We enjoyed this property so much! My 15 year old son loved fishing in the pond. Everything was well taken care of, and had everything we could have needed. Very clean! Will definitely book again in the future.

Loved the property. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Location was close to Hochatown’s shops and restaurants, while still feeling remote. The property’s outdoor amenities included decks, a fire pit, a pond and plenty of parking space.

Our stay was exactly what we needed - relax & reset. The home was clean, comfortable & equipped with all the things. The patio/pond creates a peaceful atmosphere that allows us to unwind. We’ve stayed here several times & are reminded why we keep coming back. The homeowners want you to enjoy their space. They are kind & welcoming. We look forward to the next time.

Overall, the cabin itself was wonderful—very clean, comfortable, well maintained, and a beautiful property. Unfortunately, our biggest disappointment was the advertised catch-and-release fishing pond.The fishing pond was actually the main reason we chose this cabin over other properties. We were traveling with my elderly father and specifically wanted a place where he could easily enjoy fishing without having to navigate difficult terrain or travel elsewhere.Unfortunately, we were not able to have the fishing experience we expected. We tried fishing, but the turtles repeatedly took our bait, and there was so much grass and debris in the pond that our lines continually became caught. We only saw one very small perch during our stay and numerous turtles.Because the catch-and-release pond is specifically advertised as an amenity, we feel it could use some attention and maintenance, possibly including clearing some of the vegetation and debris, managing the turtle population, and stocking the pond with fish suitable for catch-and-release fishing.Had fishing not been such an important part of our trip, we would have had very few complaints because the cabin itself was lovely. However, we specifically chose and paid for this property largely because of the fishing pond, so not being able to enjoy that experience was a significant disappointment.

Having stayed at many Broken Bow cabins over the years I have to give Whispering Retreat a very high rating. The cabin is very clean and very well-equipped. Very expansive Master bed/bath downstairs. The pond was very nice and close to the house and our grands really enjoyed fishing. The cabin is in a great location just off the main highway with quick access back to Hocha and all of the town activities. The property host Frank is very communicative and responsive if needed.

Fall Break

We had a relaxing time over Fall Break. The cabin had all the amenities plus extras like a s’mores kit for the kids. Great furnishings and cabin was clean and in great shape. We will definitely be back.

Amazing

This was the best little cabin. We did not want to leave! The amenities were above and beyond ! Robes to wear, toiletries available down to bubble bath and mouth wash! Decorations so cute! Right on a pond and close to town! Great location for food and dessert! Only thing is backyard not really secluded from others when in hot tub, or Sitting at the fire. Would stay again and definitely recommend!

Beautiful cabin!

We’ve been coming to Broken Bow for years now. We travel from Texas at least couple times per year. We’ve seen many beautiful cabins but this one out did everything above expectations!! Frank was very attentive from time we arrived checking to see if there was anything we needed. We were very pressed with everything. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous cabin

We booked for the fish& my son had his poll in the water from the moment we checked in.The cabin didn’t disappoint. Not only was it beautiful but everything promised by the host was honored. This is a clean beautiful property that is managed. Our family has worked so hard for the past few years to build our life that we have sacrificed time with each other. This spot was the perfect spot to gain back some of that time. Total fish count 7! Thanks Frank!

Great Cabin with Amazing Amenities

We picked this cabin because it was very beautiful and had a pond with fish. The pond was awesome!! Every kid caught a fish (we used chicken as bait) from small fish to catfish. The bunk room was comfortable for the kids, we all enjoyed the games, the communication from the host was awesome. Would definitely come back!

Perfect cabin for my family!

When we chose this cabin, we picked it for our kids to be able to fish on the days we wanted to lay around and do nothing. My husband and I ended up spending the majority of each day trying to catch a fish, while battling it out with the turtles that made it almost impossible. After 3.5 days we finally figured it out! We shared so many laughs over this experience and are already planning another trip! The cabin is in a quiet area, clean, and fully stocked with everything needed. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, we brought 2 plus a party barge with plenty of room to spare. We are looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The fishing pond provided entertainment for everyone throughout the entire stay. The property is one of the most pet and kid friendly properties we have stayed at. We will be returning in the future.

Frank was courteous and quick to respond. The cabin rules were simple yet efficient to make the stay enjoyable for the next guest. Not only was the cabin and amenities nice, the build and location of the property was terrific. 10/10 recommend in staying in one of Frank’s cabins. Thanks again!

Family Trip

We had the best time at your beautiful home. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch every morning with the pond view. We relaxed, laughed, played corn hole by the fire pit, fished & fished & fished.
