Beautiful open and spacious ranch home in country setting

This spacious ranch house has just been (as of Fall 2021) renovated with new appliances, flooring, paint, lighting etc. Which makes it a perfect for a family looking for a home away from home. Whether you are on vacation, a business trip, stationed nearby, or just need some time away, this could be the perfect fit for you.

There is a well-stocked kitchen that opens up into a spacious living room with beautiful natural light from the large front windows. The master bedroom has it own attached master bath with walk in shower. The second bedroom is perfect for the younger members of the family or a second couple! The main bathroom has a combo bath and shower.
Large open kitchen/living room area with sofa and loveseat for relaxing or can be used as an extra bed for that tag along person who is comfortable for that.
The breezeway/Fireplace room is large as well. With a desk at one end for your computer and business tasks. Chairs and Settee for visiting and games.

You are welcome to relax on the back patio and will have access to the large yard surrounding the house as well as garage and driveway parking. There is a patio in the back with furniture to relax as well as a gas grill for your meals. The house comes equipped with WiFi, heat/AC, washer and dryer.

It is conveniently located along Rt. 22 in Jonestown, PA, just off of I-81 and I-78 and within 1 hour driving distance of Hershey, Harrisburg, Lebanon, Lancaster, and Fort Indiantown Gap.

Nearby activities within 30 minutes include: Hershey Park, Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Antique Car Museum, Hershey Outlets, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, PA Farm Show Complex, the Appalachian Trail, Swatara Park and Creek (lovingly referred to by locals as the "Swatty"), coffee shops including Lebanon County's voted #1, Swatara Coffee Co., ice cream shops, golf courses, hiking and biking trails, gyms, and more!
If you are here for sports activities we are conveniently located just within 20 minuntes of Northern Lebanon High School, Jonestown Little League baseball fields, and In The Net indoor sports complex.

Very nice home, it's away from the rd. Had a pack n play and high chair handy so thats a plus for me. Not far from hershey to visit. Overall was a great stay.

This house suited our needs perfectly! Kids loved the baby doll, swing outside and the games. No issues at all. You'll feel comfortable here.

This is a very comfortable and clean house. The fall decorations made the house very cozy and inviting. The homemade bread and fresh eggs were a very thoughtful treat! It was nice to be able to park in a garage. We were in town for the antique car show in Hershey so we visited Hershey and Harrisburg. Also went to Gettysburg. The location of this house is just right.Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Absolutely beautiful property!! Exactly as depicted in the pictures! Communication with owner was spot on. My kids loved all of the toys and just the space as a whole. So close to all things, but far enough away to not being staying in the hub bin. We were able to go to the Crayola Experience and a bunch of Hershey attractions! Very thorough instructions left and suggestions for restaurants with menus and everything. Fresh baked bread and eggs! Just totally A. We would definitely recommend and be back. So many homey touches. God bless!

Check in was easy and host was quick to respond. House looked like pictures online. It very clean and provided a lot of the amenities that we enjoyed/needed like coffee and a washer and dryer for washing clothes. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. We enjoyed the backyard and outdoor games they had provided and the bread and eggs were much appreciated. We did find the divided highway a bit of an inconvenience. But overall we had a great stay.

Perfect place to stay! Out of the hustle of town but still close enough to everything you need! A larger farmers market down the road which is a must see while staying! Great communication and the house was so clean and cosy. Plenty of room for me, my finance and our wheelchair bound son. He had room to roll around and explore and the bathrooms are also very spacious. Will for sure be staying here again!

Perfect Family Stay Near Hershey!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was a beautiful, spacious ranch-style home with a warm and welcoming feel. My son loved having toys to play with, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The thoughtful touches like fresh homemade bread and eggs were such a sweet surprise. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Clean, nicely decorated, plenty of room

Second time staying here, hosts are top-notch. Plenty of sleeping options for our large family. Nice patio out back. The home is well cared for and has a well stocked kitchen if you plan on cooking while there. The home baked treat and fresh eggs were much appreciated.

Went to hershey park for 2 days. Stayed here and it was great. Quiet. Very clean. Everything exceeded our expectations and we decided we will be back next year and looking to stay here again.

Very clean and comfy home

The home was very clean and homey. We were grateful to stay away from Hershey, but yet close enough to visit the park and surrounding area. Beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with tools to make all your meals. The homemade bread and eggs left for was us was a sweet touch.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property has recently (as of Fall 2021) been completely remodeled. All new flooring, kitchen, paint and furniture. Our family purchased this property a few years ago and last year made it a family project to remodel and get set up with some type of short term house rental. Where we can have a more personal touch with those travelling thru the area.
While it does not have lots of bedrooms for lots of guests it is great for families with children. We are ok as well if guest are willing to sleep on sofas or even the floor.
This location is a great place for military personnel to stay while training at Fort Indiantown Gap, Visiting the National Cemetery, or maybe its traveling in for a game at Northern Lebanon High School or Lebanon Valley College. Maybe here on business and would like to bring the family along.
Perfect for those who are just looking for a Home away from home just to relax. This is the place for you! Within 30 minutes of Hershey and Harrisburg attractions as well as 30 minutes from Cabela's. Lancaster with all its shopping and attractions is only an hour away as well!
