New chalet for 10–12 people surrounded by nature, with panoramic views of the lake

The Lac des Estives estate is located in the Parc des Volcans in Haute Auvergne, on the Cézallier plateau, on the border between Cantal and Puy de Dôme. Its central position will allow you to easily visit Auvergne, its lakes and volcanoes.

It is an atypical environment that awaits you at the end of the road: the estate is in the middle of the summer pastures at an altitude of 1220 m. You will be immersed in a setting close to Scottish lands and Mongolia. The panorama is grandiose with the view of the Sancy massif and the Monts du Cantal.

The Chalet "CANADA" is located on a 9ha property. It is the only accommodation on the edge of a 3ha lake where only whip fly fishing is practiced.

The 114m² chalet is on one level, it is composed of a living room with living room and sofa bed, dining room and open kitchen, 3 bedrooms (mattress protectors, pillows and duvets provided), 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets, terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.

The estate is equipped with a 7x14m heated and covered swimming pool (open from April to October), a petanque court, a games room (wifi, billiards, ping-pong table, table football, wooden games, library), a games library.

Summer:
Free activities: boat trip on the lake, crayfish fishing, screening of a film in our cinema, treasure hunt.

In winter, you can go sledging and snowshoeing from the area (on site: loan of snowshoes and sledges). The ski resort of Super-Besse is located 40 minutes away by car.

The Lac des Estives can also be the centre of your green holidays, the nature is magnificent and preserved (Natura 2000 Zone), there are many walks and hikes (Saillant waterfall 45 minutes walk, Mont Chamaroux: 3h30 round trip, GR30). The high plateaus of the Cézallier offer total darkness, this territory is ideal for stargazing.

We offer you an option for sheets at 12€/bed, for towels at 6€/person, as well as for cleaning 120 € (stay 1 to 2 nights), 180€ (stay of 3 nights and +).

These options are to be paid on site on the day of arrival.
