Welcome to Chalet L'Ours Canadien, a cozy and exotic retreat located in Xonrupt-Longemer, on the edge of the forest.

Just 2 km from Lake Xonrupt-Longemer and 7 km from Lake Gérardmer, this chalet can accommodate up to 6–8 people and offers the perfect setting to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the Vosges.

Upon arrival, the free private parking lot makes it easy to park. An entryway with a built-in closet welcomes you before you step into the chalet’s warm and inviting atmosphere.

A bright and cozy living area

The main room, bathed in light, is the heart of the chalet.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen blends seamlessly into this living space, allowing you to prepare meals while enjoying time together.

The wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere and invites you to extend your evenings in a warm, welcoming setting.

Three bedrooms for a comfortable stay

The chalet features three bedrooms spread across different levels.

Upstairs, a bedroom equipped with a double sofa bed has its own shower room with a toilet.

On the garden level, two double bedrooms each have their own shower room with a toilet.

Thanks to their large floor-to-ceiling windows, these two bedrooms offer breathtaking views of the forest, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural surroundings of the chalet.

A lounge area for sharing good times

Between the two ground-floor bedrooms, a lounge area with a TV and a sofa bed rounds out the living spaces.

A pleasant place to gather, relax, or simply enjoy a quiet moment after a day spent exploring the Vosges.





Additional Information:

For your comfort, bed linens, towels, and dishware are provided, allowing you to relax as soon as you arrive. Utilities are included in the rate, but please use energy sparingly. End-of-stay cleaning is included.



Please note that parties and festive events are prohibited, as are pets. Firewood is not provided, but a cozy atmosphere is guaranteed.

Please take out your trash before you leave (instructions and a map are in the welcome booklet). Otherwise, a flat fee of €30 will be charged for trash removal.





For everyone’s peace of mind, a €500 security deposit is required for your stay (a credit card authorization will be automatically processed by our software the day before your arrival, or via bank transfer, and will be refunded after the housekeeping team has completed their work at the end of your stay).
