Best Views in a Gorgeous House

What a stunning house in a very convenient location with lots of restaurants, shops and things to do close by. Antje could not have been easier to deal with and she made us feel so welcome familiarising us with all the necessary things in the house on arrival. It definitely exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend it.

First time in Noordhoek

What a lovely stay we had! Antje was marvellous and so kind. Our flight in from Jo Burg was late and when we informed her of our late arrival she offered to get our shopping in for the evening! The house was lovely, in a beautiful secure area, we felt safe and welcomed. Antje gave us lots of tips on places to explore, and despite the weather not being too great during our stay, we had the most lovely time and went to the local markets. The one on the Weds night at the local was our favourite, but it was also lovely to go to Cape Point Vineyard on the Thursday and sit out with the locals. Couldn't fault the house, beautifully designed with everything we needed and more. Antje was fantastic and only ever a message away - we hope to return again and hopefully have slightly better weather next time! For anyone who is new to the area, Chapmans Beach is a short walk away, we sat with a few locals with a bottle of wine one evening on the sands. Beautiful white and clean sands! The Chapmans Peak drive is stunning and within 1/2 hour drive you can be over to the other coast line, False Bay and go cage diving with sharks from Simon's Town - highly recommended! The house is in walkable distance to shops and a 5 minute drive to the larger mall. Very accessible. We hope to be back!

Breathtaking view

We were a group of seven and Chapman’s View was the perfect location. The home is beautiful, convenient, and so comfortable. The fire place was a real treat. Everything was well thought out so we lacked for nothing- except maybe a clothes dryer would be helpful for cold rainy weather. Antje was so nice and helpful giving us great tips about local spots . We wished we had more days to stay and enjoy!

Fabulous stay at Chapman's View Villa

Chapman's View Villa is a great place to stay and explore the Cape province. The villa itself is beyond expectations! It's spacious, has great views and is perfectly located. On top of all this there is a warm welcome and you will get all the help you need to find your way around and to deal with any issue you may face. Chapman's View Villa is certainly a place we will return to.

Traumhaus in Traumlage!

Man kann es kaum in Worte fassen wie traumhaft schön diese Villa ist. Sie liegt optimal auf einer Anhöhe, sodass man eine super Aussicht auf das Meer hat. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt einfach. Zum Schluss muss noch gesagt werden dass vor allem diese wunderschöne Villa dazu beigetragen hat das der Urlaub in Südafrika zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis wurde.

Perfect place to explore the Cape

Chapman's View Villa crowns a lovely hill in Nordhoek. Views are sublime and the house is truly a home. The living room sports a marvelous fireplace and heated floors that keep the place warm and cozy in mid-winter. The bedrooms provide ample space and many have their own balconies and views of Nordhoek's spectacular beach or Chapman's Peak. The kitchen is well-stocked and intuitive. That is, you can feel right at home in the space of a few hours because you can find the utensils and mixing bowls or make yourself a cup of coffee without having to look in every nook and cranny. If you do have questions about the house or your surroundings, Thomas and Antje, the lovely couple who manage the villa are only a phone call or text message away. They welcomed us warmly into this lovely home and gave us recommendations from restaurants to day trips to wineries. They know Nordhoek and the Cape like no one else and will have great tips for any visitors at any time you may visit. Chapman's View Villa is the perfect place from which to explore the treasures of the Cape Peninsula. Simon's Town's penguins are only 30 minutes away and the superb vistas along Chapman's Peak drive begin just a stone's throw from the house. We enjoyed the drive on this spectacular road so much we headed to Cape Town and back multiple times during our stay. Of course, you can always walk to the beach or just down the road the opposite direction to Nordhoek Farm Village for a coffee, a drink, some gourmet groceries or some fine dining. We fully plan to return to Chapman's View Villa in the near future. The warmth of the home, the beauty of the surroundings and the welcoming hosts make for a picture-perfect vacation.

Unforgettable experience

From the amazing views (day and night), neighborhood setting, beautiful landscaping, well stocked kitchen, to the comfortable beds we could not have asked for a better home to base our stay in Cape Town. We found the house to be well maintained, clean and well supplied for guest needs. A booklet of information regarding the house and Cape Town was provided by the property manager, Antje, that was very helpful. We took Antje's advice and ate tapas at the Food Barn and also visited the Cape Point Winery for their Thursday evening community event. Both were just around the corner from the home and were among the highlights of our trip. We will look back on our time in Cape Town with fond memories.

Magnifique !

Quelle magnifique location de vacances que cette villa à Noodhoek ! Proche du Cap et de la pointe de Bonne Espérance ,excellent emplacement pour visiter la région ! Proche également des commerces er de la plage . Accueil , échanges faciles et sympathiques avec Antje . Nous avons aimé la décoration,l'espace ,les vues extérieures et le calme et le grand confort de la villa . Villa hyper sécurisée Nous recommandons fortement cette villa . Amitiés depuis la France

