The dream home Villa Celta is located on a mountain near Tavira, overlooking everything. From here, you can overlook large parts of the Eastern Algarve, and although you don't really need much more than to gaze out at the sea and across the Serra all day long, Villa Celta also offers many other amenities...

The living area is on the first floor of the villa, built in 2003. Three large patio doors lead outside from the semi-circular living room with a dining table, allowing plenty of light and air into the room. The open, rustic kitchen adjoins the living room. Under the granite lintel of the former ruin is a state-of-the-art stove with gas and electric burners, as well as a convection electric oven. A large refrigerator, a small dishwasher, and an unforgettable view while working in the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. The first floor also houses a small office, a guest toilet with a shower, and two covered terraces.
Three bedrooms and a large bathroom with a corner bathtub and shower are located on the ground floor. For larger groups of up to 8 people, the attic can be rented, where there is an additional bedroom, a small living room, and a shower room. These rooms are accessed via the top roof terrace, from which you can also enjoy the most amazing view.

All rooms of Villa Celta are equipped with air conditioning and fly screens. For the colder seasons, there is also a fireplace in the living room. Internet access, international TV, a washing machine, a garage, an electric gate, and a brick barbecue with an outdoor sink complete the high level of comfort. Not to be forgotten is the 8 x 4.5 meter saltwater pool with a depth of up to 2.20 meters. The large dolphin shower right next to the pool also provides refreshment! Free from the neighbours' prying eyes, there are various seating and lounging areas on the property, and of course, that unforgettable view...

Idyllic holiday location

Villa Celta looks great in the photos but it's even better in real life. The location is remote with 360° incredible views. Yet all a quick car ride from gorgeous Tavira. We loved our holiday here.

My stay in tavira

Im very pleased with the property i rented in tavira, it had the best views and was a very peaceful place to stay, would most definitely recommend and rent it again if ever possible. Also very grateful to jens and heidi as they were very helpful with the whole process and even though i was late for check in jens was very lovely and took his time do show me around the whole house before leaving the keys with me overall im very pleased.

Great place for a relaxing holiday in the Algarve

A wonderful week, but all too short, at Villa Celta. The Villa, sitting on the very top of one of the foothills at the back of East Algarve town of Tavira, provides spectacular uninterrupted 360º views of the East Algarve coastline and Ocean to the South, valleys and hills to the North, West and East. The historic coastal town of Tavira, with its museums, historical buildings, archaeological sites, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping center, cultural events and medical center, if needed, was readily and easily accessed within 15 minutes on a well maintained road winding down from the foothills through the beautiful green valley floor with it’s Orange orchards accompanying the river before reaching the town of Tavira. The coastline in this area is the home to the nature reserve of Rio Formosa with long fine sandy beaches. The beaches are clean and well served with various amenities but are extensive enough to find space far from the crowds. The ocean in this area is clear and calm with very pleasant temperatures in the summer months. The nature reserve and beaches were also easily accessed with a short car ride from the Villa. The hill range to the back of the Villa is extensive and was very interesting area to explore with different viewing points, villages, places to eat, areas of natural beauty, historical and archaeological sites of interest. Villa Celta itself was a fantastic place of peace and quiet. It is not overlooked with the nearest neighbours several hundreds of metres away in the surrounding hills. The Villa, pool, surrounding terraces and gardens are a high standard of design and construction and well maintained. The Villa was clean and well equipped with everything needed, e.g. washing machine, kitchen utensils, crockery ect... to facilitate our stay. On a number of days we were happy just to spend the day relaxing, taking in the views, eating, and enjoying the Villa and its pool. The agency managing the Villa, Visit EastAlgarve, Jens and Heidi, were friendly and attentive providing excellent service throughout the booking process and during our stay. Villa Celta is an ideal combination of isolation in the hills with peace and tranquillity whilst only a short car ride from the towns and beaches of the Algarve with all their convenience and associated activities and amenities. Certainly recommend Villa Celta as a place for a relaxing holiday in the East Algarve

Entspannte Tage an der Algarve

Wir hatten 2 Traumhafte Wochen an der Argarve. Das Haus war super und top ausgestattet. Alles sauber, eine wunderschöner Pool, malerische Aussicht, mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen. Auch die Abgeschiedenheit war sehr schön, man konnte nach einem Strand- oder Stadtbesuch sehr schön entspannen. Jens und Heide waren immer für alles da, falls man Fragen hatte.

Toller Aufenthalt in Traumlage

Maison au Paradis

Nous avons adoré séjourné dans cette magnifique maison, qui est idéale pour des vacances et se reposer. La vue à 360° est dingue, et les couchers de soleil différents chaque soir. Cuisine très bien équipée ! A chaque repas nous changions de terrasse :)

Schöne Villa inmitten der Natur

Wir durften eine Woche lang in dieser schönen Villa die Sonne Portugals genießen. Das Haus liegt hoch oben auf einem Hügel, super Aussicht, absolut privat und ohne direkte Nachbarn. Gerade mit einer größeren Gruppe eignet sich die Villa Celta sehr gut, da das Haus so geschnitten ist, dass jede:r genügend Privatsphäre genießen und sich auch mal zurückziehen kann. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und alles ausreichend vorhanden. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen, von Grillstation bis Pool inklusive Dusche haben wir nichts vermisst. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Este alojamento é pura tranquilidade. Para quem procura o sossego, é o ideal mas, estamos perto da "civilização"...a 10 minutos de carro. Estão disponíveis todos os utensílios para uso. Excelente casa e o proprietário é extremamente simpático. Gostámos muito.

Amazing place! The view is incredible

The pool was really great, the house is spacious and very clean. We had a really good time there. A few tips:The dolphinshower contains a wasp nest that should be looked at and pay attention that the 4th bedroom need to be asked for seperately.

Best view in town

We enjoyed our stay in this nice located villa on the hill. We liked the view on all sides of the house and found everything we needed for our stay. The pool is nice and warm and the kitchen well sorted with a lot of things. We hope to come back again.

Vista inacreditável

A localização da casa permite uma vista 360°, imbatível. À noite o espectáculo das estrelas é de cortar a respiração. O silêncio é o vizinho mais próximo! A proximidade de Tavira torna tudo muito acessível e a casa tem tudo o que é indispensável para bons dias de descanso. Gostámos muito.

Tolle Tage an der Algarve

Etwas im Hinterland liegend ist die Villa Celta ein perfekter Ort zur Erholung - dieser Jahr auch vor dem Hintergrund von Corona sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, tolles Objekt und ein sehr angenehme Abwicklung durch Jens&Heidi. Definitiv eine Weiterempfehlung wert.

Wundervoller Ausblick - Tolles Haus

Das Haus stellt sich genau so dar wie auf den Fotos. In knapp 10 Minuten erreicht man mit dem Auto Tavira. Das Haus war sauber und gepflegt. An der Küchenausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Herr Röver hat uns sehr freundlich betreut und war jederzeit erreichbar.

Paz, sossego e vistas

Excelente propriedade, ideal para uns dias sossegados e com uma belíssima piscina. A casa tem tudo o que é necessário e até foi possível levar dois cães. Vistas fantásticas sobre a serra e, embora não pareça na primeira viagem, fica suficientemente perto de Tavira e das praias. A repetir.
