It was great. There are a lot of outdoor stairs to the bluffs suite so some guests might be challenged especially in inclement weather or carrying heavy luggage l but otherwise it was a beautiful room with a great view.

We had one of the most disturbing experiences we’ve ever had at a rental. When we arrived, we entered our booked suite to find the TV on and another guest’s belongings scattered throughout. We immediately left, fearing we had walked in on someone, and contacted the host. After a delay, the host claimed VRBO “messed up” and given the other guest the wrong room. He told us the guest had “just arrived” and the room should still be clean, even offering to “tell us where the cleaning supplies are.” When the other guest returned, however, he told us he had already stayed overnight and the room was messy — directly contradicting what the host said.We were left with two unacceptable options: stay in a dirty room another guest already had the code for, or move into his room, which the host had also given him the code for. With no deadbolts or secondary locks, we spent the night knowing a stranger could walk in at any time.The room we ended up in was much smaller, lacked a bathroom sink or mirror, had no AC control, and a very small bed. Even ignoring the safety concerns and inconvenience, this unit rents for 30% less than the one we booked, yet the host wouldn’t refund that difference — let alone make amends. Instead, they admitted it was an “inferior suite” and offered only a 150 credit toward a future stay, ignoring the security and cleanliness issues.We strongly caution anyone considering this property: the host does not take safety, security, or cleanliness seriously.

The Wi-Fi wasn't working. The modem was inaccessible. The hosts took four hours to respond. They rebooted it the next morning. It was a hassle. I had to buy data. I asked for compensation. They refused to negotiate. Their first and final offer was 25, equal to 10% of the rate. End of conversation, right? Wrong! They then called to suggest that I leave a day early, since I was so "unhappy." (I declined.) So they were willing to give up 250 in rate. But no more than 25 to resolve our conflict. And I had to complain to Vrbo to get that.

Perfect Location & Beautiful Setting!

This was a wonderful place to stay while we visited the towns and friends from my husband’s high school days. Everything was so clean and we had everything we needed! The views are incredible and my husband loved telling me about the sights. Our host, Judy, was quick to respond and so helpful. (Thank you again) We will be back!

What a beautiful view we had! We enjoyed watching the ships and the trains! It was entertaining in itself! It was the perfect end to our vacation in Washington after visiting family in the Seattle area! One of our favorite places to stay!

Beautiful place to stay

It’s an amazing place to stay. I would stay here again. Please note it’s a very steep road which is paved up to the top. And there are stairs that lead to the third floor so you want to be comfortable on stairs. But the view and the room are absolutely incredible.

The location and convenience of this cabin were fantastic. Hosts were very communicative and I had no issues while staying there for 3 weeks. Would absolutely come back.

Cozy studio with amazing view well located

We enjoyed a 3 night stay and exploring the towns of southern Washington. Our lodging was comfortable and well stocked with great access to the freeway. It would be so much fun to return during summer months and use the outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend this place to stay.

I wish we would have known there were 32 steps up to the suite. The owner did offer to help my husband but he said he could do it by himself. Other than that we really enjoyed our time there. It is a great “base camp” to explore Mt. St. Helens!

Wonderful stay - fantastic views!

We have stayed at this properties several times and it’s great every time. New, clean and nicely appointed. Communication with Judy is quick and easy. The views of the Columbia River are fantastic. We highly recommend!

Another great stay at this property!

We have stayed at this property 4 or 5 times and it has been great every time. Always clean and well appointed. Judy is super friendly and quick to communicate. Our favorite place to stay BY FAR in the area.
