Residence: Le Martinet Camping bord de Loire in Briare Le Canal offers a stay close to nature. On the banks of the Loire River, discover the sixty species of dragonflies present in the Loiret, go in the footsteps of the discreet beaver, find your children's eyes by observing the sublime peacocks-de-jour, the colourful beeps, the terns, the martins-fishers and of course the martinets, these wonderful birds which gave their name to our campsite and which have the surprising peculiarity of never landing on the ground. They eat, drink, sleep, breed and collect something to make their nest without ever stopping flying, except when laying their eggs.





Just two kilometres from the famous Bridge-Canal of Briare, you will know the exciting local history of Henri IV to Gustave Eiffel via Jean-Félix Bapterosses.





You will also enjoy all the amenities of the city of Briare the canal ten minutes walk, or five minutes by bike.
