Intimate Getaway in Heart of the Poconos W/Jacuzzy!

In the middle of the lakes this modern house offers a peaceful getaway. Located in the heart of Long Pond PA close to Kalahari Waterpark, all major attractions and shopping areas. With a quiet and safe backyard filled with comfortable seating areas, lounge chairs, hammock, playground AND Jacuzzi where you can relax and have fun with friends and family. Enjoy the main beach lake area within a minute walking distance.

The safe community also offers in and outdoor pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, butterfly garden, beach and more. All 4 rooms have freshly cleaned towels and bed sheets. The house is also child friendly with a crib, Room 2 playpen and a swing. A picture is worth a thousand words. So, come and enjoy it!

(The safety cameras are only installed in the outside front and the side of the house so you can enjoy your privacy in the backyard.)

Weekend getaway

Property was perfect for a few days up in the Poconos. Close to many attractions and the house had everything you could think of for a weekend away. Would definitely visit again.

We had such an amazing time at this house! The hosts were amazing and made everything about our stay super easy and enjoyable! The rooms were decorated well and the beds are so comfy. Game room and hot tube were a huge plus! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful All Around

My family stayed here for our family reunion this weekend. The house is gorgeous; the beds were comfortable, great cookware, lots of space and all the TV apps you need. Would highly recommend!

Made our Xmas extra special!

We chose to rent the house to celebrate Christmas and I don’t have a single regret. This house was beautiful, clean, and the owner was super responsive. We enjoyed the time by the fireplace, the karaoke machine, and the hot tub!

It's a good house

The house was perfect for our family. There is a seperate area in the game room vs. the living room where the adults & kids had their own separate space at night. The house also comes with clean towels that's on a shelf above the laundry area; so it's one less thing to pack. House is 15 mins away from Camelback so convenient for anyone who's looking to ski & enjoy Camelback activities. Host & owner was responsive & kind.

Just like home…

The home was cozy but spacious for our group of 5. The game room was a hit for our teen and young adults. The property looked and felt very clean. The owner thought of every detail to have inside the home from umbrellas by the door in case of rain to skewers in a kitchen drawer to bottles of soap, lotion and shampoo in the baths and everything else you could think of that you might need. The outdoor areas looked very appealing but the snow on the ground removed our temptation to go outside and explore. The back a side yard have a park-like feel. We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay and felt very comfortable.

A great getaway

Beautiful home! We loved our stay here! My family and I were looking for a home close to Camelback and this was a perfect hidden gem (about 15mins away). We drove in during an ice storm and surrounding roadways were plowed well-maintained at all times we had no issues. A pathway was shoveled for us as well. There’s a Beautiful lake up the block and the icicle trees all around were pretty to look at. On our way out we saw our neighbors ice fishing (something we hope to do next winter visit). The location of the house is private, has lots of space, 4 bedrooms, and game room (my kids LOVED the karaoke machine). The owner was very efficient with answering any questions we had (before + during our stay). We didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend to stay here! The only recommendations I have to the owner would be to put a coat rack up, we had to dangle our jackets and snowsuits over the stairs balcony and also, would of loved a full length mirror.

Perfect get away..It's worth it!!!

I honestly don't know where to begin. The pictures show one thing, the experience is everlasting. When I booked, I had no idea what I was in for. This home is amazing and extremely well kept. The decor is so well planned. The host was AMAZING. The house has everything you need and more. We did our first family getaway with a mixture of toddlers, teens and adults. Everyone had an amazing time. The game room was the highlight for the teens. The play yard in the back kept the toddlers entertained. The kitchen is well stocked with utensil, pots, plates and more. We enjoyed game night and sitting as a family at the large dining table. The deck was so comfortable to sit and watch the deers and enjoy nature. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The house is close enough too enjoy a family day of shopping. Watching the sunrise is a must. It is breath taking. The host thought about everything for example a folding crib, the gate for stairs, wine rack and small/large pots. Its the details. The host replies to all messages in a timely manner. There is so much seating to just enjoy your surroundings. I look forward to planning another getaway.

Never Again-Beware

Upon arrival and entering the house all went well. However, as the days progressed things started to reveal itself. Firstly, there was only one room with air conditioning. Our family vacation was in July so you can imagine how hot it was at night especially for the children. This issue was addressed to the owners and they said that there was nothing that they could do and if we don’t like it we can just leave. Which I believe was extremely rude. A possible solution would have been a better response, however the owner said that no one has ever complained of it being hot in the summer. Unbelievably. Secondly, the children were playing at the playground in the yard when three of them with an adult was bitten up by bees from a Bee Nest in the little playhouse which was advertised as an added attraction for this rental. The owner was informed of this incident and did absolutely NOTHING. The owner said no one has ever mentioned about a bee nest before. They did nothing the next day or while we were there to fix this problem. Imagine if someone was allergic to bee stings? The other problem we found out two days before we left was that the BBQ grill was not even working. We ended up baking the chicken after hours of waiting for the grill to cook. Not the kind of house you would want to vacation with your family.

Needs a lot of updating… no AC

First of all the house was very clean which was a plus. The huge downside was there is no central air conditioner or even window units and the windows are missing some screens so it was VERY HOT and stagnant with barely any air circulation from the ceiling fan. At least provide more than one room fan!! Thank goodness it was only 79 when we were there. We arrived after 7 and the house was just so uncomfortably hot. The area is nice so thankfully we were only around for a short time in the house. It was just very uncomfortable and as a potential renter I wish somewhere this would have been addressed. The other downside is there are barely any kitchen supplies for cooking so be sure to pack some if you plan on cooking much. The other HUGE drawback is you have to remove your own trash either to their community dumpster, a 5 minute drive they said but you’d ALSO have to go back and return the pass!!! We opted to just take ours home in the trunk because I felt this SHOULD be a service provided in the $200 cleaning fee and the hassle of having to go back was annoying !! The broken planters in the driveway, are a potential hazard for little ones… the place overall is just in need of some TLC and for the price they charged I expected more. The check out process says to turn Ac/ heat down I asked the owner where the ac was and they responded I’m sorry do you mean air conditioner!! What does ac stand for in the instructions??!! Yes AIR CONDITIONER… just an honest review

Amazing Stay!!!

I rented this property to host my sister's Bachelorette weekend (9 adults). Preparation for the stay was fantastic - the host was incredibly responsive and helpful in answering questions about the area. The house was as listed - gorgeous and open with very comfortable beds (bunkbeds are FULL SIZE :D), clean sheets and towels, spacious dining area and a lovely outdoor patio. We were indeed walking distance to a lake with a designated swimming area. There was no noise from neighbors and plenty of parking. Very close to Poconos destinations (Kalahari, Wineries, Jubilee Diner). My only caution to future visitors is to not rely on Uber/Lyft in this area, as drivers are scarce; however, our experience is more a reflection of the area rather than this house/host specifically. Overall wonderful stay! Definitely recommend.

Charming Home

We stayed for a weekend at the property and had a very enjoyable time. The house is absolutely beautiful, was very clean and the owner was responsive to any inquires. Home had everything you need to cook and plenty of dishware. Backyard is perfect for a fire, grilling and relaxing. This was an amazing experience I recommend to anyone that want to spend quality time with family and friends. Thanks again to owner.

Great long weekend getaway!!

We appreciated the clean, quiet property. It was within a short drive to all the Pocono attractions we wanted to visit over a long weekend. We even discovered a couple that we had not found previously! The owners were kind and patient with our questions.
