Fall in love with the beautiful KY lake views. This inviting cottage is perfect for a couples getaway, girl’s trip, or any retreat. With a large back deck for outdoor dining and lounging to enjoy the beautiful Kentucky sunset, kick back and relax in this calm, serene space. *NEW* There is now a walkway directly from the house to the lake! Tie on a float, take a dip in the lake, or just relax on the dock! *IMPORTANT* The boat slip is for private use only, however, just down the road in either direction are public boat ramps.

The house was exactly like the pictures. The view of the lake was amazing! The fishing was fun. Unfortunately the windows inside and outside were covered with dirt and spiderwebs. The decks and stair seating area were not usable because of the dirt and everything was covered with spiderwebs and bugs. The stairs leading down to the dock had a lot of poison ivy/oak on it so you had to be very careful what you touched. The dock could really use a good cleaning. Everything outside basically looked like the pictures attached. I was so sad about that. I was so looking forward to sitting on the deck to watch the sunsets and enjoy the view but was not possible.

We will be back soon!

We came down for an anniversary trip, my husband myself and our two girls (8 &4). We had the best time! We swam off the dock for a bit then went to Murray and over to Tennessee. We only came down for the weekend but we loved the little house so much. Our girls didn’t want to leave and neither did we. We plan to come back for a longer stay soon! Absolutely loved this little house!

Girls Trip

We loved how cozy the property was with lots of seating and proximity to the lake. It wasn’t far from town and we were able to visit some shops and the farmers market as well. The neighbors were also very friendly.

Our stay

We all had a blast. Evan if u dont have a boat while you are there we sat on the dock an in the water for hours. Beautiful veiw cant beat it

Good for short stay

Not the cleanest stay. I don’t think anyone had been there in a while. Views were beautiful and location was ok. About a 20 min drive to anywhere.

awesome girls weekend getaway

I set this up for my wife's birthday so she could have a weekend getaway with some of her friends. The house was beautiful, clean and the girls had lots of fun.

Relaxing Escape

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lake house! Everything we could have needed was supplied and easily accessible. Entry was quick and easy, thoughtful communication from the owner, and an especially beautiful view of the lake!

Fishing trip

Very relaxing didnt catch very many fish, the water was too shallow could not fish from the bank. Too many spiders is the only issue we had.

Our stay

This was a great place for a girls weekend however we were very disappointed that we could not swim. Beautiful dock but no ladder. No way to get out of water. If you can't do steps very well this is not the place for you. Otherwise is was ok.

Too many bugs

Its often said that the little things speaks volumes. The owner fail to do the littles thing. They are four issues with this property and only the owner had no control over. 1 The master bedroom has no ventilation. It was 93 when we got there and that room was hot. Just a simple window unit or a portable ac unit would work just fine. Maybe in the spring and fall you dont need one. But the summer you definitely need some cooler ventilation. 2 The spyder problem on both upper and lower deck is bad. It makes the decks useless. Sure theirs a dime store broom to knock down the webs. I sit down in the chair one started crawing up my leg after knocking all webs down. That needs to be address. 3 Down stairs the main door out to dock. The screen door is broken and just hanging there. So when I open that door to go out on the deck and to the dock. Mayflys were on the door and flew in If I would had known I wouldnt have open the door. 4 This one the owner has no control over. I have never seen that many mayflys. The owner did say that their are thousands of mayflys and they were right. But i got that notice 36 hours before i could cancel my trip. They are so bad that couldnt walk to my car without having at least six stuck to my face. Just taking out the trash you got attacked. The owner did fail on the little things and made trip miserable.

Everything was fine except you need to put a ladder on the dock. We would of loved to been able to swim. You also need shades in the bathroom and bedroom upstairs.

Construction

I rented this for my son and fiancée for a getaway. He advised The property was clean a nice view but advised there were workers there during his stay repairing/building the dock I would have not scheduled for those days. He said they heard from the time They checked in at 4:00pm until dark hammering, drilling etc as well as the next day of his two day stay. This information should be on the listing for others to know and make the decision if they want to rent with the disturbance or better yet not to offer the rental when this is going on. The property owner was very responsive when messaging. I would rent again if I am aware of issues in advance

Beautiful Lakeview

Home has many stairs to the front door js if you or someone with you has issues with stairs. Inside the home is nicely decorated. The home owners done an amazing job on that part! Nice view of the lake, from downstairs & upstairs balcony's. We were the 1st to rent it on here.. The A/C didn't work it was uncomfortable, but it was only a night stay & She appologized & suppose to refund me half my money back. I am sure she will fix it. Because everything in this home is very modern style & brand new. This home is nice if it wasn't for that issue.
