Stunning Mountain View Home

Both of us grew up in SC and later met in MO where we started our journey as a married couple. We have four wonderful kids who are currently making their way in the world in a variety of areas. After serving as a pastor of a church in MS, my husband joined the Army and we have been serving for the past 18 years in the Army Chaplaincy. We purchased the property from the daughters of the couple who were the original owners. We appreciated the fact that this couple both served in the Armed Forces during WWII (He, a pilot in the Navy and she, a Navy WAVE), as well as their churches in SC and as missionaries to Japan. They affectionately named the property, "Thistle Bee Heaven." We have always enjoyed serving others and have enjoyed doing such through our Brevard property.

We are also a military family and recognize the value and need to take time away for rest, relaxation and reflection in God's creation. It is our pleasure to share our home with you in the hopes that you, too, will find the view and amenities a home away from home and a quiet place to rejuvenate!
