Island Gem is located near the central hub of Drummond Island, with easy access to Lake Huron, JEEP/ATV trails, hiking trails, the school playground, and so much more! It was recently remodeled and is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing feel with the privacy of a home-away-from-home. The large backyard features a firepit and trees for hammock hanging! Bring your "game" and challenge each other to a game of Corn Hole!

This four bedroom home sleeps 10 comfortably. Downstairs you will find a large, airy kitchen - the hub of the home where family will gather for meals, game night and more! The cozy living area features a Smart TV for streaming all your favorite shows via your service (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.). The Master Bedroom, 2nd bedroom, Laundry room and two baths are also found on the main floor. Upstairs you'll find the Trundle bedroom and a well-appointed Queen bedroom.
· If you are making this reservation within 24 hours of arrival please call for check in instructions.
· Check-In after 4 PM. Check-Out by 9 AM. Check in at Drummond Island Hotel & Vacation Homes at
34834 S Townline Road. We will provide you with keys & directions.
· Any fees associated with processing a credit card will NOT be refunded if you cancel your reservation.
· Pets welcome. Pet reservation is required. Please read our Pet Policy. Two Dog max. A $50 per pet fee
will be added by Property Manager.
· All reservations have a 30 Day Cancellation Policy.

Awesome place to stay

Very close to town with good proximity to the water and trails. House was extremely well stocked and clean. Would highly recommend this place to stay.

The place was recently remodeled so it was very nice. The location was good and communication with the owners was easy. We would stay here again.

Great place

We had deer in the back yard every night, the place is very nicely equipped, very comfortable. Only drawback is traffics noise (beyond your control).

Adorable home!

We rented this home for a week, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We were close to many restaurants and beaches, and the kids loved having all of the friendly deer visit our backyard. We would definitely recommend!

Centrally located & Comfortable rental

We visited with some friends to attend the annual JTM to Drummond Island event. The home was not initially what we had expected from the outside, which was ok because the detail in the interior made up for it. Very comfortable beds and warm environment.

Excellent!

We loved it! We enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard each day and how close it was to the 4 corners and gas. My girls especially loved how we could right the side by side to the elementary playground! Would definitely stay there again!!!

Great place 4th of July stay

We’ve stayed a few places on Drummond and this was my favorite because of proximity to family, the store, etc. I’m also picky on cleanliness and it was clean when I arrived. Our family enjoyed the outdoor deck and gas fire at night so we were the social, s’mores place. We booked for next 4th week because that’s when all the family gets together!

Loving Drummond Island

Absolutely beautiful updated house that was very clean. Plenty of room to spread out in the living room, grill dinner or relax on the deck. The kitchen is completely stocked with all necessary items to cook. There is ample room to park several vehicles.

Great location and functional!

Had a good stay at this property, it’s was clean and as advertised. Nice big lawn for outdoor relaxing and plenty of space for parking. Location was good for accessing trails and grocery/ gas stations. Kitchen had good appliances, but was lacking in the pots and pans…no pizza pan, no oven pans, pot holders etc. could use more utensils and kitchenware. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great location, very clean

Property is in a great location to the trails. A mile out of town. House was very clean. Plenty of room inside the house. Back deck is very large . Enjoyed a fire every night. Our group will return again

Drummond Island Golf / Play Getaway

We use VRBO a lot. This property by far rates up in our top 3. Excellent accommodations. Comfortable, clean, well appointed and nicely done up. We did however wear out the bean bags on the cornhole game. What a wonderful weekend and I would highly recommend this property to anyone, large group or small. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your house.

Very nice home

Nice home for multiple families, great back yard and deck space. Sliding door kept falling off the sliding hinges. Had plenty of kitchen utilities/utensils to get us through the week with using the dishwasher. INSTAPOT did not seal. Overall we would definitely book again!!!

Great Home

This was an amazing spot to stay. When we first arrived (around 9PM) it looked like a smaller house than we originally were thinking. The Resort left our key for us in a secured location and let us know so we could pick it up after the hours we initially planned to be there. When we entered the home it was much more spacious than we thought it would have been. It was beautiful inside. I absolutely loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer. They were stocked with utensils, pots and pans, an air fryer, plates and cups, etc. They had towels and TP. Overall a fabulous place to stay!

Trail ride Home Base

The cabin was great. Cute and Cozy! There was plenty of room for 8 adults. This was our first time on Drummond Island. And we will be back. We ride the trails in side by sides and had a blast. We had 8 adults staying at the cabin. The inside is roomy enough for game night and drinks. The back deck and yard were well taken care of and plenty of seating for everyone. There is a washer and dryer and had just about anything you would need. We had a great stay! Oh and the friendliest, cutest doe dropped by to visit. Almost ate out of our hand. So cool! We will be back.

Nice place to stay for a weekend- def could use improvement

Overall the actual place was nice. The communication- terrible. I never received any information about checking in, I assumed there would be a key code or something at the house when we got there. Thank goodness the management property called me a half hour before they closed asking when I would check in. I wasn’t even on the island at that time we were still traveling, but they were able to leave the key in a safe spot for us to pick up. I had messaged the host asking for details but never received a message back. I can’t believe that that information was not communicated beforehand, what if we had all drove up to the island and not been able to get into the house since the hotel (that we had to get the key from) had closed for the weekend?! Also was not well stocked at all- half a roll of paper towel and they can’t even put actual hand soap in the bathrooms? The screen door was also broken, but since the host had not replied to my original post asking how to check in to the house I didn’t even bother again so we just didn’t use it.

Hi Alyssa, So sorry you had missed the check-in instructions located on the Rental Agreement provided at the time of making your reservation. Our evening person struggles with the computer so she calls guests to inform them how to check in if you have not arrived by 8 pm. Our office hours are 8 am to 8 pm daily. We are open all year. We are not sure why the home didn't have a full roll of paper towel or the bar soaps we typically provide. We will follow up with the cleaner. Our cleaner did mention that all the lamps and TV's were unplugged, an excessive amount of grease covered the entire stove top, wrappers tucked in various places throughout the house. Apparently everyone prefers to eat in bed since crumbs were found throughout. Her list goes on, but I believe the point is made. Oh, and the screen door has been placed back on it's track.

Great Place

Staff was really friendly and place is very comfortable. I loved the kitchen area. It was great for cooking and eating among friends. People in the island was very friendly! There was one bedroom which was small and without any space for luggage, but besides this point, the rest was perfect. I would definitely come back.

Well stocked, beautifully decorated, comfortable home!

This house is beautifully decorated! The kitchen was fully stocked with great cookware and we loved the air fryer and grill. The beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. The washer and dryer were a wonderful bonus! It truly was an Island Gem!

Both grills on the porch were filthy with baked on grease snd rotten burnt food scraps No AC

unless you are on a waterfront lot there are no public beaches Very limited internet snd tv The island is pretty well closed after 8 pm No Nightlife at all

We have 3 public beaches on the island and lots of state land with water access. There is also a beach at Drummond Island Yacht Haven (walking distance from this property). Also, we manage many waterfront properties, if you decide to visit again maybe one of these homes would suit you better. My apologies on the grill, I will send our handyman down to take care of that. As for AC there are very few homes on Drummond Island with AC as our nights typically cool down dramatically.

This place was a dream - had all the amenities it advertised, and came fully stocked in terms of utensils, linens, and everything else you could need. The property manager was communicative and delightful, and my friends and I are already planning our trip back. 10/10!!!
