Enjoy the peace and serenity of 80 feet of Lake Michigan private beach frontage. Perched on top of a dune, this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home will offer everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. Located 10 minutes from Silver Lake State Park and Dune, and conveniently in between the towns of Whitehall and Pentwater. Walk down the steps and across the private dune to reach our private beach.

Wonderful Beach Week

We had a relaxing, rejuvenating week at the Lake Michigan house. This year, bird watching was especially exciting! We observed a pair of bald eagles busy on the beach every day. Magnificent sunsets and trail walks made for a wonderful stay.

Another Memorable Vacation at Lake Michigan!

This was our third year and we are already booked for next year! The owners are very helpful. The house is extremely clean, but best of all the beach is spectacular! There is a walk to get to the beach, but my husband and I are senior citizens and we make it down to the beach every day. We are looking forward to our stay again next year!

Family vacation

The house was amazing. It had everything you could ask for. The steps were a bit haunting for myself and my mother due to we have limited mobility. But that didn’t stop us from enjoying the beach; we took our time and made it ❤️

Wonderful home on Lake Michigan with awesome lake views and access. Check in was a breez,e the owners were very responsive when we needed to contact them. The house had everything we needed, and the private beach had all the necessary amenities. Lovely, updated appliances in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and extra pillows. Lots of fun places nearby to check out shops or grab a good meal, but most of all a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake! Loved sunsets from the deck and visiting around the firepit.

Magical Week at Lake Michigan

My family experienced the wonder of a week on the shore of Lake Michigan at this beautiful house. The property is perfectly set up for indoor games and gathering, a very practical kitchen for family cooking, and a beautiful, private expanse of beach. We took long walks in the surrounding woods and finished our beach days with a camp fire near the water. It was relaxing and rejuvenating for all ages!

Another Great Stay at Haven on the Hill

This was our fourth year at Haven. I think it was the best! We had a wonderful time. We don’t even leave for our whole week. We just enjoy the beach and views so much, we have no need. It is always super clean! Kathleen is very responsive and always available. My husband and I are senior citizens, so I hope we will be able to continue to make the walk to the lake. It is a great vacation for our family with many memories!

Wonderful getaway!

We enjoyed our time at this property. It is in a unique and beautiful wooded setting. It does require managing several stairs to get to the property, so keep that in mind when booking. But once you get there, the views are beautiful! The house is well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed our time on the beach. When it rained, we shopped a bit in Pentwater and did a dune ride in Silver Lake which was a blast. The TV does not have basic cable, so bring your Netflix password! Thank you for letting us vacation in your beautiful getaway!

Home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach! The lake was beautiful and having our own private area was wonderful! No crowds, just seagulls and the occasional couple strolling the beach! The water was wonderful! I can’t say enough about how everyone enjoyed our stay! Kathleen had everything we could needed right there so no hauling stuff back and forth. There are stairs that would be hard for a disabled person but for us the walk through the dunes was an adventure! There are trails through the nature preserve in front of the house that are beautiful! We so enjoyed visiting the farmers market and The Fox Barn winery. Can’t wait to visit again!

Summer Fun

This was our second year on the dune. We love the private beach and that is what keeps us coming back! We plan to return next year also. It is a ways down to the water, but once you are there, it is well worth it. The house is clean and spacious for our family. We had great weather and enjoyed our week!

Stunning views - Beautiful accommodations - Communicative Owners

This is truly a special property. The view of Lake Michigan is breathtaking, and the dunes ecosystem (dune grasses and tidal pools) on the path to the beach add a truly unique experience from other beachfront rentals. The lake house is gorgeous and well-appointed. The owners are quick to answer questions, flexible and communicative. I give 5 stars on everything except the accuracy of the online listing - not because I think it was done on purpose, but because I think it's difficult to capture in pictures just how steep (and many) the stairs are that take you down to the narrow, long bridge that leads to the front door. My group of middle-aged friends were fully capable of navigating them, but had we brought some other friends who have limitations, they might not have been able to manage it, and we wouldn't have realized it until we got there. Additionally, the path to the beach also involves navigating several flights of steep stairs. Good exercise, but probably not possible for all. If stairs are not a deterrent, you will not regret renting this beautiful lake house. Again, it's a very special place.

Relaxing and Beautiful

We loved our stay and took full advantage of the private beach, sunsets and hiking trails. It truly is a place to disconnect, relax and enjoy time with family. The house provided plenty of sleeping room and kitchen was well stocked (loved the extra touch with the drink fridge!). Beach chairs and sand toys already at the house made packing easy. Our family is already planning a return for next year!

Perfection

This is an exquisite beach home perfect for a family and friend get together. Offers something for all ages. Picture endless beach days followed by reminiscing over a grilled dinner on the deck, capped off with admiring a stunning sunset and the sound of lapping waves helping you drift off to sleep. A beautiful home that is clearly loved and cared for by its owners. Highly recommended!

A wonderful beach experience!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and well maintained. We spent a lot of time at the large private beach. The sunsets and view from the house were spectacular!

Beautiful view, private beach, great host

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach house. The private beach was wonderful!!! We highly recommend experiencing the Mac Woods Dune Rides and Silver Lake Pizza Factory during your stay. The house was beautiful, the lake was perfect, and the host was responsive and even messaged to see if there was anything we needed. We will definitely be returning!!

Lake Michigan Vacation

Our family group of 8, 6 adults and 2 teenagers, were extremely happy with the house. It was very clean, updated, well stocked with supplies for cooking meals. The beds were very comfortable. We were thrilled with the views and varying nature of Lake Michigan all through the day, and the sunsets made the visit special. We enjoyed a bonfire on the beach, swimming, walking along the shore. Also the famous chicken wings from Silver Lake. Our host was very communicative and did a wonderful job of preparing us for our first experience of renting a vacation home. I would highly recommend this lovely home for your vacation spot.
