Escape to this peaceful two-bedroom ocean view suite nestled just off the Malahat, overlooking the stunning Saanich Inlet.
Surrounded by nature, this private suite offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience.
Enjoy your own separate driveway and private entrance, giving you complete privacy during your stay.
Step outside and you're moments from the Trans Canada Trail - ideal for walking, hiking, or cycling through breathtaking West Coast scenery. Shawigan Lake is just 15 minutes away for swimming, boating, and summer fun, while downtown Victoria 30 mins away. We have been up here for 17 years and in the past few years we have got into growing a big garden, raising chickens, and pigs. And soon to be 3 cows. We love the Cowichan Valley and all it has to offer everything from fresh produce, wine and local cheese. Lots of farm stands, markets cafes, and hiking, and biking.
Whether you're looking for a quiet nature escape, an outdoor adventure base, or a relaxing getaway with ocean views this suite offers it all.

Beautiful view

Our stay was relaxing. If you’re looking to get away from the city and just want to have a very quiet relaxing weekend away this is the place for you. The view is absolutely gorgeous! You can sit out in the patio in the morning with a cup of coffee staring into a gorgeous view. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you would need for cooking minus a microwave. It’s a modern, nice and clean place. We felt very much at home here. Thanks Melissa and your family for hosting us.

The unit was beautiful clean and offered spectacular views. The pictures in the ad do not reflect the actual unit... It was much much better!

Amazing place!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Kid friendly, clean and spotless. View was spectacular. Host was so easy to communicate with and responded right away if we needed anything. Overall a great holiday!!

The perfect place to stay!

Melissa’s place was wonderful to stay at after a busy couple of weeks for us. The setting is nothing short of stunning with the most beautiful view. The apartment itself is bright, new, stylish, comfortable and perfect for us as a family with 3 small children. The location was perfect for us. There is a lake just a short drive away, hiking from the house and plenty of child-friendly swimming spots within a short drive. Melissa had added some really lovely touches to make travelling with children easy. The place had a high chair, pack and play, child safety gate and a beautiful fabric play tent, which our children loved. Melissa was a breeze to communicate with and always replied promptly to any questions I had. We didn’t want to leave and will certainly be back in the future!

Great kid-friendly space

We absolutely loved our stay. We were four adults and one toddler and found everything we needed for our little one- a pack and play (travel crib), high chair, books, toys, little kid plates. A great place to bring a kid but also a great place to be just adults as well. The views are amazing, the deck is a perfect place to spend your evenings, and the lake down the road is perfect for kiddos. We couldn't hear anything from downstairs- it was incredibly quiet at night and during the day. Soft linens and comfy king sized beds (one soft and the other harder), a beautiful shower, gorgeous little touches all over the place. Our hosts even turned on the A/C for us before we came, which was much appreciated because it was a very hot day. Just a wonderful spot. Thanks Melissa.

A Peaceful Getaway

Stunning property with unbeatable views! Melissa was always happy to help and answer any questions we had. The unit is wonderfully appointed with anything you may need and has beautiful finishes. Nothing was overlooked and the attention to detail made our stay all that much better! So glad we got to stay here and hope to be back soon!
