Beautifully remodeled 2 .5 bedroom 2.5 bath home located directly on the Intercoastal waterway on Palm Island / Don Pedro Island. Incredibly spacious, sleeps 8. Short golf cart ride or walk to pristine beaches.
This newly remodeled home features a King Suite with a large private bathroom.There is a bonus room off the king suite with a twin daybed and a twin trundle bed. This room also has a full sized crib.
The second bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom.
Also upstairs, is a giant screened in balcony (300 sq ft) off the master suite.
The Florida room boast a queen memory foam sleeper sofa as well as overstuffed couches and lounge chairs. All three decks are furnished with seating and lounging options.
Located on the most desirable road in Palm island, "Dock of the Bay" has the largest dock on the island. The Dock is deep and is only 90 seconds from direct access to the Intercoastal waterway. There are no bridges. We have many beach chairs and some toys there is also a 2 person kayak. Come make your next stay at "The Dock of the Bay"

Tim was a great host! Helped us with several questions during our stay. The kids (10, 12, 14) had a ball playing off the dock on the paddle boards and kayak. We had beautiful weather (high 60s, low 70s) in mid-Feb. Come on down if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat!

We had a wonderful time! The house was very clean and exactly as described. It is a very well stocked rental and we appreciated all of the family friendly amenities. Our favorite property on Palm Island!

This property has been wonderful for our small family gatherings! This was our second time here and everyone enjoyed their stay! Our kids (ages 2, 6, 8) made many memories and really enjoyed having breakfast in the tiki hut, and catching crabs on the dock. The owner is also wonderful to deal with for any questions about the property. We can’t wait to return!

Dock of the bay. Was amazing. Very clean and very comfortable. We had an amazing time on the water and on the island. We highly recommend this property and visiting Palm Island.

What a great location and a great property. Tim went out of his way to check on it after the storm for us. nicely decorated very clean couldn’t ask for anything nicer very updated. Everything worked properly.

Amazing stay! Great location!

My family and I wanted a getaway before school starts back up. This was our 5th time staying on the island and this house met all of our needs! It was very quiet and peaceful. Tim was an amazing host and although our time was cut short due to a storm, we made the best memories. We will be back sooner than later!

Great house.

The house is like new and very well stocked with everything I needed. Dock for the boat is right off the inter coastal which makes boating easy. Owner very easy to work with and even let me check in early.

Great Place!

This is a great house and the location, especially if you are a boater, is fantastic, literally 30 seconds to the Intracoastal Waterway yet boat is completely protected from boat wakes etc. awesome Dockage, great bayou to swim off the dock too. House is very nice, well equipped, and the whole process with Tim, the owner, was as easy as could be. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful despite Red Tide!

This was a perfect house for a family, including a pet. It had everything we needed, and then some, although the beach was not what we had hoped with the red tide that had nothing to do with the owner, we were thankful the house was so wonderful and provided all the fun and everything else we needed.

Tropical Paradise

We rented this house with another small family - it was perfect for the 7 of us. It is well appointed with everything you might need for your stay. The housr even has a binder full of contacts and resources to enhance your visit (like boat and golf cart rentals). The owner was really responsive and easy to communicate with. We've been staying on the island for years, we'll definitely be back to rent this house again.

The Perfect Getaway

We had such a wonderful time here. The house was spotless. Everything is new and in great condition. The house layout is great for family time where everyone has enough space to spread out. We were able to take our boat out each day when was the highlight of our trip. This truly is the best water access you could ask for when staying on the island! Many thanks to Tim for being a super host and having excellent communication with us. We look forward to staying again next year!

Amazing family getaway

We were so lucky to find this amazing property! We weren't sure we would be able to find a place to accommodate our boat, pets and teenagers but we were so happy with every aspect of Dock of the Bay. The dock was great for boating, kayaking and paddle boarding as well as for having our dogs dive off the dock an endless number of times. Each of the rooms in the home were so clean and well maintained-it was so easy to relax! We also loved using the grill on the property which had all the necessary tools for great grillin'! We can't say enough great things about Tim and his responsiveness to all of our questions-really exceptional. As Florida locals, we loved exploring Palm Island as a new place to getaway really hope to make it back to Palm Island based on our fabulous stay. Thanks you Dock of the Bay!

Palm Island Vacation

Our one month stay at this Intercoastal waterway home was a perfect escape from our normal responsibilities. This residence was perfect for our need to boat to our Condo home under repair (Ian) on the southern part of this island. In addition to the ample dock area, the home had many useful amenities to make our stay comfortable. The open living & kitchen area with outside views of the intercostal made up for not being on the beach front. The master bedroom has even better views. The furnishings were all designed for Florida living and entertaining. The beach is a short mile away, which we often walked for exercise and at other times took the golf cart. The Kamado Joe grill got a lot of use as we like to BBQ. The car ferry is not inexpensive, but when one considers that it keeps the island from becoming overrun by beachgoers, it is part of the island charm. The ferry hours of operation are convenient we did not have any long waits to cross the intercostal. We had a very relaxing time during our one month stay and would consider returning again.
