Another Great Stay

We always enjoy stayng at Rod's condo. It's a nice clean place for us to stay while visiting New Castle.

The stay we had was absolutely fantastic and amazing! The host was so kind and let us know if anything was needed to let him know. This trip was for a celebration of life for my mother-in-law who passed a couple months ago and we drove in from Texas and so when we got there it was late and we were exhausted but knowing that once we got there that we had such a wonderful place to lay our heads during such a hard visit gave us some sense of peace. If you are reading this and you have any doubt about how great it is please throw the doubt out the window and trust that you will love it here.

Home away from Home 😊

Everything was perfect! The host had the lights turned on and made us feel right at home. The unit had everything we needed. After a long drive up from Florida we settled right in!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place!

Rod runs a tight ship in this spacious, two-bedroom condo on the second floor of an older downtown building. There aren’t many places to stay in New Castle and this one is nice, comfortable, quiet, well kept and centrally located. The only potential drawback for some guests might be the 25 steps up the stairway from the parking area.

Comfy and clean

We were very pleased with our stay at Rod’s lovely condo! From the minute we made our reservation, Our host Rod was in constant communication. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we could have needed and was close to nearby restaurants and businesses. We will definitely stay here again!

Location location location

We had an amazing stay. The location was right downtown. Perfect for walking around and exploring and I only minutes away from all the restaurants. We went to the Mad hyena bar and had a great time with some great local characters! The manager even came in the middle of the night when I locked myself out. My only complaint is the animal hair all over the couch and rugs.

Rod is a super host!

We were very well-taken care of and happy in the condo. Couldn’t have been better. Rod really made it a point to make it easy for us to get there and to park - he even blocked off the parking lot because there was an event in town and he wanted to make sure we weren’t without a spot! What a star. The condo is very well-appointed and cozy and a quick walk to plenty of cool shops and restaurants. Thanks Rod

2BR/2BA Hideaway

I was really impressed by this property! I called it a "hideaway" because who would've known it would be so nice and I would have NEVER found it if all the hotels weren't booked for family weekend at Ball State! The commute was easy... straight shot! Rod was an angel! He was attentive and responsive! The property was clean and it had everything we needed for our stay! We thought the steps would be a problem for my mom, but she was a trooper - she didn't mind it one bit! There are a lot of stores and food places around to choose from in the near vicinity. Overall, Mr. Rod was a jewel and this property was great for what we needed.. I would surely come again and recommend to friends that are in need of a "hideaway" to "get away"!

Beautiful condo in downtown New Castle

What a beautiful place! The pictures do not do it justice and it was larger than we expected. Very clean and a great location for us visiting family from New Castle to Hagerstown. The owner reached out to me, well in advance of our stay, to be sure we were set for our stay. And when he was unavailable, his sister stepped right in and helped us with any questions and our check-out process. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come back to visit family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

New Castle is about 30 from Richmond and Greenfield; about 20 minutes from Anderson and Muncie.
