Discover our comfortable, eco-friendly holiday home. Our low-energy house is perfect for spending quality time with family and friends. Located in a wooded residential area, our fully-equipped gîte sleeps 8 in its 4 bedrooms.


Paradise and games for all, young and old!
Children will have endless fun: Duplo, Playmobil, pirate ship, doll and buggy, books, DVDs, guitars, go karts, bikes, swing, table tennis, trampoline, kicker... Enjoy a large wooded garden in the sun or shade. While enjoying an aperitif, shoot and score on our petanque court.

Direct access to nature and tourist sites from the Bois Joli! A path at the bottom of the garden leads directly to a nature reserve, ideal for hiking enthusiasts. Just a few minutes' walk away, immerse yourself in the world of the Grottes de Nichet and the fascinating past of the citadels of Givet and Dinant, via the Château de Freyr.

Enjoy a peaceful environment designed for families with children. Everything is designed for relaxation, peace and quiet.

Pets are not allowed at Le Bois Joli. We thank you for your understanding and will do our utmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

On arrival, you will find two beds per room and a choice of pillows (single or ergonomic). The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, five gas rings, as well as a Soupmaker and raclette machine. First aid kit available.

Ground floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, utility room, separate WC, bedroom with shower. Upstairs, three bedrooms, bathroom, children's play area or study. Each bedroom has two single beds.

You'll also have petanque balls for the petanque court, table tennis rackets and balls, various wooden games, bicycles for small children, stilts... In the garden, a large trampoline is sure to delight the children (for safety reasons, use without shoes, by one child only and under adult supervision). In a garden chalet, there's a kicker with a ball and a dart board. Slide, swing, trapeze...

Enjoy the two large terraces, one facing south, the other partly shaded, with garden tables and seating. Relaxation seats are also available.

The semi-passive house is very well insulated: the temperature is constant, winter and summer alike. Mosquito nets are fitted so that you can ventilate without insects entering the house.

There are plenty of tourist attractions in the region: Dinant and its citadel, Han and its animal park and caves, the Lesse for kayaking, the Rivéa aqualudic centre 2 km away with its pools, spa and bowling, the fortified castles of Bouillon and Lavaux Sainte-Anne, etc.

In the heart of nature and... close to all amenities: numerous shops - Carrefour, Delhaize, Lidl, Aldi, bakery, fishmonger, organic shop, pizzerias, restaurants... in Beauraing (Belgium) and Givet (in France, 2 km away), Intermarché, clothes shops (Bonobo, Cache-cache, Kiabi), Trafic, Fnac, Decathlon, Lidl, Comptoir bio... Foirfouille and restaurants, bowling, swimming pools.

‘The Bois Joli gîte is a very pleasant holiday home for a family with children young and old (table tennis, table football, badminton, pétanque...). It is also suitable for allergy sufferers and asthmatics: smooth floors, leather sofas and all cleaned with gentle, ecological and fragrance-free cleaning products. The single beds are good, the Ardennes air pure and the hostess and host a warm welcome. Highly recommended’.
