Charming cabin on Lake Martin –

Great lake views with windows everywhere. This waterfront property comes with a large deck, private dock and floating dock steps from the house. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths / a very open kitchen and living area. Master Bedroom with doors to the deck. Outdoor furniture and lounge chairs. Screened in porch with table and chairs. The house is close to Kowaliga Marina and Restaurant, Chimney Rock, A mile from Anchor Bay Marina, Spring House restaurant and more. Some say it is the best location on the lake. You are welcome to bring your boat. House can comfortably hold six guests. It is a quiet neighborhood so we ask that you respect our wonderful neighbors. No pets allowed.

Without a doubt the best guest we have ever had in three years. And we have had many great guests. The house looked as though the cleaner had already been there when they left. Such a delightful couple. So kind and considerate. Any host would be blessed to have them stay at their home.

Great trip!

The cottage was perfect for our stay! We spent most of our time outside. The screen porch, huge deck, and dock were great. We brought our small boat, kayaks, and floats. We had the best time relaxing in the water!

Weekend Stay

This is was an awesome home with an incredible view. We attended the football game in Auburn so it was convenient only being 45 minutes away. It was also close to many hiking trails on the Lake. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great time!

Beautiful, clean property. When you sit in the living area it's like you are sitting right on the water. We brought our boat and cooked several meals. Everything we needed was there.

Adorable house with friendly neighbors! Houses are close together on the cove so not much privacy….but still a wonderful spot. East location to rent a boat and enjoy the lake. Love Lake Martin!

The house is just as described, older home that is well loved. Just pack a bathing suit, and enjoy the beautiful views from the dock. Betsy is a great host and very responsive. You will not be disappointed if you book this property.

Bride suite

Our daughter was getting married at the Church of Pines and we had the reception at the Lodge at Cocktail Slough. I reserved this cute and spacious house so my daughter and bridesmaids could get ready. The living space kept us all together comfortably while getting ready and made for some pretty photos that we will have for a lifetime. I would definitely visit here again. Beautiful home!

Girls Trip

The cabin was exactly as described in the description on website! It was clean and decorated so cute with plenty of room for four people!! It had an awesome screened in porch with a nice patio table to sit at and enjoy!! The boat dock was roomy to layout on as well as the floating dock. It even had a little fan to help cool you off! The metal steps leading down into the water were so nice as you did not have to worry about slipping down. Overall we had a great time here and would choose this rental for another girls trip!!

We are from Northern Virginia and bought the house when our son decided to become a Auburn Tiger. Though he graduated in 2023 we love the lake and can't seem to part with it.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

You can't beat the location. Both where it is situated on the lake and that it is steps away from the dock. We just had a new deck installed in January 2023 and a new boathouse in December 2023. We have recently renovated the guest bathroom. And, completely overhauled the plumbing and in November 2023 installed a new HVAC system

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have the best neighbors! A new grocery store is going in down the street to make shopping more convenient. We are 45 minutes from Montgomery, 45 minutes from Auburn and 25 minutes from Alexander City. Lots of shopping in all three. Plus Eclectic a few miles away is a charming town.
