Remodeled house with three bedrooms, two baths, and two living spaces. One space is a Family Room, with Foosball table, games and an XBox One. The back patio features a propane grill.

Pop's Place is approximately 20 minutes away from DFW International Airport, downtown Fort Worth, AT&T Stadium (Dallas Cowboys), Globe Life Park (Texas Rangers), Choctaw Stadium (Jackals), Cultural Districts, the Fort Worth Stockyards and Rodeo (Dickie's Arena), Texas Motor Speedway, Six Flags over Texas.

Note: The property features security cameras outside the property, which cover the driveway, front door, side yards, back patio and outbuildings, and a section of the garage. There is also a Ring doorbell. All cameras record. There is also a noise monitoring device in the property, which does not record but alerts us to any situations that may cause a noise complaint from our neighbors, as well as any smoke or CO2 alarms going off.

My family a I stayed at the home for almost a month. The location was great and easy to get in and out of. The host did a great job with the recent remodel and the home was very spacious.

Best vacation home rental experience so far

We were in town for work and for family so the place we stayed just really needed to be functional. But, it turned out to be much more than that. It was a positive influence on our whole experience. It was home away from home. It started with our son recognizing scriptures on the wall that he is currently working to memorize. We so appreciated the warmth we immediately felt when we walked in the door. “Thoughtful” was a word that came up over and over in conversations about the property. The pictures and descriptions are accurate. It’s in a mature, quiet and accessible neighborhood. Loved having access to garage parking in Texas in June… The game room fostered great family connection and memories. The living room, complete with accurately labeled remotes, hosted comfortable evening and late night visits and conversations. Our hosts were responsive, communicative and warm throughout our visit. Thank you, Tommy and Cindy for the perfect hub for our Texas trip. We look forward to staying with you again.

Better than home away from home!

Tommy and Cindy are the most wonderful hosts. From the first contact to the minute we left everything went smoothly. They sent all the details we required and provided a notebook with procedures and local information. We were in DFW area for my nephew's funeral (COVID death of a health worker - please get vaccinated and wear your masks!). We entered the house to the scent of warm potpourri and a beautiful sympathy card and flowers. Things just got better from there. The entire house was spotlessly clean, comfortably decorated, very well lit, and equipped with everything you will need. Special touches included extra toiletries (toothbrushes, mouthwash, etc), extra towels, lots of games, and multi-connector charging cables everywhere. The beds were super-comfortable, sheets were soft, and pillows just the right firmness. The bathrooms were super well-lit, newly redecorated, and had great water pressure. The two family rooms were comfortable with more seating than you should ever need. The kitchen could use a little updating but was clean with plenty of counter space, a refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you will need. The dining room has a large table and the greatest coffee bar! The HVAC system works great and the patio is a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee or dinner. The house is about ten minutes from our relatives and my sisters have not only sworn we will stay here on future visits, but want to move in permanently! You can go wrong with many rentals, but not with this home! Book it before someone else beats you to it!

Couldn't have been happier!

We booked this at the last minute and the owners were fast to respond and even went over to get the Christmas tree up for us. This was such a cozy space, well-maintained. They thought of everything. If we ever need another rental in this area, we will for sure try to rebook. Thank you for your kind hospitality!

Thomas has really thought of everything!!

We had a great stay at Thomas’s property! We really appreciated all the thoughtfulness he put into everything - labeling light switches, chargers, detailed directions, children's games and books, extra toiletries, the beautiful flowers that were on the table to great us - the list goes on!! The house was spotless, and we really felt at home! Thank you!

Pops place was a perfect spot to spend with my family for the holidays. The host was very informative and had great communication. They even went the extra mile and left a personal note. I would recommend this property anytime when visiting Dallas.

Pops place was just perfect for us

Our stay wasn't long enough in Texas, but staying at Pop's place was just perfect for us. It felt homey the moment we arrived, everything was clean and we had a very warm welcoming from our Hosts with some cute souvenirs in the middle of the table. They thought of everything! We were so impressed and grateful for it. The rooms were a perfect size, and the beds were comfortable, along with couch. Our hosts were very open with communication and the response time was great. They were very accommodating, and they seem like nice people. Thanks for having us, if we return (which we will) Pop's place will be first on our list. Y'all were the best. ;)

Book It!

The hosts were amazing (even dropped off some toys for our son), the house was immaculately clean and updated, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood and even took many family walks. The house is spacious and perfect for a larger group as the bedrooms are split form BOTH living rooms. Perfect place for us and we will be booking again if we visit the area more!

I (Tommy) am a native to Fort Worth and have lived in only two houses - Pops Place, and my current home in N. Richland Hills. I'm a small business owner and have been happily married since 1999.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This is the house that I grew up in. It was built in 1957, when there was only two other houses on the block. Originally, it did not include a living room or family room. By the time I was born, the living room had been built. I remember helping my dad and brother build the "game room" (now called the Family Room). Some of the neighbors are still there from my childhood. There are a lot of memories at this property!

If you're looking for a place to stay that central to action in Fort Worth and Arlington, not to mention the Alliance area where Texas Motor Speedway is located, you can't find a better location. 15-20 minutes will get you where you need to go, and Loop 820 is only two minutes away, which can get you on the road fast!
