300 Steps to the Emerald Beach

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is just 300 steps to the emerald coast beaches of Destin Florida. The private beach access and availability of beach services will make your day at the beach a breeze. This unit is conveniently located between the Destin Harbor Walk which offers charter fishing, rental boats, jet skies, and access to the world famous Crab Island. Equal distance to Sandestin’s Baytowne Wharf, a fun filled day of outdoor adventures for the whole family. The unit is surrounded by great beach front dining and access to all the local seafood you can eat, or cook at home with the fully equipped kitchen this unit offers. If a quiet day relaxing by the heated pool is in your plans, it just a few steps away from the front door.

The unit sleeps 8, comfortably with 3 queen size beds and a queen pullout sofa. Cathedral ceilings provide a wide open feel. To make your vacation even easier we provided a closet full of beach chairs, beach toys, a cooler and a beach wagon to carry all the gear in. Also provided are tennis rackets for use at the our courts.

Your evenings will be filled with fireworks, live music, night life and all the amenities Destin has to offer. We hope you enjoy your stay!

We had a great stay! Our unit was within walking distance of the beach, but one of the pluses was that we had everything we needed for our days spent at the beach provided for us. No need to pack sand/water toys, chairs, and wagon.

Cute condo walking distance to beach

This is a cute place that slept seven comfortably. The pool was nice. We enjoyed the pickleball courts. It’s a very short walk to the beach. Destin beaches are gorgeous. Close proximity to stores, restaurants, and various attractions.

Review

We feel the picture for the condo was misleading. We thought we would be staying on the beach but instead we had to walk across the street to get to the beach. The condo is close to 2 awesome restaurants which we loved but no local shopping near by. The guest bathtub leaked water the whole time. The furniture needs to be cleaned and was not very comfortable. There was not any basic condiments to start with and nearest grocery store is a 50 min walk.

Great location!

Great location in the heart of Destin with close beach access and good amenities. We only stayed for a night before catching our flight but would recommend if you’re looking to stay in Destin.

Spring Break with the Family

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. Andrew was so easy to work with. He was responsive and super helpful. We loved that there were tennis and pickleball rackets and galls to us. Thanks for a great place for us to have our vacation!

A lovely place to escape to

The condo is beautiful and was very clean and comfortable. I can’t think of one bad thing to say. We explored gorgeous beaches and marinas, restaurants. We shopped and just relaxed in the condo and on the patio. The weather was mostly in the 60s, good for everything we wanted to do. We did not swim but had our feet in the heated pool and the gulf. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us.

Short walk to the beach. Furniture in the living room could use some updating. The couch is very uncomfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. The pool is not heated.

First Trip to Destin

Property and location were excellent. Family especially enjoyed the kids beach toys and beach chairs provided. There was timely communication with the host and the issue experienced during our stay was resolved quickly by the property manager.

Great for a family stay, convenient and close to the beach

We really enjoyed the condo. Out the gate Andrew was easy to communicate with. He was forthcoming about the property and my questions about the area & the best way to rent equipment we needed for our infant. The check in process was extremely easy & painless but Andrew made sure to make himself available. He also lists all needed info re: the property (exact location, name of residence, parking etc.) so I had all the details needed. Andrew was also extremely responsive when additional questions came up. The property is very close to the beach, less than a 10 minute walk. This is its biggest draw. The beach is private so much less crowded than other areas. We also appreciated the beach wagon and beach amenities provided bc we went to the beach each day. Recommend renting some kind of canopy or tent as this is not an amenity included. This unit is right next to the pool and laundry room which was really convenient as a family of 8 staying. You need quarters or an app for laundry. The one draw back to being by the pool is noise, which you can hear from the balcony/master, which we had the babies crib in. For baby rental items we used BabyQuip & Catherine was great and was familiar with the property. She had no problem working with Andrew & the property manager Kelley. 5/5 stay! Very few critiques: update to welcome manual, seems old. Extra essentials like trash bags, TP, pillows, blankets for sofa bed (which Kelley did provide after a prompt response from Andrew). Thanks Andrew

Great Condo, close to be beach

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. We had five people and there was plenty of space. The walk to the beach was short and we loved that there was a wagon, chairs and other beach items. Location wasn't too busy and there are even a few restaurants within walking distance. The condo was clean, decorated nicely with a beach theme and the owner, Andrew, was easy to work with. Check in and check out were a breeze. The weather wasn't always the best while we were there so we took advantage of the game closet. Kitchen was also well stocked with dishes, pots and pans that allowed us to make some meals at the Condo instead of always eating out. We would definitely stay there again and reccomend to friends and family.

Growing up on the beaches Cape Cod Massachusetts, spending time fishing, boating and swimming with my grandfather and later my 3 sons has led to my love for the ocean. My beautiful wife of 30+ years (Kristyn) and I have had the privilege of visiting and living near some of most beautiful beaches in the country. We have enjoyed such beaches as Waikiki, the black sand beaches of Maui, Siesta Key, Key Largo, South Beach, Venice, and many stops along the pacific coast hwy. The very first day of our first trip to Destin looking out over the emerald Coast we knew we would want to establish ourselves here. Unfortunately, my profession does not afford us the opportunity to live here fulltime. The ocean is a beautiful thing that should be shared with all that wish to experience it. For that reason, we have chosen to share this property with those lucky enough to visit it. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

My wife and I often sit overlooking the beach drinking a frozen cocktail and debating the fact that it is truly 300 steps from the front door to toes in the water. She is 6 inches short than me and says its 321 steps. 300 sounds better so I go with it. This unit has a gated beach access for the residence. The complex is not a huge commercial condominium so there is always plenty of room on our beach. If you enter the beach though the gate and take 2 steps to the right you are on the white sand beach in Destin If you turn left then you're on the white sand beach of Miramar, either way you are surrounded by the emerald waters. This location makes it all worth it. We could not have gotten luckier finding it. Don't miss the opportunity.

Nothing to bring, beach chairs, cooler, sand toys, and a wagon to pull it all are provided. If the pool is your thing, it's deep and heated and right out the back door. Multiple waterfront restaurants or cook in the fully equipped Kitchen. Shopping, nightlife, live music and oh Ya did mention the beach? Enough said!
