Nuestra casa está a pocos pasos del agua en una hermosa comunidad lacustre. Hay paseos por la naturaleza y una vista del lago desde nuestra casa. Tenemos nuestro propio muelle para usar. La casa duerme cómodamente 10 y hay mucho espacio para tus cosas. La cocina se abre a la sala de estar que tiene una estufa de leña. También hay un fogón en el frente donde a nuestros hijos les encanta sentarse por la noche y comer sus smores caseros. La casa tiene aire acondicionado en los 3 dormitorios y sala de estar, ventiladores de techo en todas las habitaciones. Este es un hogar maravilloso para unas maravillosas vacaciones familiares. Nuestra casa tiene WIFI donde los niños pueden usar sus dispositivos electrónicos y el uso puede ser un poco de trabajo en la oficina. Hay excelentes lugares para comer, Kundla's Barbeque en Hamlin abre los domingos de 11 a 20 h. The Boat House en Hawley, Erhardt's Waterfront Inn, ambos restaurantes son accesibles en coche o en barco. The Boat House ofrece entretenimiento todos los viernes. noche a las 10 pm También hay Settler's Inn, que es un lugar para una cena muy agradable. Family memories at a great price!

We Had a great time. I brought my boat and used Robert’s slip. The lake is very close to the house and was easy to get to and from with the help of Robert’s quad and trailer. The kids loved riding in the trailer. The house was clean and had everything we needed and everything we didn’t. Robert was a very responsive host and was there for us with any questions that we may of had. If you rent this place please leave it better then you found it so that Robert will continue to share his home with us and at a fair price.

Great last minute find!

We had our complete vacation booked since February in Galveston. Our plans suddenly changed due to the possibility of Hurricane Barry flooding our vacation home. On Wednesday, we sat down together and looked online for a home in the Pocono area. We stayed there last year and loved it. This home was available so we quickly booked it and reached out to Robert. He was quick to respond and assured us that everything would be ready when we arrived. The home is lovely and located close to the lake and not too far from Hawley and some wonderful small farmers markets. Robert was very easy to get along with and any time we had questions, he was quick to respond back by text or phone. The home is very comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The fire pit was used almost nightly, and there’s so many deer running through the yards we were kept entertained. We want to say thank you for making our vacation a reality. We really weren’t sure we would find a nice place to suit our last minute needs.

Nice location, beautiful views of nature!

Overall our stay was nice, except the launch for jetski's was very steep and didn't feel comfortable using what was available. Instead we rented a ski boat for 2 of the 4 days, which was a fabulous time. The amenities stated that a canoe and kayak were suppose to be on site, however they were not. Also many things in the house were broken and not maintained as they should be. There were many movies and games, most of the games were missing pieces. The lake was about 1/10th of a mile, the owner Robert did let us use the ATV to go back and forth to the lake, however the ATV was difficult to start as it was pull rather than electric start and the pull was very touchy as it would stick most of the time. Wouldn't recommend for elderly individuals, definitely for younger crowds capable of maintenance. The fire pit was nice at night and nature was all around, we seen deer, rabbits, otters, baby turtles, and Turkeys. The balcony from the house was enjoyable. The gas grill was broken, the front burner wouldn't light and it looked like it had never been cleaned. Overall we made the best of our stay, but for the money I most likely would not rent from this owner again.

Wonderful location

Rob was wonderful. He was always available with quick response. We get at home there and would love to go again. Great cove on the lake with safe docks.

Homey property with great amenities.

We really enjoyed our week at this house. We brought our boat and used the very nice boat slip to enjoy the lake by tubing and fishing. We had several meals on deck and had campfires many nights. Most importantly, the owner easy to work with and helpful - he makes very clear that he wants you to call him if you have any questions or need anything. When we vacation at Lake Wallenpaupack again, this place will be at the top of our list.

Great place to stay!

This home was in an amazing location right near the lake and very quiet/serene. The house is definitely old but has AC in every room which is a big plus! Tons of fun things to do in the house like 2 ATVs, board games, pool/lake items, etc.

Didn't live up to write up

Refrigerator top shelf looked like someone thawed out hamburger with nothing under it. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. All three grills(owner had party for daughter) all three still had remains (ie. grease filled aluminum foil, charred bit of food and bbq sauce)of cooking. No lake view like it said in write up. Bed was a about as comfortable as a sidewalk. Last but not least gas fumes come up from basement/garage, it got even worse(very strong) when you open the sliders.

Rustic Get-away

Our family enjoyed our time at the lake. We all gathered on the large deck for meals, had s'mores at the fire pit, and played games in the living room in the evening after enjoying the lake all day. Robert was very good with any communication, and we were blessed with the use of the ATV.

Wallenpaupack 2020

We were very happy with the property. There war a ATV available for us to get to and from the boat dock. Everything was clean and ready for us. AC in all bedrooms worked wonderfully and there was another one in the family room that kept the kitchen and the family room cool. We had a great time at the lake and would recommend this property to my friends.

Perfect family getaway

Perfect peaceful neighborhood located a short walk to the lake. Owner provided us access to his boat dock where our kids could fish and keep our kayaks. He had firewood waiting in a wagon located next to the fire pit. The owner was very generous and truly wanted our family to relax and enjoy our stay! Which of course we did!

