This was the first cabin we stayed in that I didnt feel like I had to strip the beds and wash the sheets before sleeping on them! It was very clean! Hot tub was awesome!! We loved that there was a little bit of Christmas decor, however the tree needs decorations! We stay every December in a cabin for our Anniversary and having Christmas decor can make or break us staying there. The only con we had was the parking. Theres not room for 2 full size vehicles. Other than that, we were extremely pleased with this cabin and would recommend to others! They have everything you need!

Host reached out because internet was down. Super connected to make sure we had a great stay. Cabin was perfect for my family. Location was great for everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely book this location again.

Overall disappointed with the cabin. It lacked a pride of ownership in furnishings. Most furniture was tired and worn. Used towels to lay across the recliners- very stained and felt damp and sticky like? French door blinds were broken- yet there is an extra charge in booking this cabin for anything broken?!!! Bath rug was soaked and rolled up when we arrived- we left it that way. The toilet, too low to ground and every time flushed it continued to run water and had to jiggle handle to make it stop. Cobwebs throughout need to be addressed. Flooring was in desperate need of refinishing. Master needs better lighting and a ceiling fan would have been appreciated. Mattress was ok, but pillows are all very flat. Please consider your guests are looking for a relaxing get away, we made the most of it, but this cabin is not one we would ever choose to return to.

The cabin and property were clean, check-in instructions were clear, it’s a beautiful place! The outlet scent warmers were a bit strong for our taste, but we unplugged them and all was well. Overall, a great place to stay!

Renter Beware

The photos are very misleading and do not disclose the actual property and conditions. First the outside is very dark at night as there is no working lights leading up the porch steps, the railing is unstable and unsafe as it’s wobbly. There is also an enormous amount of cob webs outside on the porch and inside. The bathroom shower faucet is coming out of the wall. The floor inside the cabin has chunks of wood missing and the floor appears dirty. Our air stopped working and we had to leave the cabin for several hours because it was suffocating inside. The owner lives in California so he had to find a repair man local who wasn't available right away and it was such an inconvenience with children when all we wanted to do was relax inside the cabin we already paid for. I also picked up a “clean” wash cloth on night one of our stay in the bathroom and it had dark yellow stains of some type. Also the grill outside that is listed on the property details is not operational as when we arrived that was the first thing we noticed it was broken and just laid right as you get out of the one and only tiny parking spot. The neighbors next door also were throwing a loud party literally every single night causing unnecessary noise, blasting music, lighting off fireworks (although there is a sign posted as you enter into the complex that fireworks are prohibited) and just being a nuisance until the early morning hours (quiet hours begin at 9PM according to the “rules”).

Nice get away

We enjoyed our vacation with our family of 5. The cabin was great location to everywhere we visited. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Table was great size to accommodate us. We are a family who usually eats at home and my only complaint would be zero storage for food and not a lot of counter space to prepare since it was holding our dry goods. Also bummed that the grill was down due to having to relocate it. The loft did get warm so may want to have a fan. Overall great get away home and owners were very responsive.

Property was “just” okay. First night there we had to spray Raid for ants behind the sink. Several spiders webs on first floor in corners. Toilet in bathroom seems to be 20 years old, VERY small and low to the floor. Major thing for me and my family was the non-working TV remote in the family room. First two nights we were unable to watch TV as a family, finally got a new remote on our third night there. Definitely would not stay here again nor recommend it. Owner promised compensation for the two nights without a TV, as of now haven’t received anything and we checked out yesterday at 9:00 a.m.

Cute Cabin!

The cabin was very clean and spacious yet cozy. We liked that the owners provided great quality robes and towels for the hot tub. Definitely will be back!

Awesome Experience

My family and I were visiting from Central Minnesota and we had a wonderful time! Everything was very clean and organized and the owner was always super quick to get back to me when needed. The only small con I would mention is that this particular lot was very steep, so just something to note if you have little kids. Other than that, we had zero issues and would definitely visit again!

This cabin is perfect!

This cabin is exactly as described On Vrbo. It’s clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay whether it be extended or short term. The host is quick to respond to anything that you need and the check-in is quick, and easy! The cabin is close enough to the main strip, but far enough to enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again!

Great location. Far enough away from the strip to relax and enjoy the quietness of the Smokey Mountains but close enough to all the attractions/resturants. We enjoyed the hottub! The house had a few minor items that could use an update/refresh and then would have been a 5 rating. A deep clean is needed and a refresh of paint. The dressors/nightstands werent all in working condition and we had to make some adjustment in the shower the first night to keep the water in the shower. The dishwasher also made the clean dishes stinky so we hand washed everything. Most of the minor issues probably result from previous renters but do think an update would be in order for the price.

5 stars for even the toilet paper and ice

When I walk into a place I am always looking at the little things. This place was gorgeous and just like the pictures. Check in was flawless and we had no reason to even speak to the hosts so I gave them 5 stars anyway. The guide book was perfect for giving us rules for easy check out. The ice tray was completed full and four ice trays ready to go. The toilet paper was good quality didn’t even use my own I brought. Lol overall great cabin, well stocked and WiFi was excellent!

Great summer vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Smokey Pines cabin. The cabin was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed reading on the deck in the evenings.

Wonderful Cozy Cabin

This cabin had everything we needed It was stocked with everything we needed including pots and plates as well as dish detergent and laundry detergent. The location was far enough from all the busy roads, but close enough to get to places quickly. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. Would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to have a quiet getaway and we would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your cabin. We loved that the cabin was located 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and just minutes from a little grocery stand & pizza shop - convenience was key. Cabin was exactly as described, well appointed and on a great piece of land with great views. This worked well for my family of 4 including two boys, age 10 and 9. Would definitely stay here again.
