Originally a tobacco barn, this custom 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home has been completely renovated and modernized! Step into our breathtaking living room to a 32' ceiling, an enormous antler chandelier, huge gas log fireplace with 75" Roku smart TV mounted above it.... You will be blown away by the views surrounding this home. There are two large ponds off of the porches and beautiful forests full of wildlife. Fishing, kayaking, biking and bird watching are just some of the amenities provided as well as high-speed internet throughout the home and large screen Roku tvs. Fully furnished and professionally decorated, this home is a 5 star experience in a secluded setting. Just 5 minutes from downtown Walterboro you will have a relaxing, peaceful experience without being "off the grid". A true getaway

Me and the kids (adults now!) were visiting for my grandmother's 95th birthday. We also needed the trip because my wife had passed only a month prior.The house was gorgeous and the scenery was exactly what we needed to feel at home again in SC.

Beautiful home on beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay in the Tobacco House. The home is modern and nicely equipped. The property is gorgeous and very quiet. Since there is more than one house on the property, we were able to rent two of the homes for our family gathering.

The tobacco barn

If you want to find yourself lost and in love with the environment this is the place to go. watching the sunrise downstairs through the glass was the most peaceful morning I’ve had in a long time, the bathrooms are amazing and the property is just perfect.

The home was amazing and the property was spectacular . Our family of 6 with kids from 13 years or down to 4years had a wonderful time . We walked the trailers and road bikes around and enjoyed the time away . Truly felt detached from our busy days amd was so relaxing . We all enjoyed and are planning to go back next fall or spring .

Love this place

Home decor is very well thought out. Guest bathroom showers are small and there is no long length mirrors but they make up for it with do many other features. I would go back for sure.

Excellent stay

Eden at Gracefield was absolutely a beautiful place. I reserved two of the homes on the property, The Ashepoo and Tobacco Barn. I could not have been more impressed with both of the homes. Very clean and equipped with everything needed for the weekend. Definitely would recommend Eden at Gracefield. I as well as other family members plan to come back!

Simply perfection! We stayed at this lake house over the weekend, after spending a busy week at Myrtle Beach. The property is exactly as listed, only better! It was very well appointed, expertly decorated, and the grounds are beautiful. The owners thought of everything. A very relaxing weekend, before going back to work. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was the perfect getaway for our family!

Fantastic experience!

This beautiful hidden gem may be our favorite of all the VRBO’s we have ever stayed in. This beautifully renovated space was breathtaking inside and out. It is beautifully furnished , the beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was like something out of Modern Farmhouse magazine ! Every little detail in the house was carefully thought through and it showed. We didn’t want to leave ! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us ❤️

Nice and accommodating!!

The Roku TV did not operate as anticipated and there were some kitchen items which we had hoped to be able to use that were not there. Otherwise, the place was amazing and perfect for some of the wedding day's events!! Last thing, when referring to the place, if you could consistently refer to the place as the "Tobacco Barn". Confusion came when it was referred also as "Lakeside". Thanks.

Exceeded expectations!

Late planned trip for Christmas with family at the Tobacco Barn was awesome and just what our family needed! Absolutely better than expected! I couldn't have picked a better Vrbo if I made the reservation a year in advance! Although it was unseasonably cold, we were able to spend ample time outdoors enjoying the property. I can't imagine a better home to have spent biking, fishing, resting, and relaxing while enjoying the beauty of the location. Laura and her team were awesome! We had a couple unforeseen issues that were not urgent at all however, they responded quickly and were very kind, courteous, friendly, and wonderful people. We absolutely loved our vacation, and the hosts, home, and property played a huge role.

Spectacular Property

Rented the property for out-of-town family to stay during the wedding and they were blown away by the beautiful design. The property a relaxing place for all to unwind and spend time together. The host are amazing and definitely hope to return.

Beautiful property

My husband and I loved every second we spent on this property. Every inch of this cabin is decorated so beautifully. I love the fact that every room has their own individual bathroom. Very clean & the host responded quickly every time I had questions. We kayaked, caught fish, and saw lots of wildlife. I was really impressed with the remote control fire place & it has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We will definitely be back.

Weekend get-away...

Lovely, private and peaceful property / home! This is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy nature...Tobacco Barn is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean with attention to every detail. And, Laura Walker is quick with respones and easy to work with... We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning!

WOW! What an amazing property. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe this amazing home on the most beautiful property. This home is just heavenly. The owner has not missed a detail in furnishing this home and every need has been thought of. Once you step out of the house, you are on the most gorgeous, peaceful land. This is the PERFECT place to stay for a retreat, getaway, family vacation, anything. And the land could not be a better spot for a wedding, family reunion, corporate event, you name it. Such a magical property!

It’s hard to put into words how absolutely stunning the property is. I couldn’t put my phone down or video camera as I tried to capture such serene moments so often. The barn itself is just so well done. Every detail was fabulous. Those twinkle lights in the master and the bathroom light accents were so gorgeous we kept them on all day. The fireplace really set the tone for a relaxing weekend too! We traveled to this amazing location looking for some land for our two boys to explore with views, a nice house, and relaxing setting. This house and property exceeded our expectations. Soon after we arrived we realized we could explore as much as we wanted and how much there was to actually explore! You can explore by car or walking which was such a luxury considering the large estate. But everything you want to see is within a mile! We were a little worried about food but had great experiences at the restaurants we did chose, which were all close to the property (one delivered to the barn!). This place really raised the bar for all of our future trips. Major thanks to the host!!!

Best VRBO I’ve ever experienced

This is an amazing property, inside and outside. Everything is top of the line, linens, towels, kitchen, bathrooms, games, TVs, outside views, from and back porches, blankets, gas fireplace, grills, bicycles. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back. The host was always available before the trip, but we didn’t need anything after we arrived.

This property is located on an estate Paul acquired 4 years ago. The tobacco barn was not in the best shape but the potential was there... it just needed the knowledge and ability to make it shine. Originally a tobacco barn with a few bedrooms and bath, it retains the original beams used to dry tobacco on. The original wood floors were roughly sanded and used to line the walls of the master bedroom and in other areas throughout the home. This is a one of a kind luxurious house surrounded by some of the most beautiful land in Colleton County. Have your family vacation here or come see us at Eden at Gracefield to have your wedding or special event. We can host events for up to 300+ in our on-site event barn and even larger events can be accommodated in several areas on the estate with tents.
