Rental Unavailable

I did not stay in the rental. The place was in habited.currently going thru a claim to reimburse the funds since I did not stay in the rental. The reimbursement process is painful.

Cancelled our stay AFTER we arrived at the property!

We had the property booked and ready to go. I messaged on Vrbo, called the phone number, then texted that same number, and knocked on the door we had booked. Finally we received a message on Vrbo. She had said she booked a long term renter and then cancelled our reservation on the spot. We then had to scramble to find a place to stay! I would have a back up plan if you are wanting to book this property because it’s very possible your reservation will be cancelled very last minute!

Cheap place

Terrible location, construction everywhere. Parking gate broken so car was not in a secure place. Homeless people in the neighborhood. Cheaply renovated. Entire building stinks of mold. Bed is crap. Overall poor experience. I checked out a day early due to the conditions.

Communication w the owner was on point. I had a few comcerns about the cleanliness of the property when i went to use a pot and there were noodles stuck to it. Throw pillows need some refreshing but all in all these were minor.

Ehhh

This wasn’t a terrible place to stay, but we did have a few issues with our stay. There wasn’t any toilet paper or food when the host says in her welcome message to enjoy the snacks provided. Also, the power (in only this unit)was out for a full day.

Disappointed with communication

We were informed two hours before that it was double booked but this wasn't until multiple phone calls and messages with the owner. We wouldn't have known if we hadn't persisted in calling. We did get our refund but were disappointed in the lack of communication.

Cancelled for no reason

She cancelled as we were landing!! No response why just cancelled. Not professional at all we had to find last minute arrangements after landing! Horrible treatment of a potential customer.

Brief Review: - Overall Poor communication w/ Host -Unkempt VRBO •Kitchen: blue stains and pre opened food tossed into the cabinets. Stove dirty, dishwasher w/ standing water at the bottom & counters also appeared dirty. •Hair and stains on sheets •Mold/Feeces in Toilet •Hair on the toilet seat •Sticky floors •Dryer filled with items & hair hanging from dryer door •Furniture worn,dirty & stained -Refused to provide FULL refund after proof was provided that we the) stayed in hotel due cleanliness concerns. See below for additional details: Prior to our arrival we seen that Dallas was expecting Freezing temps so I reached out to confirm if the residence had extra blankets & confirm winter supplies if needed. No response/contact in 2-3 days so VRBO was contacted to ensure there weren't any issues with our reservation & to get us in contact with Host. After contacted by VRBO,Host responded to my question immediately. I then followed up with additional questions & received no answer(s) from Host. Before our flight I had to contact Host because we hadn't received our check in information. The Host provided information making the check in process the BEST & ONLY GOOD part of this respective VRBO location. Once we entered the residence at first glance it appeared ok but as we prepared for a store run we noticed the concerns mentioned above. We reached out to Host she mentioned items usually remaining in the dryer and said "If you would like to do laundry please put them in the closet". She mentioned the place should've been cleaned in attempts to persuade me that the things we were looking at weren't real or dirty. After discussing concerns with my Fiancé and telling the host; we confirmed we weren't staying. The Hosts' sole counter offer was to mop the floor (dismissing the other concerns). We unfortunately had to get a hotel room despite originally paying for the VRBO. We provided Host proof (of hotel confirmation) that we didn't not stay at her residence night one or the duration of our trip and she Refused to issue us a FULL refund. VRBO customer service agents were notified & emphasized the Host would contact us regarding refund. She NEVER called, responded via App & FAILED to pick up our call once VRBO provided her contact information to us. She has still failed to provide a FULL refund or an apology for the state of her rental property & failure to communicate with the guests afterwards.

best stay ever!

this place was stunning! I was able to cook a huge dinner and see my family that I haven't seen in over a decade! the decorations were so pretty and gave us a vacation vibe for sure!