Der absolute Traum einer Villa

Zuerst einmal muß ich sagen, daß die Villa ein absoluter Traum ist in absoluter Traumlage!!!!!!! Wir waren vom 05.03.-17.03.2017 für 2 Wochen in der Chapmans View Villa und ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich mit dem schwärmen zuerst anfangen soll??? Man kommt in der Villa an, und fühlt sich sofort zu Hause angekommen. Das Haus ist superschön und liebevoll eingerichtet, es paßt einfach alles bis ins kleinste Detail. Es ist alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt, angefangen von der Nespressomaschine, Spülmaschine, Radio-CD-Anlage (es sind auch eine Menge schöner CD´s vorhanden), extra große Kuschelcouch, sehr gutes Internet (W-Lan), 4 Schlafzimmer (eines mit integriertem Bad), 2 extra Bäder (alle Bäder mit schönen großen Duschen), Zeitschriften, Bücher, Infomaterial über Südafrika, sehr schön angelegter Garten mit Pool und Pooldeck zum Relaxen, Terrasse, 2 Balkone (hier kann man Abends superschön und gemütlich einen Sundowner genießen und die Sonne im Meer untergehen sehen), Blick auf den Long-Beach (dieser ist wunderschön für ausgiebige Strandspaziergänge) usw. usw. Ich könnte stundenlang schwärmen!!! Der Bäcker (hier habe ich jeden Morgen frische Croissants und Semmeln geholt), Restaurants und kleine Geschäfte sind in wenigen Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt, Alarmanlage für die Sicherheit mit 24-Stunden Sicherheitsdienst, 2 Garagen. Von Noordhoek aus (hier ist die Villa) kann man alles Sehenswerte sehr schnell und gut erreichen (Kap der guten Hoffnung, Kapstadt selber). Der Chapmans-Peak-Drive ist super geeignet für ambitionierte Fahrradfahrer oder auch mit dem Auto Richtung Kapstadt zu fahren an der Küste entlang, dies ist ein Traum. Wir waren jetzt schon in mehreren Ferienhäusern in Frankreich, Italien usw., doch die Chapmans View Villa ist mit Abstand das Beste, was wir jemals erlebt haben! Wir empfehlen die Villa zu 150% weiter und freuen uns schon, bald mal wieder dort zu sein, da man die Schönheiten der Natur von Kapstadt und Umgebung in 14 Tagen unmöglich schaffen kann, es gibt immer wieder Neues zu entdecken. Die Hausverwalterin Antje und ihr Mann Thomas machen einen super Job, haben immer ein offenes Ohr und gute Tips. Auch die Putzfrau und der Gärtner sind hier nur lobend zu erwähnen. Alles in allem war es ein absoluter Traumurlaub für uns in absoluter Traumumgebung, was wir sehr genossen haben!!!!!

So schön wie daheim!

Wir durften zum Abschluss unserer 3,5 wöchigen Südafrika Reise 8 Nächte in diesem tollen Haus verbringen. Nach vielen Nächten in den Nationalparks und normalen Unterkünften war es wie "nach Hause kommen". Das Haus ist mit Liebe eingerichtet worden, es gab nichts, was wir vermisst haben. Nach Wochen des "Handspülens" war gerade die Spülmaschine ein Segen. Die Liebe zum Detail zeichnet sich im ganzen Haus aus: eine ansprechende, moderne Möblierung, die bequem ist und Betten mit super Matratzen. Wir waren nur zu dritt da, aber auch mit bis zu 8 Personen haben alle noch genug Platz und Freiraum. Auch die verschiedenen Sitzplätze am Pool (der solarbeheizt ist, super für Kids), auf der Terrasse oder vor dem Haus mit Blick auf Noordhoek Beach sind perfekt. Und das alles in eine super Umgebung: 3 Minuten Fahrzeit zum Farm Village mit seinen tollen Restaurants und der genialen Bäckerei fürs Frühstück, 2 Minuten zum Chapman's Peak, 2 Minuten zum Noordhoek Beach und gut 40 Minuten bis zur Waterfront nach Kapstadt. Eine rundum gelungene Unterkunft! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Tolles Ferienhaus in perfekter Lage

Das Haus liegt in toller Nähe zu den Naturschönheiten am Kap. Über den Chapmans Peak kommt man auf atemberaubender Strecke in kurzer Zeit nach Kapstadt und an die Waterfront. Die Anreise vom Flughafen ist auch in weniger als einer Stunde erfolgt. Um die Ecke gibt es eine ausgezeichnete Bäckerei und tolle Lokale. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet. In den 4 Schlafzimmern und 2 modernen Bädern gibt es richtig viel Platz um sich auch mit mehr Personen nicht beengt zu fühlen. Die Aussicht über die Meeresbucht und den Bergrücke ist nicht nur zum Sundowner atemberaubend. Ankommen und Zuhause sein!

Exquisites Haus mit sensationeller Aussicht

Beurteilung des Ferienhauses der Familie Baar in Noordhoek, ca. 25 km südlich von Kapstadt Die Villa besticht durch die traumhafte Lage an den südlichen Ausläufern des Chapmans Peak mit phantastischem Panoramablick auf Noordhoek und seinem kilometerlangen weißen Sandstrand. Das Haus wurde nach einem Besitzerwechsel im Oktober 2015 komplett neu sehr geschmackvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet: Große King Size Betten, flauschige Handtücher, formschöne farbenfrohe Liegen auf einem erhöhten Deck an dem beheizten windgeschützten Pool. Der kilometerlange Strand ist vom Haus zu Fuß in ca. 10 min zu erreichen. Dort kann man endlos wandern oder sich ein Pferd mieten. Die Küchenausstattung ist außergewöhnlich hochwertig mit Spülmaschine, weißem Geschirr und WMF Besteck und Töpfen, Nespresso Kaffeemaschine mit Milchschäumer etc. Für evtl. anfallende Wäsche steht eine neue Waschmaschine zu Verfügung. Wir waren eine Woche im Oktober 2015 dort und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Vor allem der Sundowner auf einer der beiden oberen Terrassen mit 270° Blick über Landschaft und Meer ist phänomenal. Die Buchung war absolut unkompliziert, die Betreuung vor Ort war bestens. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder! Sensationell!
