Avalon 1809 is managed by Pam Martin, a Realtor, with Keller Williams Alabama Gulf Coast. This luxury two bedroom condo is located on the 18th floor of the Avalon Tower at The Beach Club with a direct view of an endless sugar white sand beach and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! The sparkling Avalon pool, hot tub, and wading pool are just steps away from the condo. The living room and master bedroom each have a full glass wall with a sliding glass door adjoining the balcony. Your days and nights will be filled with sunshine and moonlight while you enjoy spectacular views dining or lounging on the spacious balcony. The living area is so pleasing you may be tempted to lounge all day in front of the HDTV and soak up the view! The kitchen has granite and all appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware and most small appliances. You can enjoy elegant dining with meals prepared in this kitchen, or get take-out if you prefer!

The king master bedroom has a flat screen HDTV and DVD player and privately adjoins a double vanity bathroom with a jetted tub and shower, and has a walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and twin over twin bunk bed, flat screen HDTV and DVD player and privately adjoins a full bath with a shower/tub combo. There is a half bath conveniently located in the hallway near the entry area. There is NO sofa sleeper.

The owner is a member of The Beach Club so you will have access to the many private amenities with a daily fee which you pay at the club desk for only the days you choose. The private amenities include: An indoor pool and luxury locker rooms with saunas, a fitness center, a game room, outdoor pool with seasonal poolside entertainment and Tiki Bar and Grill, world class clay tennis courts, a tennis instructor, and scheduled children's activities.

You will have access (without the daily fee) to the Club Spa and Salon, and the fine dining restaurant and full bar located upstairs in the Clubhouse. Both have an outside patio with a beautiful gulf view. Or take the tram to the restaurant and bar near the entrance of the resort. There is onsite shopping for beach attire, souvenirs, and toys right next to an ice cream shop! Bring your basketball, there are goals in the West Parking area!

A good week!!

We had a good week at The Beach Club! The weather was great, not too terribly crowded! We have been coming here for over 20 years! The condo is nice, when we arrived it was very clean! We have a family of 5 with kids that are 19, 14, and 10 so the bed situation in the second bedroom was perfect! We did appreciate the space in there as there was room for them to have their own beds and corner. The half bath was great having 2 teenage girls because it gave them an extra space for their stuff! Kitchen was well stocked, the ice maker kept plenty of ice in it all week, but we did have some trouble with the fridge staying cold the first few days. They have made some updates in the condo which were nice, but the kitchen was dated. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and most of the furniture was very nice! Patio furniture was very comfortable and enjoyed our coffee in the mornings! A few things to note: The master shower was awkward as it had the sliding door on the oversized jet tub and was strange to use and get in and out of, also there were no closets to hang anything up- the owners had the master closet locked. Overall, it was a good condo, we would stay here again!

Love the Beach Club

Our stay at the Beach Club was great except for the check in. We were given the understanding that we would have passes for parking for two vehicles, but this was not the case and we were not informed that there would be an additional $40 per vehicles. Also, before we got there the property manager tried to make us believe that we had reserved a different property in the Catalina penthouse. When we saw the pictures we knew it was not the same property we reserved because it did not have two bunk beds and a queen bed, so we looked at our initial email and it was 18th floor Avalon. So we feel that the property manager tried to make us think we were wrong, but I think she accidentally booked someone else for our condo. We felt that we were being manipulated and will not rent from Keller Williams again. In fact we reserved a condo for next March 2025 with a private party. We do enjoy Beach Club and will continue to rent there as lon as we can. Thanks!

It’s a nice place but all the closets were locked (this is the first time we haven’t been able to put our stuff in the closest out of the way), no extra blankets, coffee pot was a mess so I went and bought one.

We have stayed numerous times at this location but this was our first with this owner. Everything was perfectly described and we enjoyed our week immensely. I would recommend the location and the rental!

Excellent stay

We have never stayed here and enjoyed it so much! We have saved it to our favorites and plan to stay here again!! Such a nice secluded place, beaches not crowded, highly highly recommend!

Nice property

Beautiful beach and excellent location. The unit was clean and nice. Easy to get in and out of. The restaurant, ice cream place and games/music at the front of the property were a lot of fun for the whole family. Our only issue was with the property manager. We didn’t have any oven mitts so I had to use towels to cook anything in the oven. They said they would bring them twice and never did. Also, the lights didn’t work correctly in any of the three bedrooms. If my husband wanted to stay up later and watch tv in the living room and tried to turn on the light, it would also turn on the light in the master bedroom and wake me up. I reached out to the mgmt company via vrbo and text and it took over 24 hours for a response and 3 days for them to attempt to address the issue but the issue was not fixed.
