Such a great location- steps from the ferry and bayside beach. Super cute studio - pictures are true. Walk to shopping and restaurants. Mitch was awesome about communication and place was spotless. We even were allowed to use washer/dryer. Beach chairs & tiwels included!

The hosts were great, providing all necessary information prior to arrival. The apartment is in a quiet area, at the rear away from traffic. Small, quaint, very comfortable and clean. Met our needs wonderfully as we used it to just sleep and shower. AC was a little noisy, but hosts working on upgrades. A restaurant 2 doors away, a small market less than a block away. A ten minute walk takes you to the main road with it's many great restaurants and shops. The ferry is less than a block away which puts the Balboa Peninsula 5 minutes away and you can go on it by foot or car. Parking is congested, but very accessible. Just follow the Host's advice. We had No Problem! The property gave us the opportunity for a relaxing time away, while we enjoyed fine food, sightseeing and swimming in the ocean. Spent a week at the property and would recommend it!

Lives up to what it was intended for - sleeping and within walking distance of what the Island and Peninsula have to offer. Good mattress; everything was functional; quieter than I had expected. The place could use a few touch-ups here and there, but all-in-all I was satisfied with my stay.

The apartment is up a flight of stairs which was correctly told to us, but there are two flights of stairs so it took me a second to figure out it was backside apartment. I’ve read the other reviews, such as about the refrigerator and carpet and AC, it looks like the manager has taken these seriously as the ac worked fine (though a bit loud), carpet was cool and refrigerator was new enough and was not leaning. There was enough towels and they were cool enough to leave beach chairs though we bought some anyway. There was some coffee grounds but no creamer, so bring your own, but that’s just being picky. It was such a great location, parking was not an issue at all, though I stayed during weekdays. I was not bothered by anyone and the door worked great, though there was some skins through the wall they weren’t bad. I think whoever over there has kids, but they didn’t bother us. Oh and Susan stayed logged on the tv, maybe manager should clear off old accounts. Prime and YouTube. Overall was good stay, was good price for location and didn’t have any issues. I would come again.

Beautiful Beach Studio

Loved the location. Loved the decor. Bathroom door must swells with the weather, but sticks. Shower faucet also needs some muscles to pull out. Loved the communication. I have already recommended it to friends and family. Thanks so much for the wonderful memories!

Perfect for a short stay!

Exactly as described and great location! We had a nice, quiet stay. Host had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower and blow dryer in the bathroom. There also were beach towels, a beach bag, and beach chairs available to use. The shower itself was quite small but think that is par for the course on the island in general. Would stay again!

Little Gem

I stayed for 4 nights in mid June and another 5 later in the month. Absolutely loved it.. Perfect for solo or a couple. Location is great. Enjoyed a walk around the island morning and evening. Great restaurant next door. Full size fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven. 2 beach chairs, towels and a beach bag. Laundromat is half a block away, as is the water. This unit is above the garage but very quiet. Trick to the shower; twist and pull. Be aware that there is no on-site parking but street parking is easy on weekdays; weekends and holidays limited to 3 hours from 8am-6pm, so plan ahead. Watch street cleaning signs as well. I made that mistake the first night. This is a little gem and a great find. Hope to return!

Good location. Steep stairway up to unit over a garage. Comfy king bed. Tiny shower - I am 5’2 and weigh only 100 lbs but shower is very tight. Nice manager.

Perfect spot for traveling solo and not having a car, although the space is definitely big enough for two! Just steps to the ferry and the boardwalk which goes all the way around the island for peaceful morning walks. Property manager was quick to respond when I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the shower. Delicious restaurant next door with excellent service that doubles as a coffee shop in the AM. Will definitely stay here again if available.

Long weekend

The location was perfect!! A block to the ferry and to the corner market. Bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed for four nights. Will definitely be back this summer!

Check in was super easy. We were a little worried about the parking, but there’s plenty of it any given time of day! We enjoyed the cute little restaurant Todos Santos for breakfast and it was walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!
