Perfect for a fishing trip, hunting, ATV riding and many other outdoor activities. 1/4 mile from Upper Red Lake access.

Thanksgiving outing

This place is a great escape from reality. We enjoyed our stay as away from people as possible. The cabin is clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be back in spring.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family fishing trip! Conveniently located to upper Red Lake! Place had everything we needed without having to bring anything such as dishes, toiletries, camp chairs etc. Host was very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay, once again! Excellent Owners!

2nd year staying at this cozy cabin, while fishing Upper Red Lake. Just far enough away, but convenient to public landing, as well as Rodgers on Red, which is right around the corner. Very clean and incredibly furnished. Great internet speed and streaming TV options. Owners are excellent communicators and even better people!

Autumn adventure

It was a great place to get away! Hosts were very quick to help problem solved as we encountered one problem. Beds were comfortable, the sofa bed was nice if the friend you are staying with snores like a Freightliner. Loved the view of the night sky from the campfire pit and the easy walk to the beach. Area felt secluded with a few trail through the woods. Great for dogs

Superb place to stay and relax! All the comforts of home, and then some Excellent communication with owners, and the owners are super friendly and nice! Couldn't think of a way to improve the place! Communication was excellent! Thanks so much for inviting us into your cabin for a long weekend visit. Proximity to recreation areas is perfect. The property is exactly as advertised, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you could need to make yourself at home.

Perfect Cabin in the Woods

We rented the cabin for family to stay while attending a wedding at our nearby property. It was absolutely perfect. Modern, cozy, clean and comfortable. Dana was very responsive to messages. We look forward to booking again when we need a place for visitors.

Fishing getaway for three retired Soil and Water Conservation employees

We had a great couple of days on Red Lake fishing. 😊The cabin was within 20 minutes of the access we used to get on lake. Relaxing atmosphere back at cabin after a day of fishing. Supplies (sunscreen, paper towels, band aids, soap, shampoo), appliances, bathroom facilities etc. we’re awesome.👍 Queen bed very comfortable. Bunk beds did not have sheets on them ☹️ but we found them on a shelf the next day. Typical for this time of year the mosquitoes kept us indoors, however we did see many song birds, deer, heard ruffed grouse drumming etc.

My husband and I were looking for a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary and found this cabin! It was absolutely perfect! It was the right size for the two of us, lots of space outside, great fireplace, had everything we needed for the week, and it was nice and secluded! It was such a good stay and hoping to stay again next year!

Cozy cabin

My husband and I had a great time staying here. We were looking for a slightly remote getaway in the woods, this was it! Seeing wildlife and driving scenic roads is something we love to do and this location had just that! We were visiting late August and if your into foraging mushrooms and other Forest goodies the Forest floor was crawling in some pretty amazing fungi! The cabin was just right for us! We brought our food with and cooked all of our meals. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and cozy! Great stay!

We knew right away that this cabin was the perfect place for our family. It's clean, decorated nicely and thoughtfully, has all the accommodations, including a guest book. My husband and I live in the Twin Cities but we purchased this property in 2020 for our ‘home away from home.' We both enjoy the outdoors and all the recreation that Northern Minnesota has to offer. We have two German Shorthair Pointers who also love to hunt and romp around in the woods.

We are excited to be able to share this space with others who want to get away to Northern Minnesota. Whether you are looking for a getaway with your significant other or want to fish on Upper Red, Trail’s End is a great place to make a meal, drink some beer and lay your head at night. If you're looking to fish on Upper Red Lake, this property is perfect. It's located just 1/4 mile from lake access at Roger's Resort. There is plenty of parking if you are brining a boat or fish house. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils and the cabin has high speed wi-fi and internet TV. Towels and linens are also provided so all you need to bring is your fishing gear. For safety and security of the property there is one outdoor security camera on the west side of the cabin.
