We had a lovely time staying here for Thanksgiving! We were three families with two young kids each, and really appreciated the outdoor play areas, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and each family having our own bedroom (plus a bunk bed room for the older kids to have a "sleepover" in). We're already looking forward to coming back next year!

My family had a wonderful time at this house - so many nice touches like wine and a Christmas tree made us feel right at home. And the kids had so much fun in the backyard! We would definitely come back!

One of the best vacation home

Family time and exploring California.

We enjoyed our stay while we explored the surrounding areas of Monterey, Pinnacles Nat Pk and Pfeiffer Big Sur. The house was very accommodating, welcoming, comfortable and clean for the 6 of us. We enjoyed the putting green and corn hole in the enclosed back yard. Thank you!

Really Great!!!!

Clean - Comfortable - and the Fire pit was just a perfectly designed space - there is a privacy was around the back area that helped us feel tucked away despite how convenient it was to Salina proper - We were visiting the Raceway at Laguna and the drive there was easy - 15 - 20 min. Will definitely book again next year.

Great for a large group or family gathering

We booked this home for a team stay for an event, there were plenty of places to sleep and the common area was a great size for everyone to spend some time in together. All 3 bathrooms could close the restroom doors making it easy to get ready in the morning if you just needed sink access. Home is well appointed, clean and comfortable

Project Week 2024

This house is perfect for large groups. It comfortably sleeps 16 and has the space for a group that size to cook, eat, and hang out together, including an outdoor patio. The host is friendly and responsive. I’ve stayed there twice now and would definitely go back!

Great home for large gatherings

We were a group of 14 (3 Families) and the house accommodated everyone quite well. It was very clean ! Location for us was good. We enjoyed day trips to the Pinnacles, Salinas John Steinbeck Museum, Monterey Bay and Carmel by the Sea. Kitchen had what we needed and we enjoyed time around the fire pit outside. Quite nice that the host provided the wood! The host also communicated well and addressed our questions. We would definitely return.

Hidden Gem

From the moment I placed the reservation until the day we left, Charles has been very responsive and communication was excellent. The home is exactly as it is in the picture. Everything was very clean and the amenities we excellent. We utilized the firepit. My family and i truly enjoyed our stay, and will be staying again on our next trip to California. If i could give more than 5 stars i would.

Absolutely what we expected

We were a family group celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. All the subgroup split and traveled each day, coming home to to cook and enjoy each other. The Central Coast Retreat handled our need to a T. Couldn't have been more please. Every single item we needed was in the house. My wife and I probably won't have a second 50th anniversary but if we did this would be a great VRBO to use as a celebration base.

Really nice stay!

We had 3 families staying at once and it went very smooth! Each room worked out perfectly for the ages of kids and adults we had. The beds are comfortable and the house is clean! We are people who enjoy having a fan at night and there are not fans in the house. So we ended up opening windows and then that brought some outside noise from the street behind. Not anything terrible but is worth noting. We enjoyed the gift from the hosts when we arrived, the kids enjoyed the games provided and they really had everything we needed ! This was such a great spot to be in for our family trip! We would definitely stay here again!

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing our stay was here!!! This place is a must!!! Please believe me when I tell you…it really is everything and more! And not to mention the amazing host Charles. He took such great care of us while we were there- quick to respond and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would like to mention how the pictures are beautiful but being there in person is so much more beautiful and the home is such a relaxing getaway. I cannot wait to book my next family vacation here!! Kids are really looking forward to coming back!! Thank you Charles for your amazing getaway home!!! It was everything and more!!!

Clean and comfortable

We came in to ride the Laguna Seca race track. There was plenty of room to back my F350 and 26' trailer into the long driveway. Once inside everything was clean and tidy. The washer and dryer worked well. We would stay here again!
