Two bedroom condo lots of light overlooking Vineyard Haven harbor. Ten minute WALK to the ferry, town, local restaurants and town beach. Outdoor pool on the property for guests. Bright living room with plenty of seating for up to 4 people. Outdoor deck with dining table and view of the water. Water views from deck, living room, and primary bedroom. AC in both bedrooms July 1 - Sept 5. Second floor on exterior stairs. Quiet condo association. One parking spot provided. for non commercial vehicles only. Easy walk to local buses and taxis come to house. No need for a car if u can’t get a ferry reservation.

Amazing place in an amazing location!!

We have rented many VRBOs and Leah’s was one of our favorites so far! A cozy place in a perfect spot on the vineyard! Leah was am amazing host and extremely helpful! An overall great find!

1st trip on the island after many years

We had a lovely time in the cottage . The kids enjoyed the pool and having dinner in the evening in the terrace with view of the water . Leah was quick to communicate with us and made our stay memorable .

Accurately portrayed

Very nicely furnished, very clean, freshly painted, beautiful view of harbor, great location, quiet neighbors, very nice pool and really enjoyed wine on the deck under the stars. Leah was very responsive and attentive. We will be back!

lovely place, great location

unfortunate that there was an unexpected, unpreventable plumbing emergency, and I couldn't actually stay there. the place was wonderful, and Leah went above and beyond any expectations by helping me find another place to stay and being such a good person, even giving me a ride to the miraculously found last minute hotel. thanks for not letting me have to sleep on the beach🤣

I wish I stayed home

In terms of the positive I will say generally Leah is very nice and supportive. As well, the price was great. Due to how good the price was, I was initially ready to overlook the tears in the furniture, pulled off tile in the bathroom, old musty smell in the apartment, broken drawers in the refrigerator, dead pixels in the bedroom TV, cabinets that don’t close due to warping, wicker coffee table with staples poking out that my husband had to poke down after they scratched my child, and spot in the bathtub that dips when you step on it (sounding like you might fall through to the second floor). All of these things, to me, feel they make sense in terms of the price as well as Leah’s friendly attitude. What did not make sense to me was that the condo title, description, and amenities all highlighting a pool on site; which was the only filter I used when searching for a vacation rental. This is because I am a social worker in a health center setting and have not had a vacation since 2019, when my youngest was still an infant. For this reason it was very important to me that we have a pool to start teaching my toddler to swim as a part of our vacation. When we arrived the pool was closed and I asked the owner if she had a sense of when it would open. She made it sound as if we were insane to expect an open pool during the last week of May. She then changed the property description on Vrbo to indicate the pool would only be open June-September, which she admitted to us over the phone. As a result of her changing the website description, when we attempted to contact Vrbo they said they were unable to track changes, but as it currently says the pool is unavailable they were unable to offer us a refund or relocation. Instead, the host let us know about a local pool which charged $13 per child and $18 per adult all per day which I paid to ensure my children had the vacation they expected. Ultimately I was beyond disappointed with this stay and the customer service of Vrbo and the host. As the cherry on top when we cleaned the apartment to we found a live cockroach in the trash. I would recommend you thoroughly vet any amenities and get all correspondence in writing as Vrbo favors the renter.

Great Place!

Great place and location! Super clean and the place has a nice vibe. A short walk into the sweet town of Vineyard Haven. Pool was nice and not crowded during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the place and will return!

This place is a hidden gem. The deck has a harbor view and we loved having coffee and dinners out there. The place is quaint with character. It is an older property but was updated and decorated nicely. The bedspreads are pretty and the beds and pillows are comfortable. Lots of towels and extra blankets. Kitchen had everything we needed. The wild turkeys roaming the area were fun to watch. The pool was so clean and well-kept. People there were friendly. You can walk to Vineyard Haven. Try Nat's Nook and Waterside. Leah was easy to communicate with and very nice. Really can't say enough great things about this place.

Nice Rental close to town.

We had a nice relaxing vacation here. Leah was great and took care of any minor issues we had. The pool was closed during our stay (out of Leah's control) but she offered us a nice alternative at a local hotel pool and refunded us some cash. The condo association did eventually reopen the pool. The property was clean (no bugs), had very comfortable beds, cable TV, AC in the bedrooms, and a nice kitchen with all necessary supplies cook with. The balcony was a nice spot for morning coffee where you could see the ocean peeking through the trees and listen to the birds sing and the ferry blow. The property Is close to bus stop and grocery store if you don't bring a car. Many nice beaches and restaurants nearby. Great for anyone who needs a quiet get away!

Overall Nice Stay

Overall, our small family enjoyed our stay at this property. Our visit took place over a week in August and Leah was a responsive, friendly, and welcoming host. Very easy check in, check out. When our ferry came in early, Leah was able to offer us an early check in, which we appreciated. The property had a beautiful view over the harbor, a nice outdoor space to eat, and a community pool that was fun for our kids. We found the interior to be rather weathered and run-down, which was different than what we expected given the pictures on the site and how much money we paid per night. We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the apartment however, so this was not a big deal for us (except for the condition of the shades in the bedrooms, which Leah helped to fix once we contacted her). We thank Leah for her support during our stay and wish her the best of luck moving forward.

This spot is ideal for people who enjoy walking to town. You can walk from the ferry in Vineyard Haven. As car ferry reservations get harder to come by renting a home that doesn't require a car is ideal. The home provides amazing views of the sunrise from your primary bedroom right over the lagoon, the deck is perched up on a hill so the view of the harbor is lovely to enjoy. There is a pool on the premises, great for kids or anyone who wants to cool off during summer.
