Holly Hollow , part of our Professional Designer Series, is just stunning with 2 bedrooms/2 bath, fenced area, hot tub, firepit, Covered porch, lounging deck and it is secluded. All roads are paved to this Cherry Log cabin. Perfect for 2 couples. This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25).and please no cats owner is highly allergic. We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

We needed a weekend getaway to refresh and reset. This cabin was the perfect place to do just that. We brought our furbaby with us and all 3 of us were very comfortable. If we decide to come back to this area, we will book here, again, if available.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Who stayed in many different homes offered by Sliding Rock cabins. I feel like this is the first one we stayed on that had paved roads. Cabin was nice and clean and well appointed, one of the benefits of the fact that it's up for sale. We were comfortable and found it relaxing. The only downsides were the neighbor to the right, at the bottom of the hill. They were quiet until 10:00 11:00 at night and then they were outside being rowdy and making noise (it sounded like shotguns two of of our three nights there). Also would have been nice if there was a blanket on the bed. Just a sheet and a comforter that is fancy with rough embroidery work that you can't use as a blanket. I'm always cold, so luckily I brought my own blanket for the trip, so I just used it. Hubby's always hot, so he was okay just wrapping up in a sheet. It was odd though not to have a blanket. Appeared to be a down-type comforter blanket on the other bed that we could use, but we didn't want to strip that bed and make more work for housekeeping. I will say the chiggers are terrible! I covered myself in Deep Woods Off Sportsman for chiggers, and I came back with 10 bites. It's almost like the bug spray was inviting them to me LOL. As always though we had a great day and Sliding Rock cabins is always a fantastic company to deal with!

Easy to get to and close to what you need. We hiked every day - about an hour drive east and south - a beautiful drive. So many trails to experience!

Nice & cozy

It was a very nice & clean cabin. This will sound weird, but i study the interior pictures before booking. We have a dog that is scared to walk on slick floors. The pictures showed lots of area rugs. We open the door & see NO rugs. Not a single one. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

It was very clean, well stocked with essentials and a open, spacious floorplan. For two to four people, you can't ask for more. Everything worked and our rental agency was very responsive and inquired as to our satisfaction almost immediately after we checked in. We will enjoy returning!

And, as always, Sliding Rock was amazing to work with. We actually had booked another cabin, but due to weather, was questionable for access even with 4WD. They recommended this cabin and we could not have been happier! Sliding Rock has always come through for us and we very much appreciate their incredible customer service.

Booked because of "paved roads" to the cabin.

After booking, there was a snow storm warning so I decided to lose two days to be safe. The staff was friendly and changed my booking out an extra day which I did not ask them to do, but I felt was kind and the right thing to do. I was traveling alone with my dog. While I know friends in Blue Ridge, I wasn't sure if they would stop in to pick me up for dinner, so had to list them, their name, ages, vehicles they drive, etc. Booking alone was so much stress I should have known that this would not end well. Their rental agreement which I signed in many forms several times, stated that they are not responsible for bad directions, blaming GPS, but their directions were no better, they were not responsible for bad weather, or no cell service. This would seem reasonable if you had been traveling several times a year in the mountains, for several years, and never were restricted from getting to your cabin by a thick sheet of ice on a steep mountain road, while driving a four wheel drive truck and sliding backwards down the road. There was no cell phone connection, so I was completely alone with my dog and had no idea how long I'd be stuck there. After over an hour a nice man got me out and I luckily, found a dog friendly hotel in downtown Blue Ridge because I was never able to get to the cabin due to ice covered roads for the remainder of my stay.

Absolutely perfect!

We went for a long weekend with friends and everything was perfect from the amenities to the location. We visited Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and drove one day to Dahlonega. We were a little early for the leaves changing; however, the scenery is breath taking all year long. Will definitely return!

Great ozy place

The cabin was in great shape and the stay was enjoyable. It was perfectly located to do the things we wanted as well as do nothing but relax. Only complaint would be the internet as it was not strong enough to stream or do things as simple as facebook. Therewas cable TV

Can you rent perfection?

We stayed at Holly Hollow for a little over three weeks and loved it the entire time. The house is beautifully built, furnished and decorated, and we had everything we needed to call it home. I was amazed at the craftsmanship of this Sisson home… so many extras, so much storage area, so comfortable for all of us, which includes our 6 yr old mini poodle.How nice to discover such a beautiful cabin that is dog friendly! Sliding Rock Cabins could not have been easier to work with ! They were responsive to every request and attentive to each phone call, text, or email . I hope we can return someday.We live in southwest Florida, so coming to the mountains was a refreshing respite from the heat and humidity we endure during the summer. It was all close to perfection!

We had a good time at Holly Hollow cabin. Peaceful and beautiful location. Cabin was clean inside, however, the living room rugs had strong smell of dog urine. The outside space was not what we expected concerning cleanliness, which prevented us from enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level with plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My only hesitation in highly recommending this cabin is that it might not be available the next time we want to go back to the mountains! Sliding Rock is always professional and we highly recommend them also.

So nice to be able to bring our fur babies and have them experience something new as well. Our only complaint was the fact that if you are elderly you cannot get to the fire pit or the hot tub as the stairs are much too steep. With that said we would recommend the cabin to those able to get around much easier.
