We would like invite you to enjoy our home as your upcoming vacation destination. Come watch the sunrise, sunset and the waves dance on the beach from multiple decks, the screened porch or on the comfortable couch. An oasis awaits at your private pool and hot tub. The Rodanthe Pier is only a block away.

Island Time's recent renovations include a kitchen remodel with new cabinets and countertop, new flooring on the first level and fresh paint throughout.

The house also offers an outdoor shower, fish-cleaning table, carport with a picnic table and cornhole boards.

On the first level, Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, deck access and a TV. Bedroom #2 has queen bed, a TV, and a DVD player. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed with a twin trundle, TV and a DVD player. A hall bath is close to the laundry. New flooring throughout first level and new carpet on the stairs installed 2022.

Island Time impresses on the top floor living area with beach views, tall ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and a fully remodeled bath with a tiled walk-in shower. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, a nearby dining area, and access to a screened porch. A large, furnished sundeck provides amazing views of the beach. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and access to a sound-side deck for admiring the beautiful sunsets. The quiet and safe neighborhood roads provide a walkable beach access for everyone and should make Island Time your top vacation pick.

Things to know:
Cleaning Fee of $150 includes bed linens (bed's made) and bath towels.

A private pool will be available for guests to use from April to mid October.

Maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with $150 fee per dog per week.

This property is managed by Steve and Debra Franklin.

Parking: Please park in the driveway, maximum 4 vehicles. Parking on the lawn is not allowed as this may cause damage to the home's septic system.
Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires an unique code to enter. This code is provided prior to your stay and is reset after each guest's vacation.

You must be 26 years or older to rent this property.

Great place! We loved this vacation home

We had an awesome vacation in this home. We loved the pool and the house has all the amenities you could need and is super close to the beach. Very clean. Plenty of yard for the dogs. Beds are comfortable. We would definitely love to come back!

Awesome home and location!

The home was so comfortable and beautiful. The location and distance from beach was perfect! We played ping pong, corn hole, and used the pool every day. Looking forward to coming back!The owners were so accommodating and on anything we needed. Who could ask for more??!! Thank you again.

Beach Bliss!

The home was exactly as listed. The layout is perfect with plenty of space inside and out. It was very clean and well kept. We used a local company that delivers and picks up beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach cart. This was a great way to haul everything back and forth to the beach.

Excellent experience again

This is the 3rd time my family has stayed at this house as it never disappoints! The house has plenty of space and most everything you'd need for your trip. We especially enjoyed the pool this year as it was so hot and the pool was so refreshing. It is so close to the beach (1-2 min walk), so you can go down to the ocean for a bit and back to the house when you need a break from the sun. The decks are wonderful and we enjoyed the views. Overall, I would recommend this house for location, amenities, the awesome owners, and affordability. Thanks for another great stay!

Island Time was just as great as all of the other reviews stated! Quiet location close to the beach, and convenient to grocery shopping for your week's needs. The house is clean, well decorated, and the beds are comfortable. Probably the most well-equipped kitchen I've seen in a house that size. Steve was super-responsive to messages, and had our one minor issue resolved within an hour. Absolutely recommend!

We arrived a little early and contacted Steve via VIRBO and he informed us that the property had been cleaned and allowed us to start our vacation before check in time. This is huge if you have two young kids who have been in the car for a long trip. One of the hot tub deck steps came loose and he had it fixed the next morning. I would say reviews of the house from previous guests were accurate and if you’re looking for a quiet beach house, this is a good one. There are great ocean views on most of the deck. The pool was pretty private and provided a nice spot for everyone to hang out. There were three adults and two children on our trip and we felt that we had plenty of room. If I’m ever back in Rodanthe, I would book this house again.

My family vacationed at this property in Rodanthe for a week. We were looking for something that was pet friendly, with a pool and close to the beach. This property checked all those boxes PLUS had a hot tub! Lots of porch space for the dogs, we loved the screened in porch area and even had food and water bowls for the dogs there. We did bring our own crates as the property didnt have any, but the rooms are spacious enough for a XL crate. The pool was great and has tons of extra floats and accessories. Pool area was fenced in so the dogs could hang with us there too. Very short walk to the beach and pier. Property has lots of parking. The porch swing was nice and theres a table downstairs for outside eating. Has a charcoal grill and fish cleaning station. Upstairs porch gives a great sunset view of the sound. There were 7 of us who stayed comfortably at this home. We will definitely book here again when staying in Rodanthe.

I would 💯 stay here again. The house is like being at home . The beds are super comfortable. We were able to bring our little dogs and had our very own pool , which was so nice and a hop skip and a jump from the ocean . Also the local coffee shops and restaurants are very close .

Beach week bliss

We had a wonderful week staying at “Island Time”. The house was perfect for our family (3 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs) and the proximity to the beach was unbelievable. The views from every deck were breathtaking, my kids loved the pool, little details in the house were a pleasure to witness and communicating with Steve was effortless. Thanks for a great week. Wonderful family vacation home

We had a wonderful family vacation renting this home. It is close to the beach. The house has everything you'll ever need to make your Rodanthe visit the best ever. The owners are lovely and very easy to contact. They are on top of everything do everything to make your visit the best. The area is very laid back and close to great restaurants.

Summer Fun!!

We had a wonderful stay. We loved Island Time, it was perfect for our family of 6 and doggie. We loved the pool, hot tub, decks, and chairs. Also, labeling the light switches is brilliant!!! We had a perfect vacation and everyone had a great time!!!

Island Time Highly recommended for families

House was well stocked with kitchen accessories: plates, cups, silverware, utensils, etc. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and had all that was needed. Beautiful view with good seating from the many decks. Great pool area, fenced in. Short walk to ocean. Highly recommend for small families looking for a cozy home feeling!

Awesome Views, Great House, Great Host

Even though this location is technically not on the ocean; it sure feels like it. We loved sitting on the deck watching and hearing the waves crash on shore. The kids were in the pool twice a day. Beds were comfortable; kitchen is recently updated and has newer appliances and well stocked with silverware and plates for our family. Steve was very good with communicating and answering questions. Overall; we were very happy with our first visit to OBX and will return again.

Loved staying at Island Time!!!

We had a great time. This is the first time we have ever booked a house and it far exceeded our expectations! It was our grandkids first trip to the ocean and they loved it. We loved the pool and hot tub. We spent more time in them than I thought we would. Everything was very clean and well organized. The washer and dryer was a very good feature as we did laundry while we were at the pool and had less to wash when we got home. The kitchen was well equipped, we had pasta night and we even made cookies with kids one night! We all loved it and didn't want to leave!!! We will definitely be back!!!Thank You!!!

Nice house…sofa was in need of a good cleaning but not unexpected in a property that allows pets. Beautiful and well-stocked kitchen. Great pool and hot tub (although maneuvering the hot tub cover on and off in the small enclosed porch is very difficult)! Easy beach access and better views than we expected. Homeowner quick to respond and very pleasant!
