Very private, quiet, spacious, and cozy house with a lovely backyard and patio, surrounded by a nature paradise in Fort Lauderdale. The home is in the beautiful Riverland neighborhood right on a canal connecting to the South Fork New River. You will not believe that you are staying in a city; 10 min to the Hard Rock Casino, 7min to Las Olas Blvd. in downtown Fort Lauderdale, 15min to beaches, 6min to Fort Lauderdale Airport, and 30min to Miami and Miami International Airport.
Home sleeps 2 in master bedroom on a king size. The house has a full kitchen with cooking hardware, Keurig coffee machine with complementary coffee, washer, and dryer. The master bedroom has a cozy reading nook with a small library to choose from. The entire house has fast wireless internet. The living room and master bedroom both have TVs with Youtube TV for standard channels, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video for your viewing pleasure.

The rental home is the guest house. The house is located on a two-home property. The host resides in the main house and will address any issues that might arise promptly. There is room to park one car. If you need to park two cars, it can be arranged.

Overall such a great place to stay!

The pictures and description were accurate and the place itself was cozy, clean and unique. It was great to find a place in the area we needed to be at this price point with a fenced in yard for our dog. Would highly recommend staying here and next time we're in the area, we'd love to stay again if Erika & Pavlo will have us. Thank you again and take care!

Jungle paradise

Our stay was a quiet relaxing retreat. We visited for three weeks. Visited all beaches..spring breakers were very quiet this year. Visited I think every mall..went to buttery fly are..can’t remember the name..which was great..lots of old tree there also. We had a great vacation and even drove to key west!

Fort Lauderdale Gem

Our stay was necessitated by Hurricane Ian. We were anxious and stressed but found a respite here. The cottage was so comfortable and clean! Erika and Pavlo could not have been kinder, making us feel right at home! When we have a chance for a real vacation we will go back!

Amazing Hosts!

Pavlo and his wife are amazing! They took great care to watch over our daughter as she was waiting to get into her graduate housing. Not only was the property just as it is pictured, new and CLEAN, they also went out of their way to share a meal with her and to keep her safe during a tropical storm. On a five star rating, this is a 7 star place!

A Quiet Relaxing Paradise

Erica and Pavlo are both wonderful thoughtful hosts. The property is a spacious sunny guest house adjacent to their home. The house was very relaxing and an ideal location for temporary housing while I was condo shopping. The best feature was an in unit washer and dryer. When I left my 15 day visit, I left with clean clothing. The price is very competitive considering how large and updated the house is. If this property is available when I do renovations on my condo, I’ll definitely reserve it. I highly encourage all readers of my review to check out Erica’s and Pavlo’s guest house.

We had this booked in Aug of 2025 and when arriving on check in day (12/19/25), were told the unit wasn't available due to family of the owners staying there. We understand mixups happen, but in speaking with two different people on property that day they insisted "we don't use VRBO and there is no way you could have this reserved through that platform." We had corresponded with the owner upon booking 4 months previously and showed the messages to them, but they insisted this was somehow OUR mistake. The real problem becomes that we are now needing a 7 night place to stay, with only a hour's notice, we have our pets with us, and it's Christmas week. We had chosen this rental due to proximity to the family we were visiting and them allowing our pets. The only option we found was significantly farther away from where we needed to be, cost MUCH more money, and didn't' feel nearly as safe of an area. When the initial refund was sent, the email from VRBO stated we were receiving approx 400 extra from the owners, presumably to compensate for the last minute inconveniences. VRBO never actually sent those extra funds, and we had to open a case with them to even get the booking fees back. So we were still out the extra money for a last minute rental. VRBO was horrible to deal with on returning of the fees. I cannot comment on the rental itself b/c we never entered it. My advice to future renters: be sure you communicate DIRECTLY with the owners the week of arrival.

Amazing hosts (Perfect home to recover after surgery)

This young couple treated us like family. Since I was recovering from surgery, the completely handicap acssible walk in shower was so necessary. We felt so special when they brought a homemade delicious meal for the two of us. A lovely vase of beautiful flowers was also so thoughtful. If we need to return in the future, here's where we hope to stay.

Truly a jungle in Paradise. It was everything and beyond anything I expected. Heaven on Earth!

I truly enjoyed and loved this property. It was the first night spent with my soulmate. Everything was perfect. I’m so glad I rented out this location. Truly a Jungle in Paradise. Heaven on Earth. The owners were great, everything was great. Will definitely be back.

Southern Outpost

We traveled from Ohio for surgery in Fort Lauderdale and needed a place to stay and recuperate! This property fit the bill, the Hosts were amazing people ! The property was beautiful in a great setting, stores and restaurants close by, we could not have asked for a more homey place for our stay. This will be our go to place for future stays!

We highly recommend this property. It's so beautiful and secluded but close to everything. The hosts were amazing and did an outstanding job with the decor. They were super nice and extremely helpful. Really glad we chose to stay here.
