The Jack Pines room is perfect for a couples weekend getaway. You will find peace and tranquility next to the lake. Included with the room is a Pontoon paddle boat, Kayaks, Canoe and more. We will supply the firewood for your evening fire over looking the lake. The Jack Pines room is set up for you to only bring your personals with a fully stocked kitchen in the unit. Short driving distance to towns including Marquette, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, hiking and waterfalls.

Great stay

The cabin is nice and clean. The property was beautiful with the view of the lake and all the places to hang out and enjoy. The host was also great, very friendly and responsive! We would definitely stay there again!

Great Little U.P. getaway!

My wife and I were very happy with our stay at Jack Pines resort. The owner was very welcoming and generous during our stay. The area surrounding the lake was very nice and we loved taking out the paddle boat! Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay

Had a great time here! Perfect getaway on a beautiful lake. Enjoyed a peaceful ride on the paddle boat. Terry stopped by and made sure we had fun before we left. Would’ve stayed longer if we could, highly recommend!

Great, well cared for piece of property and even better hosts! My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing get-a-way! Loved the resort and the peacefulness of the location. If we make another trip to the U.P. will defiantly looking up this property.

Terry was an awesome host. Property was exactly as described. I enjoyed my stay so much. Spent most of my trip site seeing. Hopefully I will get back sometime soon and just enjoy the lake. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful

Our stay was definitely not long enough, it was a great distance from where we needed to be. It was quiet, lovely and clean. The access to the lake was awesome, the amenities were welcoming and homey.

Weekend Getaway

Very nice property, the 1 bedroom cabin was perfect for me and my wife. Terry was extremely helpful with both getting us to the property and answering all the questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we are able to come back soon

Peaceful Retreat

Terry and Susan were incredible hosts. They made sure we were comfortable and offered suggestions on good hiking in the area. The space was clean, warm, and cozy.

Friendly and well done

The owners were friendly and helpful in getting us settled in. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The lake was serene and calming. The owners have maintained the grounds and add fire pits and decks to enjoy the views. We would stay there again.

Little piece of heaven on the lake

The cabins are tucked away in the middle of the forest but close enough to Marquette that you can easily get your tourist fix and some nice trails nearby too. Terry and Susan are friendly, accommodating hosts. Plenty of kayaks and other water toys and grills to enjoy. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect UP stay!

Had an amazing time - perfect little spot on a perfect little lake. everything exactly as advertised! It's not luxury - it's everything you need and clean, well appointed and with a great, friendly host! We absolutely loved the deck, firepit, kayaks and paddleboat. As an added bonus - amazing fireworks on the lake for the Independence Day celebration. Highly recommend!

Quiet, relaxing, theraputic!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back next year. Everything was very clean, the fishing was great, loved the kayaking, and so many other great things. The owners replied to all communications quickly and were extremly friendly and helpful with any questions. This was very pet friendly as well. Our dog, Todd, was comfortable.

Peaceful Retreat

We were at want for nothing. Terry went out of his way to check on us and make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. Our only regret is not booking our stay at Red Pines for longer.

Exceptional time, location, and hosts.

We had a wonderful time at Red Pine Resort. The accomodations were clean, and had a variety of toys to play with. The hosts Terry and Sue were the best, sharing stories about the local wildlife, things to do, and made our stay a complete success. We saw Bald Eagles nesting and hunting on the lake, fox, and deer. We swam, rode the paddle boat, and had other options to enjoy the lake. Thanks Terry and Sue for an exceptional experience.

Lovely area with a beautiful lake. Small cottage but very clean. The outdoor area is what caught our eye. Gas fireplace under gazebo and outdoor fireplace with wood. Beautiful sunset! We would come back again!

A Little “Slice of Heaven”

Terry & Susan convey warm hospitality by providing a little “slice of Heaven” for the guests they serve. We are grateful to have discovered their Red Pines Resort. This beautiful location on the lake, clean comfortable lodging, gorgeous outdoor patio, fire pit, and the waterfront truly exceeded our expectations. It also fulfilled my family’s top 3 requirements: safety, privacy, and cleanliness. Our small dog felt right at home :) We’re looking forward to our next visit! Thank you, Terry & Susan.

Girls Getaway

If you like the outdoors this place is for you! The property is right on the lake and we had so much fun! We spent every night out by the fire 😊 The property is super clean! Terry and Susan were amazing! We had a lot of rain during our stay and they went above and beyond to make it memorable! They were easy to get a hold of if we had questions. I will be recommending this place to family and friends!

Jack pines resort was so beautiful and peaceful.. we really enjoyed our stay. Couldn't have asked for a better host. Terry was there to greet us when we arrived, ask us if we had any questions or need anything until this to just let him know. If we do. Let my husband borrow a fishing pole and tackle so he could enjoy. The lake... The room was clean and comfortable. One of the most relaxing trips we have taken. We will definitely be back. Thank you Terry for your hospitality... Beautiful property, beautiful area.

Relaxing and comfortable

A true hidden gem. A small property, which lends itself to tranquil, where the owners live on site. Only positive things to say. Cute, well appointed, cabin-feel unit. Very quiet. The clean lake at our doorstep with the lakeside patio and gazebo were super enjoyable. Coffee in the morning, swimming and paddle boating in the afternoon and a wonderful outdoor barbeque in the evening. Exactly what we came for! 11 out of 10 stars! Only about 25 miles out of Marquette and within driving distance to most UP scenic areas. Best of both worlds!

Dont pass this place up-- its amazing!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights, and the trip started out rough because, and i cannot stress this enough, read Terrys email about booking because one road in is literally 17 miles of really bad road, but theres another way there thats much better. I didnt read the email and wish i had. But once we got there, our stay was paradise!! Nestled on a cute little lake with all the amenities you could ask for at a cabin. We took a paddle pontoon out around the lake, played bags, went for walks and just took in all the beauty out there. Terry was an amazing host, even when we needed a cheese shredder and a plug in block at 930 he brought them right over. Will most definitelu be back, this place is incredible!! Thanka a million Terry!!!
