Welcome to our beautiful1300 sqft home located in Sherwood Shores at Dale Hollow Lake! We are just minutes from Star Point and Sunset Marinas. Bass boat electrical hookup on front of garage. Come and relax outside on the back deck with dinner on the grill and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine on us! Cozy up after a fun day in the sun on the couch and enjoy a movie on the 58 inch smart TV OR enjoy a cup of coffee and a smore out back at the fire pit. Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day there is a 3 day minimum day.

Nice place to stay.

Nice clean house. Located about 10 min to town. So just be aware. Nicely decorated.Driveway is a little steep with a boat..so just be aware.

Great place

Great location to Sunset Marina. Parking large enough for truck and boat. Loved having coffee on the back porch and seeing the deers. Large utility room for storing coolers. Will rent again.

Delightful Stay!

We were in the area for a family wedding and the home was a great respite. The home has numerous amenities (lots of kitchen items), comfortable beds, backyard patio to watch fireflies and nicely decorated. Everything was as described in the listing. We’d stay again if travels take us in that direction.

Smith Family Reunion

The place was perfect for us and we will be back. This rental in very nice, clean and fairly well stocked with linens and cooking utensils. It’s quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the porch and we saw deer every morning. Unfortunately a family member was sick and not able to come down and stay with us.

Wedding Party

This weekend was our daughters wedding and her sisters were coming into town as part of the wedding party. The photographer met at the house to take pre wedding photos of the bride. This home is very clean and comfortable with a cute yard. Perfect, absolutely perfect!

Sister Trip 2023

Our “Sister Trip” was delightful this year. We enjoy having a house with a kitchen we can cook in as we don’t really like to eat out and one of my sisters absolutely loves to cook! We love to let her cook away😊 The house was perfect for all our needs. Only suggestion I might have is some new pans but probably not too many strange people like us who actually like to cook on vacation!! There is a deer that visits the backyard every day at about the same time. One day she brought her twins to meet us! We had a wonderful relaxing time and the host is fantastic. She returns a text very quickly if you have any questions. If we come back to this area again I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome little home, super nice host!

Amazing experience here. The house is clean, and very well kept. Wonderful views, extremely peaceful and close to the lake. The host is accommodating, and very responsive to messages. Tracy will work with you and help you with any questions you have, either before your trip, or while you are there. Vickie is a wonderful lady that will also help you, if you have any questions as well. There are plenty of utensils, pots and pans, etc. to do any cooking that you'd like. There is a gas grill that you can cook on, and an IGA just a short drive away to get what you need. If you are pulling a boat, there is a looped driveway that makes parking and getting in and out very easy (for my 19.5 foot Skeeter). There is a plug in at the front of the garage, so you can plug your boat in, and you are only a 5 minute drive to Sunset Marina to launch your boat. If you feel the driveway is not adequate for your boat, you can simply rent a slip at Sunset Marina for $25/night. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone that would like to come down to Dale Hollow Lake for fishing, peace and quiet, or just a nice little getaway. 5 stars all the way around.

well appointed close to sunset marina

Overall this is a great property for couples or a small family. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposing sides of the house creating privacy for adults who want a place to go as a couples retreat. The beds and pillows super comfy, towels and linens were very nice as well. The weather did not allow us to enjoy the porch or rear deck but would have been great otherwise. Plenty of comfortable seating in the LR as well as at the table for eating. Well stocked kitchen with necessary kitchen wares. Keurig- so take pods. Nice touches include a few laundry pods, dishwashing detergent for dishwasher, Febreze on the backs of toilets, and tissues throughout. I've been to a lot of rentals and there never seems to be tissues so this was a plus in my book! WIFI was great and cell service was good too. we have verizon phones. Some places we've stayed at in the area we couldn't get good cell service and their wifi was sketchy at best. Not here, both worked fine. I would definitely book this rental in the future should we visit the area again with our kids or another couple. The price was right and it didn't disappoint. It was not too far off the main HWY either like some we looked at. Thanks for a great stay!

Very clean and all the amenities needed

My team fishing partner and I were in town for the week to get ready for a bass tournament classic. The property provided us will everything we needed to relax in the evenings. House was very clean and everything worked as it should. I would definitely recommend this property!
