Peaceful Loire Valley Fig Tree Cottage

Welcome to the Fig Tree Cottage, an old stone farmhouse which is situated in a small village near the historical medieval town of Loudun. The cottage is the perfect Loire Valley home for everyone in the family! Visit the nearby historical cities of Chinon, Saumur, Thouars and Poitiers. It's also very easy to visit the nearby waterpark at Centre Parcs - Le Bois aux Daims or a day trip to Futuroscope or Puy du Fou.

The cottage is in an old stone farmhouse is situated on our 19th century property. Now completely renovated, your home away from home is located on the ground floor.

The living space features a fully equipped American kitchen, a dining nook from where you can enjoy your meals and a lounge area, complete with a sofa bed and a TV. Take advantage of the reading corner with a quaint view of the gardens.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed where you can rest after a long day of meandering around the region. It also features a desk area where you can do some light working if you so desire, a large walk in closet to store your clothes and belongings and a bathroom with a shower.

Right outside the cottage is a table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy a mid afternoon apéro or an evening meal.
