Beautiful beachfront home with a private pool in between Jaco & Manuel Antonio.

This home is located on a 5 mile long secluded beach in Parrita. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the rolling ocean waves, walk on the beach or just relax in our private pool. Town is located about 10 mins. away with lots of shopping, restaurants and banks. There are several local waterfalls in Parrita along with zip lining. The oversized backyard is great for entertaining, playing sports and special events. Manuel Antonio National Park is 40 mins away with many excursions in Quepos/MA including whale watching, hot springs, zip lining, dinner cruises and much more. There is also a bar/restaurant on the island that has great food and drinks and restaurant delivery is available via express. The neighbors offer surfing lessons, boat mangrove/monkey tours, waterfall tours and deep sea fishing right off the beach. Chino river monkey tour is 30 mins away towards Quepos and Rainmaker waterfall park is just before the Chino tour. Body boards and bicycles are also available to guest.

Great time beatific staff, Jenny is so nice.

Great beach view. Amazing house. The lady that helped with the house was amazing. She even did my laundry. I didn't even ask. They have plenty of stuff to cook with as well and with all that amazing fruit there's a juicer manual but still useful.

Wonderful oceanfront house, desolate beach and clear blue Pacific water. Saw lots of parrots, a family of monkeys and miles of coconut trees. The house was comfortable, adequately spacious, the owner and property manager immediately responsive.

The beach here is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We love to walk beaches and you can literally walk for miles and there are no crowds. The waves were quite strong, so it’s not very swim-able, but good for boogie boarding. The communication with the host and property manager was very good; they were both very responsive. We had a couple of issues, but they were handled to our satisfaction. The pool is beautiful and we enjoyed the bird songs and iguanas. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The Beach

A great place for a beach getaway, very quite and private, unusual for most C/R beaches. A few more dish towels, access to the washer and dryer and an outdoor BBQ would be very nice. I will be going back again and I have recommended it to others already.

Nice place

We stayed at this place for a week in December. It is clean and comfy. The owner is very responsive. The beach is very close but not too many people swim. We had a chance to book some activities for lower than the commercial price.

Beautiful Sunsets

We had a great time at this home. Loved the pool, beach and especially the Sunsets. The best way to enjoy this house is get lots of groceries and hang at the pool. BBQ wasn’t cleaned is my only complaint. Really need a gas BBQ.

Steps From The Beach

If you want privacy and peace, this is the place. It truly is only steps from the beautiful beach. We stayed here the first week of May, and there was hardly anyone around, and we consistently had the entire beach to ourselves. The house was comfortable and clean. The sound of the waves was incredible, and I didn't even need my Spotify app for sleep sound. We enjoyed the nightly visits of the land crabs, and they were never a problem, just a fun change from everyday land life. The Mar Y Sol restaurant down the road was a lovely surprise. It gave us a place to go for great food and a beach view just down the road.Susan (the Owner) was very responsive to all our questions and was extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed our experience.

When we arrived I went to the backyard by the pool noticed none of the lights worked, went to the bathroom in the backyard tried to turn the light on and was electrocuted then 2 days later the house caught on fire do to the electrical I then contacted the fire department and had to wait outside for hour before my family was allowed back inside then for 4 days after we had no hot water also there is not a single fire alarm in the house when I contacted the owner she told me I wasn't electrocuted because I was still alive

Patrick, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. There are several smoke detectors in the home as well as a fire extinguisher. ICE's outside meter caught on fire, not the house as you are aware. The property manager verified all lights were working after the bulbs were replaced due to the surge. Guest checked out the same day you checked in with no issues. You failed to mention you put out an electrical meter fire with water causing a surge throughout the house burning out the new water heaters, bulbs and you were demanding an $800 credit for no hot water but you weren't there for several days and came back to stay. We resolved the issue in less than 6 hours with ICE as this happened in the middle of the night. When I asked if everyone/everything was ok you said yes. Then several days later you started asking for the $800 credit. This issue was not due to the condition or maintenance of the home.

You feel like a visitor to Costa Rica, not just a tourist!!

What an overall great experience we had staying at this beach front property!! We could sit on the front porch to eat all of our meals and wave or say hi to people as they went by. We would start our day walking the beach and it was always surprising how few people are on the beach. After our beach walk we would spend time in the wonderful plunge pool in the back of the house. Usually by mid afternoon we would grab the hammocks and hang them in the palm trees on the beach and spend the afternoon reading or just watching the ocean lull you into a mellow mood. Before you know it the day ends and we would make a martini and the beach chairs and head out to the beach to watch the sunset. The overall property was well taken care of and the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The bed had a memory foam topper and sleeping was perfect. Having the Ac available to turn on at night was wonderful to sleep with, but we would open the windows during the day and feel the constant breeze that was blowing in from the ocean. It was nice to feel like we were in a small community where people would interact, or you could just sit and watch the neighbourhood kids playing in the water or on the kicking the soccer ball on the beach. Shopping in Parrita is close by and easy to get what you would need to make your own meals at the house. The area is great for doing excursions such as zip lines, surf lessons, horse back riding etc. and there are a few different restaurants along the beach road to go and eat at. The owner Susan and the property manager Woody were both very responsive and easy to talk with if you needed anything. Overall we had a great time and really had no surprises renting this house on the beach.

This place was amazing. We had some trouble finding the house our first night (it was after dark and our cell phones completely lost service). We ended up driving back to the little bar/restaurant at the beginning of the peninsula and everyone was so nice and helpful. While I was contacting our host, one of the bartenders was calling neighbors to meet us on the road and direct us to the house. Everyone was so nice, friendly and helpful. We went into Parrita the next morning for groceries and got amazing fruit. Everyone was so wonderful and nice. The beach was incredible!! It felt like we had the peninsula to ourselves. The stars at night were breathtaking and we had fun searching for sand dollars (which we left :-). The house was perfectly located. We drove into Manuel Antonio National Park for a tour early one morning. It was nice to stay by Parrita because it wasn’t nearly as busy and crowded as the Quepos and Jaco areas. The peace, quiet and relaxation was worth the 45-60 minute drive. The pool out back was a lifesaver. My daughter was in it every morning by 7am and in it until 7pm lol. We would have stayed a few extra days if our travel schedule allowed. The house was super clean, comfortable and had all the necessities we needed for making food, doing laundry and relaxing. This house was perfect and we would 100% stay again.
