Le Clos du Val D'or - Avenay VAL D'or

Members of the "Valeurs Parcs" program: The "Le Clos du Val d'Or" vacation rental is located in the village of Avenay Val d'Or, 10 km from Épernay and its famous Avenue de Champagne, and 30 km from Reims and Châlons-en-Champagne. It is nestled in lush greenery on the village hillside, enclosed by a wall (a perimeter wall surrounding the entire property); the garden (50 ares) is crossed by a small stream and also features a forest (approximately 1.5 hectares). You’ll be the only guests on the estate. It’s the ideal spot for a getaway with family or friends, offering peace and quiet and a chance to completely unwind, while still providing quick access to the many attractions of our department (walks through the vineyards, museums, shops, and more). Marc, the owner, is a winemaker and can offer you an introduction to champagne, a tour, and even a tasting if you’d like. The cottage features a large living area with a dining room, living room, and kitchen that opens onto the terrace (with a view of the stream and the forest). From the living room, you’ll also have access to two bedrooms (one with a 160-cm double bed and one with two single beds) as well as a bathroom. A laundry room is located in the basement with a washer and dryer. New for 2026: The cottage will be equipped with a hot tub starting April 15, 2026, and two electric bikes. The rate includes linens (beds made upon arrival), end-of-stay cleaning, utilities, the hot tub, and the electric bikes. Bath towels are not provided, and this service cannot be added. An electric vehicle charging station is available at the train station in the village.