Nice place

We rented this place for a week long vacation with my kids and grandkids. The one floor layout worked wonders since we had a 20 month old in the group. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the amenities that were included, such as the use of the quad for traveling to and from the lake and several kayaks. The owner was available at anytime if needed. We enjoyed our stay and recommend.

Great place and even beter owner

Robert is simply great to work with. The house is very comfortable and one we have stayed in several times. There is plenty of bed space for our people and the living space is very comfortable. The lake is close enough and there is a slip in a nice little cove for our boat. Make sure to bring sheets and towels.

Great vacation!

We stayed for five days and our family loved it! Great cabin in the woods. We had a deer sleeping next to the wood pile 10 yds from the cabin. Rob was very accommodating and let us drop our stuff off at the house early so we could take advantage of the lake during beautiful weather. The area around the cabin is quiet and we didn’t have any trouble with any of the other people that lived in the area. Access to the dock was easy. All around great time!

Perfect!

Just back from a long vacation, the first week spent here at this cabin and it was amazing. Is the house a little dated? Sure, but, as I was celebrating my 49th bday, so am I! It's also big, airy, very clean and super cozy and fun! We loved every minute of it. I am a big believer in vibes and there is an abundance of positive energy in and around this place. It was heaven being tucked away in the woods above the lake which we swam and boated in every day, with all the comforts of home. It's worth saying that the property owner is also one definitely cool dude. Thanks, Cat, Will and Faeth.

Perfect long weekend getaway!

We just stayed for a long weekend for my husband's 30th birthday with some family and friends. We had a great time and experience even though we got rained out a few days. We enjoyed fishing and swimming down at the lake, which is a short walk away. Rob made the experience hassle free and easy, and promptly dealt with any questions and issues. I highly reccomend this rental for this very reasonable price.

Nice weekend getaway!

The description of the home is exact. Very quiet and cozy. We went in the winter so no one could sleep in the porch, so I would say the home fit 8 comfortably and one person on the couch (9 total). I have a bit of OCD so I had to bring my own linens. If you are paranoid with cleanliness, then bring your own bedding and cleaning supplies. I think for a weekend, you will be fine. The ski place close by called ski-bear was not the best place. We wanted to go snow tubing but it was more for little kids. We went bowling instead. If you are looking for a weekend getaway with your family this home is perfect. The best part is the Bon fire we did outside of the home. It was perfect. Also, Robert is really such a nice guy. Always answered the phone and didn't make things complicated. His garage is filled with neat 'toys' for both summer and winter seasons. Really a nice getaway!

"Maxin Relaxin"

As my 15 year old daughter said about the weekend- "Maxin Relaxin". We stayed over Columbus Weekend. 3 families, 10 people total. The house was comfortable and clean. Because of the great weather over the weekend, we appreciated and spent alot of time on our boat that was conveniently located at the dock that comes with the rental. One day to satisfy the 7 year old with us, we went to Claws and Paws zoo just a short drive away, I think the adults had more fun then the 7 year old! Location of the home was quiet, and the deer were so friendly we enjoyed watching them slowly walk up, stop for a photo op and venture off. Robert was extremely helpful and cheerfully answered all my questions. It felt like you were renting from a friend. It was also great that we didn't have to bring our own sheets or towels like some of the rental. Most definitely recommend this home and homeowner.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO VACATION

My boyfriend and I were in need of vacation and stayed here. We loved everything about it. It's clean and cozy. Plenty of room if you have more people both romantic with just 2.We had a campfire every night so we got the outdoor camping feel but had the comforts of home right there. Then we would move in for an indoor fire. We walked to the lake and fished off the dock, We brought a blowup boat and went cruising on the lake. It was excellent!!My only complaint is that we couldn't get off work and stay LONGER!! Highly recommend this cabin.

The Perfect Home Away from Home.

Cute cozy home was perfect for our family. It was more enjoyable and spacious then an Hotel. This was our first ever rental, I couldn't have asked for a better friendlier person to deal with. We are already making plans for next summer. The only draw back is, once you get here you may never want to go home.

Loved the place!

Our family was just there for a little weekend getaway. The house was just what we were looking for. We typically camp but this year we changed things up. It gave the atmosphere of camping because of where the house was situated. It was quiet but still within walking distance of the lake. The inside was clean and felt spacious. The owner was easy to work with. We are looking forward to coming back.

Great Place

My family (8 adults) rented this home for a week in Aug. We had a terrific time. The home is well stocked w/everything you cld need. Close walking distance to the beautiful lake and the dock has a ladder for easy access for a swim. View are gorgeous and come with friendly deer. Plenty of room to eat out on the deck or inside. One person slept in the finished closed in porch which is right off the kitchen and did not hear a sound. Anytime I had a question, the owner was there to answer. Close distance to all the stores you want as well as restaurants. I would absolutely recommend staying in this warm and friendly home.

the place is amazing,but home is old,should be renovate long time ago.the owner try to fix that for our security deposit.This guy is a SCAM,stay beware and move to another rental. will definitely NOT recommend this property !!!!
