664 m² which is enclosed by a fence and the property is closed by a double-leaf gate. A barbecue is available.
There is an aluminium garden table that seats 10, 10 folding chairs, 2 armchairs and 2 sun loungers with sunshades.
An electric awning protects the terrace, as does a free-standing parasol.
A second small set of wrought iron garden furniture with a table and 2 benches can also be used near the barbecue.
Outdoor games (badminton rackets, skipping rope, petanque balls, balls, molkky, etc.) are available.
- Two of the bedrooms on the 1st floor have a 28 m² balcony facing south-east, with a view of the mountains.
- A large 40 m² terrace surrounds the chalet.

The chalet is ideally located in Xonrupt-Longemer, in a very pleasant and peaceful setting. All the essential shops are close at hand, including a bakery and grocery, a chemist, a butcher and delicatessen, a newsagent, tobacconist and accessories shop, and a post office.

Activities :
There is a wide range of activities, including sports, sightseeing and forest walks.
- Walks around the Xonrupt Longemer lake, which is great for swimming on sunny days, and also has a water sports centre with electric boats, paddles, canoes and pedalos for hire, as well as restaurants.
- The town of Gérardmer is 4 kilometres away, with its lake, electric boats, pedalos, pleasure boats, casino, spa complex with swimming pool, bowling alley, ice rink and wellness centre.
- There is also a sailing school on the lake, where you can learn to sail or paddle.
- You can also swim in Lake Gérardmer.
- Many factories and textile shops are also open to the public.
- The area is ideal for walking and cycling, as well as hiking and jogging.
- For mountain bikers and cyclists, there are numerous cycle paths and trails.
- In winter, there are numerous ski slopes nearby for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing.
- There are also plenty of places to visit, such as the candy factories that make Vosges sweets, goat farms, clog-making factories and mountain gardens, as well as walks in nearby Alsace (Colmar, Munster, Strasbourg, the wine route, etc.).

Nearby events :
- Daffodil Festival ( every 2 years), next April 2025, Gérardmer Triathlon, Fantastic Film Festival in January, Christmas markets, St Nicolas parade, listen to the stag roar in September....

Transport :
- 2 to 3 cars can be parked outside opposite the garage.
- Free parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the chalet.
- The nearest train stations are : Epinal, Remiremont, Saint-Dié, Colmar
- Strasbourg-Entzheim airport (1hr 30mins) - Mulhouse-Basel airport (1hr 30mins) - Nancy-Metz airport (1hr 30mins) - Colmar airport (1hr)
It's easiest to come by car, even if you don't need one during your stay.

- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at an additional cost (hire and payment to be made with our partner on site). The prices given are for information only and are subject to change by our partner.
- The pellet stove is operational. One bag is provided for stays of less than 7 nights and two bags for stays of more than 7 nights.
- A child's high chair is available.
- Free Wi-Fi available.
- Cleaning at the end of your stay includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
- Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
- All the owners are very keen to maintain peace and quiet in this area and do not accept any noise pollution, disturbance at night or disrespect for neighbours.
