Great location!

Our family of four was extremely comfortable in this beach house. We all had plenty of space and the beach is just a short walk away through the dunes on a quiet part of the island. Cindy was a very responsive and lovely host. We hope to be able to stay here again!

We had a great time. We had chairs for the beach,umbrellaa,swimmimng toys and a cart to bring thing to the beach. Love the shower outside you can rise the sand off before going in the house

We pride ourselves on providing a five-star property with all the comforts of home, private beach access, including beach accessories for families to create wonderful memories. Spacious clean townhouse, steps from quiet beach

This place was amazing! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Tybee Island. Very clean, has everything you need, townhouse, great screened in porch. Best thing is steps from beautiful quiet beach (your walkway is private to small number of residents). Great for relaxing and catching some waves!

Great place on Tybee Island

This was a great place to stay. Everything was well thought out. Well stocked and plenty of towels. Even had extra beach towels and beach toys and chairs. We would go back again.

Enjoyed my stay. I didnt like the walk thur the dunes to get to the beach but other than that everything was nice. Very clear instructions. Plenty of towels and amenities.

Great place to run away!

Loved the short walk to a very quiet stretch of beach that was perfect for our low-key children. Outside shower was a huge bonus. Many small thoughtful details. Children adored the little room with twin beds. :)We planned to go light, but also eat all at the VRBO. Glad we didn't plan elaborate meals bc we didn't bring the cookware we would have needed. Excellent recommendations for eateries.We come to Tybee every year as a family tradition. This was a great place to make memories!

Awesome Tybee Island vacation!

Everything from the booking to check-in and check out was absolutely easy and convenient. Runaway Flip Flop’s is the best vacation spot, a short walk to the beach - they supply towels, chairs, umbrellas - all to make your stay a fun one and feel like a home away from home. The home is very clean with many places to sit and relax whether you want to watch TV or sit outside on the porch swing. Very responsive when needing any assistance or have questions, which helped make our stay even better. Thank you so much for opening your home up to others to enjoy Tybee Island beach!

3rd year in a row at this great vrbo. Everything is homey and just right. Not too cute, not too personal, VERY comfortable. Easy to reach host at any time to ask a question and get an answer. Great beach access. Everything you need is right there. Several little thoughtful provisions you don't expect. Perfect.

Beautiful location to have a private beach experience!

The owners were very kind and thoughtful with their interactions with us. The home is a great space and perfect location for private beach experience! It’s close enough to north beach if you want more people to interact in, however having our own space with no one else around was so peaceful! Many thinks within walking distance to enjoy. Owners have lots of items for kids to enjoy. I hope we can come back to rent it again. From grandparents to children, it was a hit! Thank you for sharing your family escape with ours!!!

Amazing family vacation

We have all good things to say. Everything was perfect. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy, clean location on the island, this would be perfect. The short, winding path to the beach is private. The screened in porch and exposed side of the deck was a nice touch, as well as the outside shower to rinse the sand off. Two and a half baths were great for the five of us. We were also very impressed with how quickly Cindy would get back to us with any questions. We would certainly stay here again.

First vacation in a while

Runaway Flipflops provided the absolute best experience for us. Our kids loved that their room was close to ours and loved that we were only steps from the beach. We began and ended every day of our stay with a walk to the beach. We enjoyed the toys and all the equipment they had to offer for the perfect beach getaway. Walking distance from the marine center, lighthouse, and a few restaurants too. The owners were easily reachable if we needed them. We haven't had a vacation in a while but will be considered regulars to this area and house.

Best Ever Beach Getaway!

We were surprised and delighted by the looks, comfort, cleanliness, and location of this Tybee Island beach home. First of all, this really felt like a “home,” beautifully decorated, well cared for and well equipped. We found a big basket of beach towels waiting for us, along with a storage shed of boogie boards, umbrella, beach toys, etc. The bedrooms were beautiful, with comfortable beds and the bathrooms had a good supply of towels, with more stored by the washer/dryer. The location was great, near the northern part of the island, close to our favorite restaurant (Sundae Cafe) and ice cream shop (Sugar Shack). We loved the quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the quiet beach. All in all we had the most perfect beach vacation experience. My friend’s response was, “Let’s book this for the next five years!”

Our friends and family have stayed in our beach house and continue to love visiting Tybee. Check out Tybee's amazing outdoor activities that range from fishing charters, dolphin sightseeing tours, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating/canoeing, local restaurants, long walks on the beach and so much more!

Runaway Flip Flops property has external security camera located on front main deck overlooking front door, front stairwell and driveway. Security camera is for the safety of our owners and guests.

This footage is not shared publicly and is recorded for liability reasons in case of break-in, death, injury, guest sneaking in pets, guest disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, and in no way infringes upon guests' expectations of privacy in these public areas of property.

Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund. The full deposit is forfeited if any of the above are found. You will be asked to leave the property immediately with no money returned.
