Breath-taking views of the ICW. The porches and deck have great sun rise and sunset views. Morning coffee and afternoon cocktails are a must.
The open living room, dining, and kitchen have views of the ICW. You will never grow tired of watching the large boats pass, fishing, crabbing and enjoying all the fun of the waterway from the Private pier. Bring your boat and dock alongside of the floating dock. King bed in master, queen beds in other 2 bedrooms, bathtub/shows in each bathroom. The kitchen fully furnished with all cooking necessities. Screened-in porch, large upper deck and large lower deck, charcoal grill, outdoor furniture, cornhole boards and firepit to further your enjoyment of this spacious setting. Central HVAC with washer and dryer. Bed linens, bath towels and wash cloths supplied. This is a true vacation getaway from all the hustle and congestion of the island.

Steamy July

The cottage was perfect -easy to find, sparkling clean, with everything you could need for a long weekend escape. It was a very steamy July weekend, but sitting the shade of the 100 year old oak tree provided a lovely spot to relax. The beach was close enough to run to and easy to come home from and jump in the outdoor shower. The restaurants were packed, so easy enough to grab food and eat at home. Thank you Holly and Brian for letting us share your hideaway.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and had great views of the ICW. The dock was great. We never even had to leave the house to see fireworks. Everything was accessible and the beds were comfy. Will definitely love to rent again.

This is our second time staying here and let me tell you it won't be our last. We love the location, we love the house and the pier. The owners super and really do go above and beyond. The house is always clean, and it has such a warm and inviting tone to it.

Brian is a great host. Texted him a couple times with questions and received response within minutes. House is very clean, kitchen well equipped. Nice pier with electricity and running water. We will definitely book again, thanks Brian.

Comfortable, relaxing home with a gorgeous view

Can’t beat waking up every morning to a beautiful view of the intracoastal waterway. My boys thoroughly enjoyed fishing off the dock. We all slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a low key , relaxing stay.

Great location

Beautiful view of the inner coastal and short drive to Holden Beach. The grandkids loved catching crabs, seeing the dolphins and holding baby sharks that grandpa caught and set free. The property had everything we needed for our stay and had really comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay and beautiful view

Very nice property with a great view! My family had fun hanging out on the pier fishing and watching boats on the ICW. A short drive to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Another wonderful stay.

This was our second stay at this delightful costal getaway. We spent our mornings and evenings fishing and crabbing on the long expansive pier. Caught a multitude of panfish and several crab. The views of the boats traveling the Intercostal Waterway were peaceful and captivating. We also enjoyed local nearby restaurants. The property was very clean and communication couldn't have been better. Sincerely enjoyed our stay highly recommend.

Kids spring break

The property was great we arrived at the property at the check in time and code was set for us. We entered the house and looked around and found that the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils you could want the house was also very clean. The view is very nice from porch and the dock. We enjoyed inside and outside of the property we fished alot cooked and watched movies and also watched all the boats come and go very cool. The dolphins showed up everyday to say hello. Over all we were very happy with the property and location we just didn't know we had to bring trash bags lol no big deal. Brain was very pleasant to deal with would stay again.

Much Needed Salt Life Therapy

Husband and I needed a break from life’s hectic PACE before he went out of town for work ( 2 MONTHS !! ) This house was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!!! Views of waterway COULD NOT have been any better !!! House has a lot of natural light and views from entire front of house . Neighborhood extremely quite . Close to everything without all the stressful stuff . Traffic , noise etc . Beds comfortable and amazing dock for fishing , kayaking etc . We will be repeat visitors to this “ couldn’t ask for more “ house on the water .

Clean and inviting.

House was extremely clean and inviting. Everything was as described. Easy to get to with several local restaurants nearby. Fishing on the pier was our favorite. We caught Black Drum, Croaker, Redfish and Flounder too! Many memories were made. Definitely a place to come back to.

Cozy Place to stay

Great place to stay very quite and right on the water. Had a great time fishing off the dock caught a stingray and a shark. Very clean and cozy. Not to far away from stores or the beach. It was a wonderful trip.

Just what we needed

We really enjoyed our week here, the property was exactly what we hoped for. Private and peaceful. The home was very clean and well kept. The owners were awesome and communicated very well! Privacy

The description lists privacy and yes as for your standings it is private however the fact that there are cameras outside is uncomfortable. Originally these cameras did not bother as I assumed they were being used as a just in case measure. Like if something happened then the video could be viewed. Unfortunately tho it was bright to my attention within minutes of our arrival that the owners in fact were watching our movements on camera. This made me and my family uneasy. Therefore we only went out and say in areas where we could not be watched. There were also two instances where my husband fell and was injured ... Because there are no mats or mat in tub he slipped in the shower as well as on the steps outside.

Broken dock and broken promises suck. Just like this wannabe realtor/ owner

Nice house/ beautiful property. Sole reason for renting was waterway access for my boat. 3 hours before Im to check in I receive a call from host telling me dock broken, will be fixed Monday. When that didn't happen it was then told to me it would be fixed by Wednesday. 5:00 Wednesday evening it was available. 3 days of boating wasted. Host tells me it's okay to use the dock it's safe but we will not be responsible for any damages to your boat. No one in their right mind would have tied a boat to that dock The three men from Sea dog Construction who came and repaired the dock laughed and said no way in hell would they ever tie their boats to that dock. Was also told there was plenty of water depth to dock your boat. But unless your boat only drafts 6 inches you will be sitting in the mud at low tide and not able to get out or in. These people were jerks I'll be going back to Hobbs realty.

Unbeatable location!

We so enjoyed this spot for a long weekend celebrating our anniversary. The views, the dock, the birdwatching—all made for a peaceful retreat! We spent mornings walking at very nearby Holden Beach and really appreciated the dog-friendly environment!

This is our family's perfect vacation location! We enjoy this home with our kids and grandson. Our favorite activity is getting on the boat, head toward Shallotte Inlet, and anchor the boat on the backside of Ocean Isle Beach. This is the perfect location to enjoy the beach and watch the boats go by on the ICW and docking your boat. Our family enjoys fishing from the dock as well as taking the boat offshore or fishing in the inlets. We also enjoy taking the boat to dinner at various locations on the ICW. Our hope is that this will become your favorite vacation location as well.

This property is perfect for peaceful family vacations away from the rush of island traffic or other beaches. We offer a private floating dock to tie up your boat or a boat you rent from the local marina. Amazing outdoor decks and a screened in porch to relax on and enjoy nature while watching the boats go by. Easy access to the inlets for offshore fishing. Great dinning location near by that can also be accessed by boat.
