Paved driveway for safe storage for your boat, UTV's, ATV's, or snowmobile's. Public beach only a few blocks away. Public boat launch and public golf courses within 5 minutes drive, disc golf only a mile to the west within community park. Great ATV/UTV and snowmobile trails just minutes away.

This was by far the best pet accommodations i have experienced. Host was wonderful and alot of things needed on hand. Kitchen appliances were not laxking at all. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The house was very clean and the owner had great communication. Plenty of games if there are rainy days, plus a fenced yard for our dogs. We would stay there again.

Nice little place

We spent our days away from the home but it had everything we needed and was in a quiet location. I would recommend cleaning the couches better as they smelled really bad of pets.

Houghtons Cleanest House

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. I will be back again. The host was easy to reach and had zero issues.

Liked the fenced in Yard.

Great house. Highly recommend. We used the fire pit everyday and night. Very pet friendly.

Excellent place to stay!!!

I would highly recommend staying here, it’s clean and well kept. Plenty of room for two adults and 3 kids. We will definitely be staying here again next year!!!!

Weekend getaway

We love staying here! This is probably the 4th or 5th time booking this home. It’s perfect, especially if you have fur babies. It’s so nice to have a fenced in yard. Perfect for people with side by sides. You can get to all the trails right from the house. We will be back!

Perfect House, Great Location

Perfect little house for our weekend getaway. House was exactly as pictured and provided a cozy environment. It is conveniently located near a few restaurants and bars as well. Communication with owner was easy and he was very responsive. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend and stay again.

Had a great time!

This place had everything we needed for a place to relax and sleep between other activities. Checking in and out was easy, and everything was clean and organized. The backyard was a plus and gave us a place to relax in the evenings.

Awesome Rental

Overall very impressed! The home was very clean and had all of the household essentials you needed. The back yard being fully fenced in was a huge plus for bringing your dogs! We will absolutely book again.

Nice little cottage

Nice little cottage for the family to stay in. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and is well kept. The owners definitely take care of the place and provided everything and more for their guests. Would recommend staying here. I personally didn’t care for the town but that is no fault of the owners.

Perfect House

We had the best time enjoying the beautiful fall colors and wonderful weather for our annual ladies weekend together! The house was perfect and clean and close to town for us to enjoy the restaurants and bars. We walked down to the water each morning to enjoy the beauty. We would definitely stay again, thank you for opening your beautful home to us!

Great location/property

This is our second time renting this property this year. The Houghton Lake area has so much to offer and the location of this property is perfect. Near the water and not far from town or trails, we find this property to be very convenient. The property owner is great to work with and always very timely on the rental processes. The house is very nice. Much bigger inside than it looks. Plenty of room for all with two bedrooms for a total of six beds. The backyard offers some privacy with fencing all around, nice fire pit and newly added lighting. If you are visiting the area to do some trail riding, water sports or simply to enjoy the town…you can’t go wrong with this property. We will be back.

Cozy home!

This place had everything you need and some extras. The home was very comfortable and the backyard is a great space for relaxing in the evenings. Loved that there was a doggie door and a fenced in back yard! Location was great too!

Renovated cottage near the lake

This cottage is entirely renovated and did so an amazing way to maximize the small space! I stayed with my spouse and 2 toddlers, but considering it again for a girls weekend with 5 adults, which would still be enough space. They allow dogs which fit what we needed and was still very clean! I loved the outdoor space with a hammock, fire pit with plenty of chairs and patio set. The outdoor lighting completed the space perfectly. The location is can't beat! Short walk to neighborhood park with playground equipment and a beach. Short drive to restaurants and other park/beaches. Close proximity to save a lot and 10 min drive to wal mart. Appreciated the supplied cleaning supplies, trash bags, hand soaps, etc. I loved the rain shower! No bathtub for toddlers but they loved the shower as much as i did! Jonathan was quick to respond to questions! I would recommend 100%
