La Villa des Poètes: a haven of peace in the heart of Drôme provençale
On top of a hill planted with vines and olive trees, just 4 km from Nyons, the Villa des Poètes awaits you with its 7,000m2 garden, its beautiful sunny swimming pool and its magnificent view over the countryside and the summit of Mount Ventoux.
Located in an exceptional setting and rented in full, the Villa is ideal for vacations with family or friends. You'll enjoy peacefulness, sunbathing by the pool, relaxing under the olive trees, drinking a glass of local wine on the terrace.

A large, comfortable house awaits you at a few kilometers from Nyons
A 200m2 single-storey architect-designed house built in 1982 on a 7000m2 plot planted with olive trees, pines, oaks and Mediterranean massifs (lavender, rosemary etc.), with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside.

The Villa can accommodate 8 to 10 people. A parking area is provided for 5 cars.

South-facing with large bay windows, the Villa includes a large living room and 5 bedrooms.
The living room:
- dining room with table for 8-10 people
- fully-equipped kitchen (gas stove, electric and microwave ovens, dishwasher, refrigerator, Krups filter coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc.).
- living room with sofa and armchairs, coffee table, board games, large-screen TV, Canal+ decoder, piano.
The living room opens onto a terrace where to enjoy your meals outside (possibly in the shade of electric blinds).

The bedrooms:
- 4 double bedrooms with 160x200 beds and private bathroom/WC in the bedroom (3 bathrooms with shower and 1 with bath), TV and WiFi.
- 1 children's bedroom with single bed 90x190. Possibility (on request) of adding a 2nd single bed for a child or replacing the single bed with a 140x200 sofa bed for 2 adults.

The 'Cabanon' room is air-conditioned. The 4 other rooms, with their large bay windows, are fitted with electric roller shutters and Dyson fans.

A 5th bathroom with WC and shower is located in the hallway.

You'll also have access to a laundry room with washing machine, ironing facilities, vacuum cleaner, etc.

Bed linen and towels are provided, but don't forget to bring your own pool towels.

Cot with mattress + baby chair available on request.

Your vacation in a remarkable, authentic setting:
Spending one or two weeks in summer at the Villa means above all enjoying its outdoors:
- 7,000m2 of private unfenced garden, mostly planted with olive trees, with a vegetable garden and an henhouse (no rooster to wake you up in the morning).
- an 11 x 5-meter swimming pool with diving board, 1.50 to 2 meters deep, secured by a safety fence. Access via steps to the shallow end of the pool.
- sun loungers and parasols for the pool
- tables, chairs and parasols for outside meals
- plancha grill and large fridge on the terrace.

Please note that the Villa is located at the top of a small hill (altitude 350m). Access is via a private road shared with our neighbors; initially unpaved (100 m), the road climbs 400 m to the Villa.

During your stay you will have the opportunity to enjoy seasonal vegetables picked from the garden and fresh eggs from the henhouse. You will also taste our olive oil, homemade jams and honey from our bees.

You'll most probably come across Luna, our kitten, who spends most of her time outside and may even let herself be petted.

For those allergic to bee stings: we have 8 beehives on the lower part of the property (a long way from the house). Please avoid coming nearby the hives.

The Villa is located 4km from Nyons and its amenities: supermarkets, shops, restaurants, gas station, electric vehicle charging stations, etc. Situated in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the Villa is perfectly located for visiting this magnificent region of rolling hills, olive trees, lavender fields and endless vineyards. You can discover or rediscover the region's natural (Parc naturel régional des baronnies provençales, Mont Ventoux, etc.) and cultural treasures (hilltop villages, castles, etc.). ), enjoy the beauty of the countryside on a hike or bike ride, and sample delicious local specialties (Nyons black olives and olive oil, AOC Côtes du Rhône wines, Grignan-les-Adhémar, black truffles, picodon, lavender honey, etc.) at one of the region's food markets or local wine estates.
