The Lodge is located at the entrance to the Cataract Falls State Recreation Area. Home to the largest waterfalls in the Midwest. The Parkview Suite is the largest suite in the lodge and located at the center of the lodge. If more space is needed ask about the bonus room that has an additional Murphy bed, gaming table, couch and TV. Inquire about renting the entire lodge for events, sleeps 14.

The room and property were in excellent condition. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. The kitchen was fully equipped for making your own meals . A short walk to the upper falls and a longer but manageable walk to the lower falls.

Peaceful, perfect, beside park

Wonderful place to stay. Always clean and great place to relax. We appreciate having a quiet place to stay when visiting family. Bill and Becky are attentive hosts and easy to communicate with.

Indiana/cataract falls vacation

My family and I were traveling through Indiana for our family vacation/road trip and chose to stay here because their pics looked very well kept. It was a great stay and we felt safe there. It was nice to stay so close to see the waterfalls at the cataract falls.

Great Cabin for Cataract Falls

the unit was great and was a great home base for exploring the falls. Especially enjoyed the shower, well furnished kitchen, and comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing weekend

Enjoyable weekend away. Very cozy unit with beautiful views of the sunrise. Unit has everything you need for a getaway. Very well equipped kitchen. Bed was very comfy. Thank you, Bill and Becky. Will rebook in the future.

Was absolutely beautiful and clean inside and out. Interior well supplied and the decor was awesome. Outside was heaven with personal deck fire pit etc, not to mention a covered bridge and falls basically in front yard

The property was what we wanted. Close to hiking, Bloomington and our granddaughter plus the lovely falls. Rural but not isolated. Perfect.

Just lovely...

This property is clean, comfortable, and has all the comforts of home. It is close to the state parks. We enjoyed the Cataract Falls, as well as the Lieber State Park facilities. Our children were happy and so were we. Communication with Bill was quick and efficient. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful locaton

Loved the location by the falls! Located perfectly between Mac Cormick's Creek State Park and Lieber Rec. Area. The kids loved swimming in the lake over the pool. We didn't go to your pool. Thanks for the invite. Maybe next time. The place was perfect for the 5 of us and had a great time. We'll be back. Thank you so much!! Debbie

Great for two!

My friend and I met in the Indianapolis area for a girls weekend when she had a conference - and it’s halfway for each of us. We booked this due to value/price and wanting to try something different. The falls and surround area are amazing - make sure to see the upper and lower. The owners are great in communication and made access easy. The rental itself was clean and provided everything we needed. It is not Indianapolis adjacent, which it doesn’t claim to be, but the driving didn’t bother us. Just be aware of that, and it is obvious from the map. The pull down bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all necessities and a couple extras. The bathrooms were very tidy. Great for 2 nights for two friends. I could see two couples making it work as well or a small family. Probably not ideal for very young children, speaking as a mom. But a great property and I’d recommend it to friends. It was cold so we went able to utilize the beautiful deck and outdoor areas which would be wonderful in spring/summer.

Great little suite

The suite was exactly as stated in other reviews! I figured it might be noisy as its very close to entrance to Cataract, but it's just far enough away that you don't hear any noise! Newly built fountain/firepit/pavilion area was wonderful & I wish I had it at my own house. 😀 Very clean & friendly environment! Actually got to meet Bill, that was a nice addition just to know he was available if we needed anything or had problems. Our only issues were figuring out how to work lock codes on door..lol..& walls between suites were very thin, we could hear the people next door snoring but was ok as we also snore.😂 Would definitely stay again!

It was super clean, very relaxing and really enjoyed walking through the park checking out the waterfalls and the covered bridge and my four-year-old granddaughter just loved it

Cute & Cozy

This was an amazing place to stay! The views were beautiful and it was peaceful. We were able to walk to the covered bridge and Cataract Falls from our place. The outdoor area off the back was exceptionally nice. Had the weather been better, we would’ve utilized that. But I could see that being a great place to sit in the Summer. The general store is right down the road and it’s a neat place to visit. Overall the place was perfect and can’t wait to go back!
