We are so excited to share our little slice of heaven with you! We picked this adorable 2 bedroom home as our escape, b/c of its charm and location. It is walking distance to canyon lake and has several boat ramp options making this home perfect for a quick get away. We added a 4 Hot tub in 2024 and it’s so relaxing! Soak in the bubbles while you’re BBQing or have a swing in the tree swing and watch the deer. This home is truly an escape!

It was so amazing...the little things where so special..a great swing..a jar of deer corn...deer ate from my hand..jacuzzi tub so relaxing the entire place was amazing...we plan to stay here every year for hubby's birthday

A nice place near Canyon Lake

We were looking for a place to hang out for just a day after visiting Canyon Lake and this property worked out really well. It was very clean and had enough space for our family of five.

A fun place to stay

We enjoyed the house a lot. There were lots of things to do at the house, including the hot tub and fire pit, which we enjoyed. We played a lot of ping pong. There were other things as well, like cornhole and darts. Everything was clean and the owner was very responsive. The only thing I will say is that "walk to the lake" is a bit of an exaggeration. While one could technically do so, it's a ways down the street and you'd need to drive if you are bringing anything.

Clean property. Terrible beds

The beds were horrible. I ended up sleeping on the couch and my friend slept on a foam mattress topper on the floor. I was very unpleasantly surprised when I received the info I should know after the cancellation date that we were expected to start laundry along with the other checkout items. And if we didn’t do All the check out items we would be charged an additional $50 to the cleaning fee we already paid. Also the checkout list in the email was different from the list posted by the front door. Also, there was a list of what not to do with the hot tub but no directions for how to use it. So we were afraid to use it in case we somehow turned it off. It would also have been nice to have a list of good restaurants in the area. Clean house. But probably will not go back again.

The location of the property so close to the lake is idyllic and perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or family. The house had everything you would need and even provides to have the perfect game nights. Would highly recommend!

Birthday getaway

Cute place, plenty of room for four teenage boys, parents and lil sister. Enjoyed the deer that came right up to our property.

Cute little house that was super clean. There were deer everywhere, a great fire pit, and ping pong and darts were a favorite!

Great little house!

We were fortunate enough to be the first guests here in this property. It was well equipped with everything we needed from paper towels to logs to put in fire pit. The location was great & didn’t take too long to get to the river. Overall a great stay here. The only thing I would say is the beds are not comfortable. The top bunk mattress was good but the rest were very uncomfy. The bunk is very loud when someone moves so hard to sleep when someone is moving. Would be ok for kids but we had all adults so wasn’t the best. Also the shower could use updating. There’s only one bathroom which was ok but the shower definitely needs to be updated. Would stay here again…if they changed out the mattresses & maybe found a better solution for the bunk room.
