OCEANFRONT! Pool & Land Trans included!

Only accessible by ferry or private boat. Car is left on the mainland at the embarkation and you enjoy a relaxing ride to the island. Once on the island a van will be waiting to take you to your vacation home and then back at departure. The only way around the island is rental carts and bikes. We will be happy to arrange your travel arrangements on the island. Our Condo has been totally renovated and continually updated. The Condo is on the South end of the island! BEST OF ALL IT'S 100 YARDS FROM THE OCEAN!! When you walk through the front door, your eyes immediately see the ocean. The Kitchen is open to the dining room and living room. Must see pictures. The Condo is on the second floor with stairs or elevator for your use. Two master bedrooms, each with a king bed & private double vanity bathroom, the third bedroom has two sets of bunks and private bath. Daufuskie Island is the South's BEST kept Secret. Book now so that you can start great memories with your families.

Phenomenal

Best ever! Susan took great care in providing detailed guidelines to prepare us for this trip. From how to book the ferry to what to pack. We were greeted at the dock right on time with a smile. While driving us to our destination she pointed out numerous sites to visit and special places to eat. During our stay she replied promptly to text and easily resolved a minor issue. Her hospitality and love for this place is genuine and contagious. The accommodations were decorated tastefully, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and had all that we needed. Our stay was perfect and restful. Daufuskie Island was breathtaking and we can’t wait to return. Don’t miss this one!

Love Sandy Lane Condos

This is our 3rd time staying at the Sandy Lane condos and this unit has one of the best views of any property. Covered deck helps with the sun with a panoramic view of the ocean. Susan and her husband are excellent to work with as the added value of ground transportation and the availability of renting the golf carts direclty from Susan makes it easy.

The Perfect Family Vacation Spot

I cannot even begin to put into words how spectacular this place is. I started to tear up ehen we got inside the porperty. Views of the ocean, the pool and how absolutely magnificent everything was. Susan is a wonderful property manager, completely there for us if we beeded anything, including directions to the trash area. Our kids loved that they could spend all day between the ocean and the pool and we loved that we could go explore the island all day. This was the perfect vacation for all of us. We will be back and tell all our friends and family to check out this little tropical paradise.

Best vacation ever

We spent a week in this condo on Daufuskie. We all agree it was the best vacation we have had. The condo was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The view is amazing and we loved how close we were to the beach. We spent less time in the pool than we thought we would, but only because the beach is so awesome. The kids loved searching for shells and sand dollars and building sand castles. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone who wants to relax and spend quality time with family. We will be back!!

Great condo & perfect location!

We stayed at the Sandy Lane Villas as two families of four - 4 adults and 4 kids. The setup was perfect for our group with three en suite bathrooms, one of which was the bunk room for the kids. We were disappointed to discover that although the listing shows two king beds, the smaller bedroom was only a queen. The condo is so close to the beach and ocean, and the balcony was amazing for watching the sunrise and the ocean. We saw dolphins several times from the balcony! Having the pool at the condo was also a huge bonus. It was never too busy and we appreciated having that option for swimming. We cooked many meals in the unit and the kitchen was well stocked. There were basic spices and seasonings in the cupboards as well. Our review was reduced to a 4-star only due to property management communication. I don't know what the disconnect was, but Susan was not responsive to us. At the very start upon booking, I was disappointed with the presentation of the golf cart rentals. It was presented not as an option, but as a given that we would rent carts from Susan. This turned us off enough to explore other options on the island, and we rented from Tour Daufuskie at a lower cost (and had brand new carts!). After arriving at the condo we had some small issues (no comforters for the bunks, only 7 of the advertised 8 beach towels) and emailed Susan almost immediately. We never received a response. We did find comforters in a closet as well as some rugs that hadn't been put back down and made do with the 7 towels. Again, not earth shattering issues, but the lack of response was frustrating. The Welcome Packet has many discrepancies throughout, specifically in regards to what is supplied in the condo. Communication was also lacking for the land transport upon departure. We finally reached out at 6 pm the evening before to get information after not hearing anything up until then. Overall, we would definitely stay at Sandy Lane Villas again if returning to Daufuskie, but may explore other owners.
