The house is super cute and well laid out with all the amenities you need for a great stay. A lot of effort was put in to the landscaping and interior decorations. The fire pit area is nice, and lit with cute string lights, and the hot tub was a welcome treat after a long day of hiking. Shannon's communication was perfect and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco which was also very nice. We had a great time. The only negative is that it just could have been a little cleaner.

I had a peaceful and relaxing stay with modern conveniences.This was probably one off the best vacations homes that i have stay at. I would recommend this place to my friends and family if they want to experience what I did.

Amazing Stay!

This place was absolutely perfect for my family (my husband, parents and 2 year old). We were in town for a wedding and wanted to all stay together. The house was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The road was quiet and the property was so well kept. Shannon was quick to respond and quick in was a breeze.

Tucked Away in the Adirondacks

Sweet little house in the Adirondack area. Great place to retreat to after family reunion festivities. House had everything we needed (although we could not find an ironing board). Host was very responsive.

Crazy cleaning lady. Far from most things, but hot tub is nice.

Wonderful home but the cleaning lady, who claimed to be the owner ruined our experience with this home. It clearly states on Vrbo that check out is at 11 AM. And we seen a car sitting outside about 10 AM. At 10:15 AM. This lady pounded on the door, not even a knock. She literally pounded on the door. And asked if we were leaving because she needed to get in there to clean for the next group. I stated that check out wasn’t until 11. She then said no it’s at 10 and I am the owner so you need to get out because I need to clean. So we finished packing our stuff and left shortly there after. I have never encountered such a rude host, especially bc we paid about 350$ a night. The other thing that bothered us was when we got to the home there were food in the cupboards, the fridge, clothes, and dressers, that was kind of weird. It seems like the owner would have told guests that someone lives there in between renters. It would have been nice if the owner had stated that a dog is in the house when renters are not there, there was dog hair all over the towels the couches. I’m glad nobody in our party was allergic. Other than that, the outside area was really nice. It was quiet and secluded. The hot tub worked good, but it was dirty. There was dirt at bottom and it smelled like mildew. The master bedroom was nice and had a very comfy bed. The other bedroom with the queen bed was kind of worn out. The bunkbeds were bunkbeds.

Fishing trip

We had a great time. This was our second year staying at this home for our annual lake trout fishing trip. Cozy home that had everything that we needed and located a short drive from the lake. The host made everything easy and was very quick to respond to my messages.

Great trip!

We came up for a fishing trip on Lake Champlain, had a great time and loved our stay at this property. The house has a very cozy feel to it, beds were super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Also has a great outdoor fireplace area. The host was very quick to respond to questions and check in was super easy. We would definitely recommend this rental and hope to come back next year!

A little slice of heaven

Family vacation in lake placid and ausable NY. The property was soooo clean, beautiful and comfortable. Owner was available immediately when I had a question. Well worth the 35min drive from placid to stay here!!! Quite and serene. Online pics matched the reality 100 percent. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Lovely secluded getaway!

We had a wonderful time! The house had a great layout for two couples and wonderful outdoor space! It was in a quiet and beautiful area, but close to amenities in Peru and Plattsburgh. The host even left us adult beverages, which we enjoyed by the fire pit. We had an excellent stay!
